Very nice! I’ll have to contend with nosy horses as well when I build mine.

I love horses so this would be really useful for the saddle. ❤️❤️

I find the overhang of the rail past the post is an accident waiting to happen. Lead ropes can get hung up on it and some horses DONT always stand tied very well! It should be tied short to begin with, but some horses will go over to the side, the rope can drop under that over hanging rail, and the horse thinks it has a certain amount of length already. As it tries to resume it’s prior established rope length, and the rope is Shorter because it’s caught up Under the rail, it can really freak out some horses! It spooks them suddenly because their rope is shorter!
Also Riding or leading a horse CLOSE by this rail that’s sticking OUT, can snag a stirrup or rigging on your horse just walking past it!
I’d STRONGLY RECOMMEND to saw OFF the ends of your rail boards after securing them to the posts! I do like the idea of using those rail boards you chose, though! It’s a much nicer holder for resting any saddle on, with the corners to hold it from slipping or getting bumped off onto the ground! ❤️🙏

Both legit concerns and removing the ends would remove the risk so therefore a safer option but horses schooled to give to pressure would probably be fine. Riding in uncontrolled environments there is always the risk of stirrups or riggings getting snagged so therefore again a schooled horse should be fine. Personally, I built mine without the ends for safety and also so I didn't have the aggravation of anything getting hung up at the ends.
The proximity of the hitching rail to the panels and within reach of the horses is what I noticed would be a concern for me ha.
Blah blah blah aside, I love that she took the time to share her build. Mine works great.

@@WYO_Cowboy_JoeGood point, I get that but in her build a tie ring bolt is attached to the post which is used to tie up to not the rail so that situation doesn't apply here. I would be apprehensive to tie to just the boards as she also mentioned.
