great review.. and excellent piece of work done by Revolt. I think the battery swaping is only sucessfull if Revolt company sell the vehicle without battery. Otherwise ppls will be little worried about exchanging their original battery pack with some random battery.
On this day i.e., 6 Dec 20, 1 liter petrol costs 89.37 rupees...which will become 100 rs in coming 2 years(at least I think so)... in such a scenario, electric scooters are the best option in city. But nothing is more satisfying than changing gears, revving the engine and hearing that sweet sound...
EV servicing at regular intervals similar to ICE vehicle is nothing but eyewash even more so in case of 2 wheelers. If the vehicle has smart diagnostics and it's not showing anything you are good to keep it running. Of course don't forget to keep it clean and oil the chain regularly if it has chains.

Today I took test ride of 400. He is very right. Co. must review its seat arrangement. It must be of a commuter e.g. unicorn. Long and flattened. Otherwise a great city performer. Very good pickup even with 150+ kg weigh. Rear mudguard is very long. Seat needs to go back further 6". Give leverage of 2nd pillion if rider is ready to take challans. Battery display they say has been rectified in new arrivals with couplers.After test ride no direct feedback to company. Agent writes in diary and assures to tell the Co. Very good need of the time product but manufaturers doesn't seem serious. Let me know immediately if seat is changed. I will cancel my other bike plan.

Few doubts about electric vehicles. 1) what is the (fuel efficiency) behaviour of electric vehicles ? I mean - in normal vehicles, if u go in traffic slowly, the fuel efficiency drops. If u go at high speed it drops. There is an optimum speed at which we get the best fe. Is it the same with these electric vehicles as well ? Is it necessary that we really go at 35 to squeeze the best efficiency ? Or could he have gone at maybe 60 ? 2) what are the load pulling characteristics of these ? With pillion will they be able to pull uphill ?
Electric motors have same level of torque at any speed level Battery efficiency depends on speed more speed , more power consumption so less range and overall ev is twice efficient in terms of energy conservation than ICE engines

Not at all. We can say that the company took inspiration from the bike which looks like the same but every single part is assembled in India. It's totally safe and a thing to proud.
We will never know Suraj. They are getting a FAME 2 certification, so we assume many components are localised. Battery pack - they are getting from an Indian assembler. We do know that Revolt team has invested in RnD on the apps and software. This is a fantastic start. Thousands of Revolters in 5 cities are enjoying electric mobility and are making a difference. We hope they can take if from here and localize further. Even Ather has realised it needs local partners/distributors to go pan India - a lesson from Revolt. How is your 450 doing?

My ather 450 is doing real well, just a LOT of vampire (standby) drain as the usage in these pandemic times has fallen drastically. Constant effort to keep the battery healthy when not in use. 35 is on 1st mode, you can choose mode 2 or 3 for extra speed, but in that case as he mentioned you'll have to compromise on range

There was no visible drop in range. We should be doing a test once user completes 30k km.

It is not made for long rides....non of the electric scooter or bike...m still waiting for a good product. Even the companies like bajaj n tvs launched Garbage. 70 to 80 km range is useless. Comparison b thik ni kr rahe hai. Compare range of full tank petrol scoter vs range of fully charged electric scoter. Min 200kms range should be there with 100kmph speed

All service and parts will come under warranty... only if parts get damage will charge,but even in that case u can claim with zero depth Insurance..
