The thing about these old legends is they were really grounded and attached to ground reality, they did not let the star factor get to thier heads! Mukri ji is a legend!

Before 7 days of his demise, i and my Mother were fortunate to meet him in ICU of Lilavati Hopital. He was very humble and polite to us. I still remember the smile on his face even in icu.

They were schoolmates together in the past. Subsequently, in career spanning 50 years, he acted in over 600 films.[3][2] Mukri, with his toothless smile, diminutive stature and perfect humour timing amused the audiences in more than 600 films, in over six decades in Bollywood.[4] His notable films are Mother India (1957), Sharabi (1984), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), Laawaris (1981), Bombay to Goa (1972), Gopi (1970), Kohinoor (1960) and many more.
What a great intertainer of his times all were very good and dedicated to their profition .Mahmood Jonny walker Dumal and Mohan CHOTI.Although I stop watching movies but still missed them.
Not forgetting Sunder, Agha and Om Prakash, of course. All these people were greatly liked and admired. They were the entertainers of the day. They were all good in their own way.
Mukri sahab never missed mentioning something or the other about his dear friend , Dilip Kumar sahab ; so much truthfulness & purity in their camaraderie which was even seen in the films they work together . I have deep & high regards for him as well as for Mukri sahab . Such people are needed today . I love the personality of Dilip sahab . A rushed interview. Mukriji is a gem of hindi cinema. He came across as an honest ,well spoken, decent person who had a wealth of information and stories to tell about the industry but he wasn't given the time to expand or explain in greater depths. However, he looked well and hope he continues to be part of the industry.
