I have been watching a few other channels playing this game and found your attention to detail is why I love your channel. Other channels are all over the place and make things over the top and usually don't work example "Overflowing trash and Recycling plant and Burn location with 10 + Large Ash storages with so many trucks the obvious traffic Jam happens. The goal of Keep it simple Stupid or (KISS), seems to be a great skill for this game.
I love how time flies by in this game. Also you did quite a lot. I had to smile when you said "own power situation for your automotive park" I work in automotive. We could draw 4x16MW, and are currently doubleing the transformer. Would be an utter nightmare in this game. But to be fair we didn't had that consumption in 1986.
57:25 - an hour to make “some” progress is why I like this game and Satisfactory, you’ve gotta think of everything you want to do but something is always forgotten. Another enjoyable episode!
Maybe somebody should tell Peter that yellow distance lines from electric substation should get opacity going 0-100 percent so you can see where you place substation :) ?
I don't know how prevalent above ground power lines were in mid-to-late 1900s Soviet Bloc residential areas, but above ground powers in residential areas are far from unrealistic or unheard of in general. I grew up in a smaller town where pretty much all the lines were above ground, and in the urban area I'm in now, I pass some above ground lines daily. Honestly, I'd rather not give the my municipality yet another reason to tear up the roads and sidewalks to get at something underground when it inevitably needs maintenance.

You could probably get away with one power line...
I really like the look of your cities. They've got their own style. I'd add more details so there are places to go near the houses.
