- Turn of the Century 52" Dual Mount Ceiling Fan in pink. This is another fan I found in the trash during Cleanup Week a couple of years ago. Finally got around to cleaning it up, and it turned out pretty well. Was really just super dusty and needed some TLC to get all the nooks and crannies cleaned up well. Super wish it had a downrod with it, but I'd say 90% of the time I see these they were flush mounted, 5% they have a super looooong rod, and the other 5% they have the original short rod. Could eventually paint one for it, just didn't have time to do it for the video. Not the quietest motor in these, but otherwise it runs quite well. Like I've said before, these weren't a horrible buy. Decent build and performance for a bottom-tier home center brand, and the colors were phenomenal. This one has perhaps the worst-cut blades I've seen on one of these, with a lot of wavy edges particularly near the screw attachment end. Not really super visible when installed, but it's probably the worst QC I've run across, which is a fair testament to their general okay-ness. I've been wanting to find a generic nondescript pink fan for quite a while but never wanted to invest much, so I was happy to run across this one for free.

I love this fan no doubt, especially their White, Red, and Blue colors.
It's cool you have another variation of this model.
I loved these fans, especially in piano black.
I'd honestly like to see this as a display piece. It's cool enough to at least have one go
I love your videos keep it up
Will never forgive my childhood DQ for getting rid of these. Were totally meant for the place
Neat! Another one!
Cool!
Never would've thought it was in the trash, looks brand new. Also, question- can I install a hugger in a room with 7' ceilings (I'm thinking a 42" Hunter low profile)?
You can do whatever you want; I mount industrials at 8' all the time. You just have to be mindful of the install so you don't stick your arms into the fan, and know that you didn't adhere to the explicit manufacturer recommendations so you have no footing to go after them if it causes injury or other such problems.
@@vfandm Yeah, that's what I was worried about lol, I found out that there used to be a fan installed in that spot so I should be good to go, but thanks for the reply
I always had a soft spot for them. I would love to get the complete color collection and I would have by now but they always are in subpar condition or overpriced.
OMG YES. Literally. What is with that? Like they used to show up on Craigslist all the time a decade ago, but were always mangled beyond recognition and priced at $50. I would've gotten some of them through the years if they were nicely disassembled in a box priced at $20 or less, but for some reason they almost NEVER come up like that.
@@vfandm These were among the cheapest so I guess they just took the beatings. Then when reselling, they saw the color and thought it was something special. My dad got me a free black one ages ago and I am glad he did now because all I see nowadays is beat up white ones for too much.
