  • We hope everyone is having an amazing day! I can't believe we've had our CT4-V for 1 year! We just wanted to bring everyone a review of how the first year has been with our CT4-V. Honestly, we are very happy with this car, it is the perfect daily driver with how comfortable it is, the All-Wheel Drive System is great in the snow and the different driving modes really transform the car.

    I have a ct4 v aswell the only time I have an issue is when I see a Blackwing lol. Other then that its great i have the diamond tri coat black and have blacked out everything but left the red blue and gold caddy colors. Also have a wing and front splitter. Safe travels from Texas.

      Lol. You made a great decision getting the diamond tri coat black, it looks so aggressive on the CT4V. Safe travels.

    Glad to know about watching the run flat tires. My New Year started off with my dealer telling me my order had finally been given an allocation. (8 months waiting.) Production is set for the week of Feb 12th, and they are hoping for delivery the end of March. Nice to hear your reviews.

      Thank you! I know that feeling lol. For the WRX I had before this car I had to wait around 8 months too. Your car will be here before you know it! You will absolutely love this car.

    I’ve opted out of the sunroof as well. Don’t regret it. Saves 300lbs. I also blacked out the orange side markers on mine. Highly recommend.

      Yeah me too. I love the weight reduction factor. I should black out my side markers as well. Did you just put a piece of dark tint over them?

    So I'm thinking about financing, would leasing be a better option for a V, I'm curious. Since the premium Luxury has the same engine and interior, tech as yours it looks like. The exterior is sportier. But between the two builds there's a 10k difference for wheels and exterior packages and you still have to add navi, cold weather, tech, etc. 51500 to 61100 seems like a big step. I'd be happy with either but 1200 per month for 48 months finance and 688 a month lease is a huge difference. Just a thought. If anyone cares to reply.

      Leasing vs financing comes down to driving habits (is annual maximum mileage realistic for you) and financial situation.
      I’ve done both, leased and financed. While I didn’t love having no downpayment or equity at end of lease, I can see leasing appealing to get into (leasing) a new vehicle every 3 years.
      I would put your salesman to work have him run a complete breakdown of both scenarios, pay attention to the interest rate offered on both and term length which impacts payment.

    i keep seeing these for sale with 10 owners and only 20k miles, is there a reason everyone’s selling them right after purchase

    I want a 2025 CT4, maybe a V. I don't want a sunroof either.

      @@TwiinsGarage - I figure I might was well hold out for the refresh to get updated bling running lights/turn signals and bigger screen in the interior. Kinda crazy because I have a lot of trepidation about those screens. I would actually prefer old-school instrumentation. It seems like they're making throwaway cars now since I'm guessing in 10 years it'll be cost prohibitive to fix stuff like that. But everyone else is doing it too, and maybe a big screen isn't that much worse in that regard than a smaller one. It is a unique RWD sedan so what the hell.

    • @TwiinsGarage
      @TwiinsGarage  6 місяців тому +1

      @@5metoo Yeah I totally agree! I saw the refresh 2025 in person and it looks incredible. I love how unique the car is as well.

      Was the ct4v refreshed for 25? What were the exterior and interior changes? Where did you see it?

    • @5metoo
      @5metoo 6 місяців тому +1

      @@GJCcontent - I don't think the 2025 CT4 been demoed anywhere, but the 2024 XT4 did get a mid-cycle refresh and the 2025 Cadillac CT5 refresh has been shown publicly. I think he may have been referring to one of those. I assume the upcoming CT4 mid-cycle refresh will be similar with upgraded lights/turn signals and front fascia and larger screen in the dash as the most obvious things.

    What winter tires do you have? Would you recommend them?

    • @TwiinsGarage
      @TwiinsGarage  7 місяців тому +2

      I have Kumho wintercraft tires on it right now. I haven’t had any issues with them and find them to be okay. I would recommend the Bridgestone blizzak WS90 tires, I had them on my previous car and they’re really good.

    Wait till you get to 50k Miles, this thing just craps out for me. Mine is now at 60k and only been serviced through the dealer under warranty I’ve started to have major boost issues. Dealer replaced turbo, air filter, and some gaskets and still having a 6psi drip and almost 2seconds drip in 0-60 and the dealer can’t even figure out why because there is no codes. Before 50k never had an issue

    • @TwiinsGarage
      @TwiinsGarage  4 місяці тому

      Oh wow, that’s terrible. I’ve still got a long way to go before I hit 60k but hopefully I’ll have better luck and no issues.

    Does adding the wiring at the top of the dashboard for your camera or radar detector void the warranty?
