Cabbage and bacon is always such a great combination. Love this with Pork.

Nice video !!! I do a similar recipe but I brown the chops in the bacon fat. I also add chopped onion, celery, some brown sugar, and two cans of Italian style tomatoes rather than the broth !!!

That sounds great! I'll give it a try some time!

Hi Scott that looks delicious, one of my favourites is “bubble and squeak “, fried bacon with boiled cabbage and boiled potatoes done in a skillet, it would probably be better in the ninja foodi. Thanks for this video

I would have used a skillet since no time was saved using the Foodie in this example, thanks for sharing the idea. I own this Foodie device for dramatic decrease in frozen meat cook time as well as the convection heat air function to crisp/darken meat. Still have not tried dehydration yet.

Did you not lower the lid at any time?

You cannot close the lid while on the sear / sauté mode. Foodi will beep and give a warning. The only way would be to stop the sear / sauté and switch to air fry, broil or bake roast. Thank you very much for watching! Please consider hitting the subscribe button. I would appreciate it 😀

Looks great. Ninja Foodi is coming out with new products. I'm interested in their new 5qt but it doesn't have a broil feature. Do you use your broil often?

I just used broil last night. mostly I just use it on steaks or chops. The element sits so close to the food when using the rack that bake/roast practically does the same as broil but just adds some additional heat from below.
