I have xt long range, with ac steady and calm highway driving with speed around 50-65 kmph max 75kmph some times I got 240km range on full charge with ac and roughly 290km range without ac. The range will decrease overtime, as battery gets old. Driving technique matters the most.
Abhishek , the gun you take out is form your right hand ! Left handed people scratch their hand while taking out gun, compare with nexonEV, the lid opens much wider ! And is very convenient , even the metal part for the clip to lock, it’s much heavier quality, it doesn’t bend easily with hand
Lack of remote diagnosis and training can leave a bitter taste to the end user. Hopefully Tata works on holistic approach to troubleshoot and help their service teams.
Recently bought tiago ev XT [ LR] . i drive almost 90% on hilly terrain because Meghalaya is a hilly state , around 1500 Metres ASL.
I was surprised to get range of about 260-270 kms in hilly roads without AC , when i see in youtube that people driving the tiago ev in plain flat roads get only 190-200 kms.
Also the power/pikup of the tiago ev is better than petrol/dieselcars in hilly areas.
Also it is less tiring to drive an electric car than a petrol car.
Charging infrastructure must improve by government compulsory.
I have also bought Tiago EV XT long range excellent driving experience but only anxiety in long trip due to lack of charging infrastructure.
Gov.must install every 50 km an EV charging station.

Buyed Tiago ev xz+ before 9 weeks .
Very pleasant driving dynamics.
180 km milage mostly on highway ,with ac if used upto 10 %.
Distance to empty is very vague ,can mislead .
Plastic fitting is not upto mark ,charger is very good but port is frustrating.
Saves a lot money.
Not to visit petrol pump with queues is bliss.
I heard there being no EV specific salespersons in showrooms on this channel. Venkatramana motors in Hyderabad did have specific team with a lead only for EVs

Any online link for curtain used in this car? Also, the neembu chilli looks cool? Is it original?
There should be a checklist for battery operated vehicles to troubleshoot the issues to make sure that minor issues are sorted out in time and quickly. Like what all connectors are required to be connected for some essential function to operate. The customer should know what connector is located where in the car under the hood. This way the fix should be a DIY, but only in Low Tension circuits, not the High Tension circuits.
Only major issues should be attended to

Is headlight switch allowed? The car has projector halogen for top and 2nd top model, are we allowed to switch to led inside projector ?
No. That will “tamper” with electronics. Speak to your dealer.

If you don't have black money, EV 4 wheelers are not for you. Being a E-Verito (2018 make) owner I am saying this. Reasons:
1) Govt imposed 15/10 years of scrap rule for ICE, manufacturers set no support rule of 5 years (max) for EV cars. Any issues you face after 3 to 4 years, you will start seeing ignorance.
2) EV charging stations do not mean your car can be charged, DC001 does not have enough infra vs CCS. The story does not end here as CCS will not remain forever, once Govt will make XYZ as new standard, CCS port at the car can't be upgraded to XYZ and the same I faced when asked for upgrading the port DC001 to CCS. That makes sense to M&M as otherwise they sell new vehicles.
My conclusion: EVs are not to be bought with hard earned money unless we see 70% of cars on the road are EVs. Then only you will get a road side garage service EVs, manufacturers will face competition of service.....
The current environment of continuous development in Technology can make your car obsolete much before the manufacturer's warranty/guarantee is over.

Someone plz clear my doubt.
The current EVs may become obsolete in half a decade. Companies say when the time of battery replacement comes say after 8 yrs or 10 yrs.. would the manufacturers still be making the batteries that are being used today 10yrs down the line. Or could it so happen that the future batteries can be retrofitted into current generation cars??
If only cells are going to be changed not the whole pack as suggested by many, then how big of a question mark will be there on the integrity of the pack after the reassembly with new cells

they pay 50 to 60 % according to ur insurance
I really appreciate the owner of the car. Tata's QA team should improve before rolling out the car. Tata should prioritize the first car owner as they will have more excitement.
If tata Tiago ev don't charge take out connector 2 ,3 times and try, then it is seen to start charging
Rightly said, vehicle software leaves much to be desired and the app owners wash their hands off.
This technology transformation is yet to mature in India
You can blame Mahindra(for destroying what Reva did for a decade) and Indian govt(for not promoting EVs and their eco system early on) for this regression !!
