We have used temu for a lot of things! My 10 year old has some dresses from there that are mid calf and are perfect for year around. I have used a few sets of kindergarten/first grade books from there for my oldest son. They were berenstain bears and little critters. My husband has ordered a guitar accessory from there and uses it regularly. We also have bought some cute toys for christmas from there!
I LOVE Temu! My favorite item I got recently was a pair of denim overalls. So cute. I love the clothes and shoes!!! Just gotta figure out what your “oriental” size is! I got the overalls in 5x because I like them big but I am normally a 4x with Temu. I am a 2x top and lg bottom in the US.
Corn tortillas are easier though 😂 for corn tortillas, no bubbles usually form. I'm sorry for all the long comments! We also use our tortilla press to form burgers and to make homemade empanadas. Empanada dough made from flour has more moisture so you shouldn't have to roll them out like tortillas.
We have a tortilla press too! The one you have is really for corn tortillas. You can buy instant masa at the store and mix it with water and salt according to the package directions on the masa. Cook them on a skillet on medium for about 30 seconds to 1 minute per side. The first ones will take longer (kinda like pancakes). The dough ball size you used for the first press (walnut size) is perfect. Line the press with a quart sizes ziplock bag that has been cut on the sides and on top, leaving one side uncut. You can use the cut bag over and over again. If your family prefers flour tortillas, use the same size dough ball (walnut), and use the press to get you started then finish rolling it as thin as you can on a lightly floured surface. Cook like you would corn tortillas. You know you have done it right if bubbles form seconds after putting the flour tortilla on the skillet.
Please research what Temu is. Temu is a CCP organization. China is not our friend nor do they have America’s welfare in mind. I love your channel. I also cannot support a channel that promotes China in any way. I do love you, Lori. I’m assuming you simply aren’t aware of who you your holding hands with.
Well, i completely understand your concerns and I have felt them as well. I have addressed my approach on this issue in my previous video. I had the same reservations about Temu as you have mentioned. I thought long and hard about it and realized that as long as our economy is tied so closely to China’s, that there is little use in me trying to avoid Chinese companies. I do buy from dollar tree and Amazon, which I feel are in the same situation. I appreciate your care and concern about my channel. It means a lot to me. I hope you can understand my reasonings and at least stay around for my other content. Much love to you, friend. ❤️, Lori
My intent is certainly not to do that, but instead to share some savings tips with my viewers. I would love to buy all American made products but it is almost impossible as things are right now.
I am really surprised that you would support and partner with such an organization. They thrive on forced labour and data harvesting. Seems very opposite your family’s values.
I didn’t know anything about forced labor except for the common Chinese practices, so I certainly would be interested in more info on that. As far as i know they are a company facilitates other sellers to reach buyers. As I have previously mentioned, I don’t see any difference between buying from Temu and Amazon or dollar tree or Walmart since so many of the available products in our economy are manufactured in China. I certainly would love to have the opportunity to support only companies that do everything the way I think is best, but I am not financially in that position, so I am just trying to help my viewers find good deals on gift ideas for their families. I certainly do not want any one to think that I support anyone being mistreated. I hope you can understand my reasons for the video. ❤️

Yay! Yeah we just gonna have to ignore the sizes if we want the temu stuff to fit 😂

Perfect!!!! Thank you!!!!
I could definitely use the stove one you showed. Please tell me what it was called again.
All the items are linked in the description! You can find it there ❤️
Put some parchment down for the press to help with sticking. Although a thumbs down product it looks like you could make peta bread
Good idea! I was thinking there’s something I could use it for!
made your dough thinner.
So if I thin the dough it will work?????? Yay!!

If I buy Temu, I use a prepaid card. Some of the stuff they sell is terrible. SO BUYER BEWARE!!
That’s a really good idea! A prepaid card can avoid a lot of troubles!!!
I hope you dont shop at any store other than local businesses then ...... hardly anything is made in the United states lol
Love your channel but your are filling the Chinese pockets. That’s not good.
