Thank you so much! The positioning of the baby’s bottom and legs was a key idea that was not explained in the instructions. Without you, some mothers and babies would stay at home and miss out on an adventure or part of their development! 🙏
Any tips for petite parents? I have the Omni Breeze and just can’t seem to get it comfortable! It’s especially an issue with the baby facing out- her head is high up and in front of my face. Thanks!
Great question! This might be a bit tricky to give specific advice without seeing exactly what's going on. You can send a picture showing front and back (feel free to edit to cover faces) via DM facebook.com/ParentingCentralAustralia or email mail@parentingcentral.com.au General tips though would be: 1. Position the waistband Lower down towards your hips. 2. Make sure baby is sitting deep into the "seat" in the carrier. (Watch 3-4mins in the video) You might find though petite parent + bigger baby + forward facing is a bit more difficult to make the proportions work..Back carrying can be a good alternative to have baby face forward because you essentially have a bit more space on your back compared to your front. Just as a thought to add in.
Hi Mayra, great question. I know it can be a bit confusing, and also when you're looking at them forward facing it does look a bit strange in the wide leg position. This is the recommendation from the Hip Dysplasia Institute: "The healthiest position for the hips is for the hips to fall or spread (naturally) apart to the side, with the thighs supported and the hips and knees bent." There's a great visual guide on this page hipdysplasia.org/baby-carriers-other-equipment/ While it shows an inward-facing position, in my opinion the Ergobaby Omni range is the best baby carrier to achieve this optimal positioning while forward facing. I've made a video talking about how the Ergobaby Omni does this and comparing to a couple of other carriers - ua-cam.com/video/2Rnmn46JwGE/v-deo.html I hope that helps - let me know if you have any other questions!
Sorry this video didn't only address what you wanted to hear. What are you struggling with specifically with forward facing and I can see what I can put together for you. - Rachel

Ergo claims that it may help prevent hip dysplasia and the natural M shape it makes is better
It might not prevent hip dysplasia exactly but the M position is the ideal position for their hips. ☺️
Dissapointing amount of talking, too many opinions and no clear instructions. In the meantime the baby is screaming in the background!!!
