Had a 2000 with the magnum v6. I loved that truck. These are great pickups. Daily driver, work truck, or just having fun it is a great truck. That you found one in such good shape is amazing.
I have an 01 quad cab 4.7 v8. Paid $1600.00 for it. Has 189k miles on it. I've invested about $9k into it ( including the purchase price ). About the only things I haven't touched yet in repairs are the engine and rear axle. Good luck finding rims. Everytime I go to a rim place, they say they don't make them. I find them online all the time, just haven't pulled the trigger. Ebay, amazon, wish, and walmart.com, are were you'll find most of your accessories like: bull bars, tonneau covers ( got one for $110.00 of wish, nothing fancy, but pilot brand ), plastic piece like bumper parts, and trailer hitches. You have a beautiful truck. Good luck.
Dakota’s are decent trucks, I had the body style before that one. My old man had 3 over the years, he liked the size. Last one he bought special order, had heavy duty suspension, 6 ply tires, 4.7 V8 with a locking rear end.
Oh man that’s nice... they are good trucks this one was clean and with dodge reputation on paint and rust . This one was beyond my Expectations very clean 👌🏾👌🏾
Get you a 3” front leveling kit & some 2” rear lift shackles ($200). Rear blocks won’t work, springs are under the axle. Probably run like a 31-32” tall tire. You might be able to run newer style factory 1500 20” takeoff, I think those are 6 lug, you can always get wheel spacers if you need more offset.
