What a blessing ❤. Earlier this year the Lord used AncestryDNA to reveal my real father to me. Unfortunately, he passed away in 1987 however I’m thankful for the closure the Lord has provided ❤
omg i’m 33 and for years I said I would take the test but I never have…. I don’t know if it was fear of finding out something horrible… but my mom never gives me a clear answer
my mom just told me the man I thought was my dad for the past 25 years isn't my real dad. i grew up thinking I was fully Liberian and bassa by tribe and I grew up proud asf as a Liberian girl my whole life just to find out I'm a igbo Nigerian girl and its been so hard to process and I've been going through it and trying to take it as easy as possible its been a week so far still don't know what I'm gonna do he doesn't know I exisit and she has no idea where he is but thank you soo for sharing your experience
I am experiencing the same thing. The man I grew up thinking is my dad died at 8 with my mother. I grew up thinking I am an orphan and just last week I met my biological father for the first time and it's so weird for me and I have so many mixed emotions and it's complicated because he is married and his wife is arguing with him about him reaching out to me. I haven't met his family members and I do not know when this nightmare will be over.😭
Congratulations on finding your dad. Take your time, find a support group or go to therapy. You are not responsible for anyone feelings on this new journey.
Hello, I met my biological dad at 58. I watched your video and wondered whether your mom ever talked to you about your bio dad? I understand if you can’t share. My mom did not and went to her grave with the secret. I am praying that once I post my story, it can evolve into how secrets (in relation to knowing our bio parent) can hurt the child and their self esteem. The truth is always freeing. I am happy you met your dad.
I was going to ask the same question. Has her mother ever talked to her about it and explained to her who he was. My mom didn't, and I found out his name when I was 30 from an older cousin. Sadly, my mom passed in March of last year. Maybe I'll take a test and find out for sure.
@@nomessnostress ahhh not yet. I had a person that was going to record and edit for me but they never followed through. Thanks for asking you just motivated me to find someone else to help me 😍
Came across your videos and I am happy that you got to meet your dad. I’m currently going thru the same thing, my son found an uncle. My son reached out thru Ancestry but no answer. I reached out thru FB and still no answer. It’s been 2 months but I’m still hoping. Praying leaving it up to God.

I am happy you found your dad. Sadly, some people don’t understand. His blood flows through your body. I pray it all works out for you 😊

Yes, this is why mandatory paternity test are becoming reality when children are born now. It saves a lot of pain down the road...
