No, once two candidates reach the national election level, they've both been thoroughly vetted and stamped as perfect little pawns. The powers that be don't care which one wins, because by then it's just a choice between two bought-and-sold pedigree puppets. Remember that study that came out in the nineties showing that ALL serious presidential candidates come from the same European royal bloodlines, and whoever had the most of the right blood would win, 100% of the time? People understood that that meant the outcomes of elections are controlled, but they seemed to have missed the point that even the losing candidates were also perfectly acceptable to the parasites. I think they consider the runner-up to be a spare in case something unforeseen takes out the chosen winner.

Just for a difference in viewpoint: I thought America lost it after the Kennedy assassination, and the removal of prayer from schools. My parents thought the US lost her humanity after WW2, when America joined the business world. We were never the same. God bless!

Firstly, I'm apolitical, so I never have a horse in the race. Generally speaking, one politician sucks as badly as the next, as far as I'm concerned. Although, there are a few exceptions from time-to-time. Currently, Thomas Massie from Kentucky is most notable. I bet most people didn't know that Nixon was the most popular POTUS in US history. Nixon, like JFK, wasn't liked by a relatively tiny group however, so he had to go. His VP, Spiro Agnew, also found himself with 'legal issues,' which is a common tactic they use. Agnew, it was believed, was going to be even more popular than Nixon. Agnew was also forced to resign. As master BBQ grilling expert and US Senator Chuckie Schumer once said, _"Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."_ These people are somewhat like a herd of junior high school 'mean girls.' With one exception; for these people there is absolutely *NOTHING* that is off-limits. Nothing is too sleazy. Nothing too evil, and nothing too illegal or unconstitutional. Congressman James Traficant also ran afoul of the group, and it didn't end well for him, either. Traficant also had legal problems, and even did time in prison and died after being released, in what was called a "freak accident" on his family farm in Ohio. Traficant did something one absolutely doesn't do as a politician, he spoke the truth on national TV, and about _that_ group. Writer Michael Collins Piper documented it well in his book - 'Target: Traficant, The Untold Story.' Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney also wound up in the crosshairs of said group, and at one point found herself in an Izzie-Rael jail. McKinney, as some may remember, exposed the fact that US Congress members were expected to sign a pledge to that other country / those people. A tiny country in the Middle East with strangely immense power. I don't remember his name, but there was also one other congressman that refused to sign the pledge. He said that even though polls showed he was all but guaranteed to win his next election, a high dollar smear campaign was launched against him, and he watched his poll numbers steadily decline, and he lost the election. He said the TV ads that were ran implied that he was somehow linked to 9/11, or had prior knowledge. I don't remember the specifics. The situation in D.C. isn't repairable. It's so disgustingly corrupt and downright evil that the only chance would be to totally dismantle it and start over. Then, we may get a few good years before it wound up just as bad as it is now. We are talking about a system operated by severely flawed humans, after-all.
I'm old enough (unfortunately) to remember Nixon resigning on live TV. I was a teen and knew nothing about politics. In hindsight, at least there was a shred of credibility left in leadership....times long gone.

Congressman James Traficant also ran afoul of the group, and it didn't end well for him, either. Traficant also had legal problems, and even did time in prison and died after being released, in what was called a "freak accident" on his family farm in Ohio. Traficant did something one absolutely doesn't do as a politician, he spoke the truth on national TV, and about _that_ group. Writer Michael Collins Piper documented it well in his book - 'Target: Traficant, The Untold Story.'
Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney also wound up in the crosshairs of said group, and at one point found herself in an Izzie-Rael jail. McKinney, as some may remember, exposed the fact that US Congress members were expected to sign a pledge to that other country / those people. A tiny country in the Middle East with strangely immense power.
I don't remember his name, but there was also one other congressman that refused to sign the pledge. He said that even though polls showed he was all but guaranteed to win his next election, a high dollar smear campaign was launched against him, and he watched his poll numbers steadily decline, and he lost the election. He said the TV ads that were ran implied that he was somehow linked to 9/11, or had prior knowledge. I don't remember the specifics.
The situation in D.C. isn't repairable. It's so disgustingly corrupt and downright evil that the only chance would be to totally dismantle it and start over. Then, we may get a few good years before it wound up just as bad as it is now. We are talking about a system operated by severely flawed humans, after-all.

I'm old enough (unfortunately) to remember Nixon resigning on live TV. I was a teen and knew nothing about politics. In hindsight, at least there was a shred of credibility left in leadership....times long gone.

That quote of his about the grove changed my opinion about Nixon and made me realize that it was the media who had made me see him as a bad guy. He also basically saved Israel with a single phone call.

I like the theory that Nixon knew some facts about Allan Dulles from WW2 and leveraged that to get his foot in the door. Watergate was Dulles’ ultimate payback.
