I adore your content thank you! I learn way more from this channel than my doctor
Wow! I was eagerly waiting on Mark Pimentel’s publication on this. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, he said he won't publish it, and I totally get why. But I'm glad I heard about it in his webinars at least :)
I love this channel so much!!!
Wow....best content in its category on UA-cam. 100k followers one day. Keep it going!
Thank you! 😊 Man, just think of all the wacky experiments I can conduct once I get to that level. Just the other day I was plotting one that involved a blender... MWAHAHAHAHAHA
Wow. Thank you for this amazing video. I was just diagnosed as positive for anti-vinculin antibodies with no information about what it is or what to do. This gives me a foundational understanding and some steps to move forward with treatment.
By the way, I really love you Dr. Dinezza. I wish I can support you on patreon but I am from Turkey and dolar is x20 times more than Turkish lira. All I can do is write a comment, like your videos and share with who needs. You really helped me so much.
I'm so, so grateful for you taking the time to do those things! That all helps a TON! And thank you for the smile-inducing comment, too 😊🥰
Awesome video, thank you!
I want to thank you for the education. I appreciate you
Your videos are awesome. I like how you break it down into simple explanations. Nice work! Question; Does anti-vinculin feed off of protein?
Really appreciate this video. Not enough info out there about what to do about anti vinculin
So excited to see this video today! Yes - Pimentel's "off the record" clinical anecdote was in people. I've heard him speak about this 2-3 times on webinars for Anti vinculin antibodies for providers! But yes, not a viable solution! Thanks for the note about the Lion's Mane - I haven't been seeing results with other brands, so I will bring the Real Mushrooms brand to my practice!
Yeah, definitly not a viable long-term solution, but it does give us hints for how to treat the condition 😀
Yes I agree. He kind of repeats the same info over and over but no real solution. It’s been years! We need solutions
@@boop5287 the thing is, he HAS given you the solution in his mind. Rifaximin. End of list. Ta-da! 😂
I have good solutions with Cordyceps extrakt 2times a day 1500mg). Also Papain (or chew Papaiseeds )2-3 times a day will help you to higher up the mmc frequences)
@@gutmicrobiomequeen I got 1 month of relief from rifamaxin andmetronidazole then allicin and oil of oregono. Now back to severe gas, pain, constipation and bloating. Should I try rifamaxin again?
Fantastic video! What are your thoughts on Sulforaphane for this? As I understand, it would activate NRF2 and enable the body to "clean house" and rebuild the epithelial layer without directly "killing" the way antimicrobials do. But I also wonder, could it possibly over-stimulate an already hyperactive immune system? And since it is a 'hot' herb, could it, like ginger, burn or irritate the lining causing more damage than good?
Histamine intolerance / MCAS linked to gut. I’m trying to understand this and heal this. - please give any tips. You are incredibly knowledgeable…as this is extremely valuable information and you deserve more praise for it. Thank you
Love this, more post infection ibs content. I'd love more specific supplement and diet recommendations.
I suppose I could do that, but as I said in this video, it's not that different from treating any other type of autoimmunity. The only supplements I'd do differently are the prokinetics, lions mane, and perhaps antimicrobials for the SIBO itself.
How about the fasting mimicking diet? Of course only if one is not underweight?
Great video. Can you do a video on traveling internationally if you have these antibiotics due to previous poisoning.
Excellent video, thinking is like a Dr Yanuck video, but a much simpler presentation, highly effective!
Oh my goodness, that is the highest compliment you could give me! I love Dr. Yanuck's stuff 🥰 He's a really down to earth guy, too.
I want to hear all the Nerdy stuff make no mistake about it
Great Videos, thank you so much 🙏🏻
Do you have any helpful tips when SIBO treatment went completly wrong. You lost so much weight and are Not able to gain weight again…? I‘m very underweight Right now..
Im wondering if LDN could be helpful for this condition? Also how much of Lions mane you recommend? Thank you for all your videos!
There’s a large body of research that LDN does work.
Any experience with the products Fixbiome and Fixsibo?
What’s good for gut motility?
Great content as usual. any advice for someone who lost their hair due to weight loss and SEBO, I have gained more weight and ate iron from animal sources for a long time and now I am working on SEBO treatment but it was not enough for hair growth I feel I need extra help from supplements like iron but I am afraid because it is heavy in my body (Cases of poor absorption and sibo) What about lactoferrin Does it help?
It's hard to give advice without knowing all the details of your case. However, I will share that I experienced a lot of hair loss in 2020, to the point that I told my husband that I really didn't want to be known as "the bald youtuber." I checked my thyroid, Iron, and hormones and they were all normal. Turns out the cause for me was stress. After a few weeks of addressing that (ex. I picked up painting as a new hobby!) the hair loss slowed back down to normal 😀
@@gutmicrobiomequeen Is there any paid platform that I can ask you questions there?
@@mekotobi5930 up until recently, I just offered private coaching and my group program FODMAP Freedom. I recently started a Patreon, though! The link is in the description of this video. My hope is to offer monthly live Q&As for the Q&A tier members.
I took MMC'S and garlic and artichoke extract but didn't find improvement in symptoms? Although I didn't change anything in my diet so maybe that's a factor too.
Does elevated anti vinculin cause bloating or is it sibo?
