Yikes, ending a business class flight with a long walk to the transfers PLUS taking the bus to the plane is a big no-no. I may have to rethink booking QR for my next flight to Cebu.
You are right that it is sad you did not get free lounge acces in Cebu and Doha despite your upgrading. ( no idea about the status if the lounges at the moment of covid) And again silly for the payment for internet. I assume bidding would be at least 300$ a stretch. It succeeded with Air Serbia for 75$ - with lounge acces at Brussels ánd Belgrade. But it failed with Saudi Air, each time business was full.
That depends on the date you upgrade when its far away from your flight date it will a lil low but the nearer you are from your flight it will be expensive
