In old times Kings would sent their sons to Gurukul once they are of 7 yr old. Child lives their with teachers learn, eat, sleep etc. Even in Mahabharat all princes were sent to Gurukul of Guru Dronacharya.
Osho did not even remotely mean Gurukul. In Gurukul, Gurus never encouraged guys to have multiple partners. Brahmacharya was practiced. But Osho is against Brahmacharya / Celibacy. Clearly he is against it.

@@freeBalochistan-n7l Gurukul is primarily an ancient boarding type school of our culture. Whether someone should marry or marry multiple times or remain unmarried was not discussed in Gurukul. That has always been voluntary in our culture, no one used to promote it. Such a practice was more common among Brahmins than Kshatriyas as Kshatriyas had to do multiple marriages for political reasons during "that time".
Both Brahmacharya and Grahasti (married life) are classified as tapasya in scriptures and you cannot force or put a soft influence on someone to do either.
Either of these tapasyas have to be done purely through an individual's own ichha-shakti. Forcing obviously is not good but soft influence was also considered a weak factor to start a tapasya as it was considered equivalent to only getting temporarily attracted to the idea rather than falling in love with the process and tapasya is all about highly focused process. Btw living and leading a good life also comes under tapasya only as per scriptures.

Philosphy of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita is a million times better than this Osho's demonic philosophy. Free sex outside of marriage is considered adharma in Hinduism and will directly lead you to hell.

Osho is a hit and miss. Some of his ideas may seem very radical but it makes sense in a grander scheme of things. Some things he says is pure ideocracy. He is very interesting to listen regardless. I have bought a lot of his audiobooks, although I don't agree with him on many things, he gives you new ideas that you may never thought of.
