How do I reference groups(dashboard pages) when I want to move information around and also navigation if I want to create a button to trigger a navigation without using the dashboard nav
Hi there! Great question. To reference groups (dashboard pages) in Bubble, you can use unique IDs or custom states. For moving information around, consider setting up custom states at the page level that store the necessary data. You can then reference these states from any group or element on your page. Regarding navigation without using the dashboard nav, you can create buttons that trigger workflows. Each button's workflow can be set to 'Display data in a group' or 'Show/hide an element' to navigate between different groups (representing pages) on your dashboard. This method gives you the flexibility to control navigation without relying on the standard dashboard navigation. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
Thank you for the feedback, however not all the pages (custom state groups) will hold the same data. Unless there is a way to reference the data in the dashboard pages from the page level.@@abmodi_ai
@@steve_franc That's right, not all pages will hold the same data. However, you can use URL parameters to pass the data and set the workflow triggers based on the data.
