Nice review, you absolutely nailed it. I have a 2021 CT4V 2.7 RWD and handling is first rate. I picked this combination over the blackwing for a few reasons: speed traps everywhere in my area, it is my daily driver even during winter time and save weight for a more nimble handling. I picked the RWD over the AWD to save weight and have the magnetic ride control.
@@sokratzmmf Indeed ! And looks like the CT4 will be phased out this year, if it's the case my next car will most likely be a CT5 2.0T Sport RWD with the magnetic ride package and I will put UHP summer tires, for the lightest combination for superior handling.
@@briansmith1452 It's amazing, I live up north with potential harsh winters (but not so much this year), with a good set of winter tires zero problem. The car is very comfy in tour mode despite its rather short wheelbase and in track mode it's amazing, stiff in corners but still decent comfort.
Awesome. Enjoy your new car. I just got my 2024 CT4-V on Thursday (April 11th).. Radiant Red Tintcoat, Satin Graphite wheels, black spoiler and Sangria interior (with most of all the other options). Woohoo
Damn if I hadn't already bought one of these I would have gone to get one after watching your review. Nothing but the facts and if you didn't like something you mentioned it and no sugarcoating. 👍
I love that you keep giving love to the CT4-V. It's such an overlooked vehicle. I would love to own one...a manual Blackwing is also really cool but I think this engine is actually more interesting?
Hey Will I’d definitely take the previously reviewed Blackwing for obvious reasons but to be fair this one isn’t too shabby either. Both are great vehicles!
Can you drive in track mode as a daily drive and still have safety features or is a lot of features turned of like traction control and blind spot monitoring
@@markj9544how often does that happen. Every vehicle that I have had in the last 20 years has has sun or moon roof. I have never had one break or leak
Wonder if the 25 will see a power update like the Silverado did. Seems odd a 30k 1/2 tons base engine is the more powerful version. Update the power and make the manual an option!
All I’m saying is a rwd 3.3tt top trim g70 is 49k. I do like the ct4v though and I’d argue the chassis is slightly better in the caddy. Dollar for dollar the genesis is a much better deal
Although you’re right about the Genesis also being a great option for the money, I personally don’t feel the Chassis being anywhere near as athletic feeling as the CT4. The Genesis makes a lot more power, but in terms of actual acceleration they’re actually surprisingly similar. Definitely check out both vehicles if you’re looking for a relatively inexpensive sports sedan!
I have to disagree. For $46k, the CT4-V has a better chassis, suspension, steering, performance features(V mode/Track mode/Competitive mode/PTM options). The CT4-V is only a bit slower than a G70, but is superior in all other performance aspects.
The 3.3 g70 is definitely a cross shop and solid value. In the end, it alpha chassis, magnetic ride, and the superior new 10 speed tips it to cadillac for me. If only this had a better engine like an inline 6 like bmw.
Performance bargain😂😂? Almost 50 grand for a base model and only has 325 horsepower but it’s a bargain? People have to stop trying to justify these crazy prices.
I can’t believe that i’d actually consider one of these. I don’t know if it’s your excellent review or that I’m getting really freaking old.
Lol it’s not an old man’s car by any means anymore! Thanks Jeff!! 👍🏼

Great point about speed traps. I'm realizing more horsepower isn't always great for daily driving.

How is the magnetic ride control? I’m looking for AWD because i get nice winters but I also want to experience the magnetic ride control

@@alexh5343 thank you!!
Just bought mine. Love it.
Black on black. 2024 ct4v with the sun and or moon roof.

Glad you like it! It’s definitely a solid engine we’re seeing it more and more throughout GM’s lineup 👍🏼

Fair enough Scott! Both are a ton of fun with a lot of luxury for the money 👍🏼

I wish GM would have actually marketed these things. I absolutely love mine.
I'm looking to buy 24' Cadillac CT4-V sedan.
Amazing review bro.
Glad you liked it! 👍🏼
Odd but good . My 24' Sport 2.0 with the Onyx Package has 19' wheels and run flat tires and of course blue calipers to match the key fob.
10:02 slow down turbo did you say "your knee will hit the gear selector control" 🤔🫣
Don’t some v models have a digital screen
Only missing one option; gotta have my power sunroof/moonroof 🌞
Definitely agree there
im the opposite. i prefer to stay away from them. They can be a nightmare if they start to leak/break, etc.

The only con about my CT4 is that being 6'4" and being 68', it is tough getting in and out of the car.

I'm not sure we're gonna see a 25 version :(.
You have to keep in mind that the CT4-V weights around 1200 pounds lighter then the Silverado.

Not a fan of all the tech, it’s a bit overkill. Also don’t love how the break pedal sits a bit too high for a sports sedan.

At 40k it's a above average deal, at best.
Compared to this car, I have a sun/moon roof.
gott'a up their game..... plain Jane
This thing says nothing premium too me boring with that tiny screen its even shaped stupid 😂😂
You seem to favor gadgets over chassis substance. This car is intended for those who put driving quality above all else