I can’t figure out what’s going on - ever since last fall they have me levothyroxine and it gave me a bad reaction. Then my levels went up and I got off of it. I was dizzy l, having insomnia, weird stuff. Then I developed stomach pain and SIBo. I had take alot of PPI at the time cause I thought that was what my stomach pain was from. Then I got pregnant and had a miscarriage so I couldn’t treat sibo til after miscarriage. Now I’ve treated it since may with two rounds of xifaxan and two rounds candibactin. I’m still extremely bloated and I’m pain from the gas. I have high antibodies for thyroid and low ferretin, iodine since seeing a naturopath. I’m feeling worse. I’m feeling hopeless. Just a year ago I was fine. I don’t know how to deal with this daily pain and bloating anymore
Can you suggest a pro-kinetic for a 5 year old?
Would an FMT make sense against the antibodies? Of course, additionally to the other things you mentioned in the video.
I got a question for you 🤔 What do you think about running PHGG,GOS together in low dose 🤔
Do you think Benfotiamine will up regulate the Vinculin
Where can we find infos about the unpublished plasmapheresis study?
My post infectious ibs/silo was a result of a colonoscopy. My new GI doctor says I am extremely likely to have it happen again after another colonoscopy.
so what to do to get better?
I am unable to supplement with prokinetics without getting side effects. Can I do castor oil packs for prokinetic effect or is it not that stimulating? And what do you recommend to test for anti-vinculin antibody?
@@ysunsets yes lowers blood sugar drastically and since i already suffer from a H2S dysbiosis with a lack of Firmicutes phylum, I dont tolerate it very well plus it is full of oxalates
Have you tried ginger root?
Where would you even find a doctor who's knowledgeable in this? The last one I visited wasn't aware a blood test for anti-vinculin antibodies exists, I had to pursue that testing on my own. :( Now I'm not sure where to go as far as treatment either, why is this so unknown?
Can you have vinculin antibodies if calprotectin levels are normal?
Pmentels´treatment name is Plasmapheresis
THANK YOU!! This was driving me bonkers 😂
The chemicals in the tap water that aggravates the immune system
So is it possible to cure autoimmune sibo due to food poisoning?
Yes! Or, at least put it into remission, which means the autoimmunity can get stirred up again if your life goes off the rails.
How about bifido lactis HN019? It appears to be a prokinetic researched for constipation. Do u have any knowledge of mutaflor?
Where can I find this?
@@ramonaprow611 life extension for the bifido lactis
Yes, I've had that Life Extension product in my probiotic testing line-up for about a year now. I don't have a lot of feedback on week+ long use of it yet, though.
Also! I do use Mutaflor! We have to order it from Canada bc it's not sold here in the USA. I've mostly used it for constipation and UC, but I'm also using it a bit in SIBO now! My reasoning is:
- Mutaflor is a good E coli that competes with the bad types of E coli
- Most cases of SIBO are E coli and/or Klebsiella based
- Therefore, maybe Mutaflor could compete with the E coli that makes up the overgrowth in SIBO!
@@gutmicrobiomequeen Have you seen this or used Fixbiome and Fixsibo?
Ma'am Benfotiamine for the VNS
Ma'am I just got on VIT D3 at 5000iu daily.
Is secretery IgA anti viculin?
Nope, totally different thing
@@gutmicrobiomequeen thanks! I have elevated IgA, candida and dysbiosis, and am allergic to everything. Is there anything you can tell me about IgA and how its different etc.?
how do you treat oral dysbiosis?
This should be the topic of a video, I think! 😉
@@gutmicrobiomequeen looking forward to
Just wanted to share that parasites like giardia can cause high antivinculin antibodies. I’ve been struggling to get rid of sibo until I cleared giardia
How did you clear giardia? Do the antivinculin antibodies go away once giardia is cleared?
Yes first time I heard others experiencing this. Once you clear the giardia anti vinculin won’t clear. It’s been about 2 years and finally someone had a video on elevated vinculin. I’ve just been experiencing bloating every time I eat I’m hoping once I bring it down the bloat will go away
@@brandonmyles5241antivinculin can go down with time if you clear the infection causing it. It can take 1-2 years though
@@Lia-qv4hrI took alinia. Not yet because I have sibo left over which led to high antivinculin too from food poisoning
got giardia in 2020. took metrodinazol for 5 days ... got 90% better... 4-5 months later got gastroenteritis and symtoms relapse for good. 2021 did metrodinazol for 14 days. It was me again . 5 months later got gastroenteritis again and symptoms relapse all over again. it has been a year straight and ive tried a lot of herbals and im better but still with many symtoms.
Vitamin A and Vitamin D?
Yep! If I had to pick two vitamins that are ULTRA important for autoimmunity it would be A and D.
Look into NAC for that lingering phlegm ❤
Thank you so much for trying to help! I'm a BIG fan of NAC and took about 3,000 mg per day while I had COVID. Then, about a week ago, I stopped it for a week bc I was wondering if it was thinning my secretions *too much* and causing this problem. I just recently added it back in bc cutting it out didn't seem to make a difference. I have access to a three hour lecture on herbs for different types of coughs- now I just have to find three hours this weekend to watch it 🤪
I use conventional hookah to increase motility
Fascinating!
@@ysunsets you need to relax a little, maybe smoke some hookah?
