TAT-Martec UFO Motor (Likely 1st Iteration Model) Ceiling Fan w/ Oyster Light

Here is my 48 inch (1200mm) industrial variant Martec UFO (manufactured by TAT) ceiling fan with an older design oyster light kit on it. This is one of the older iterations of the UFO motor fans, with a flowerpot canopy, brass trim around the motor, and is non-reversible. Collectors refer to these fans as such because the design of the motor looks like a flying saucer.
Dates to most likely the early - mid 80s. I got this fan from another fan collector who went to go get a few fans for fellow fan collector and good friend of mine, Lachlan’s Lights and Fans.
There were two of these fans for sale as well as a few other models, on the FB Marketplace advertisement. Only one of them had a light kit which is the one you see in this video. The other one has gone to Lachlan which he did a video a little while ago on. The collector who shipped this one for me was kind enough to give me two spare diffusers, one of them has a fancy pattern around it!
Performance is quite good. The oyster light is a bit rattly and it wobbles quite a bit. I think one of the blades is out of whack. The UFO motor fans are among my favourites due to the retro space-age designs they give off. Enjoy! 😁
