I wonder why it was called a Duett? Assuming that means the same thing as it does in English. They were sold in the USA, although never in the same quantities as the Volvo sedans that looked like 1946-'48 Fords.
The name Duett came about because Volvo claimed in its advertising that the car was actually two cars in one - a work tool during the day and a family car in the evenings and at weekends.
Take a tequila shot everytime they say "Volvo Duett".
