@@heathens2867 Unfortunately not, I also purchased the dell sound bar SB521A thinking this would work however as the monitor has no sound driver this was a dead end, in the end I had to purchase the Dell s2721h with built in speaks perfect size when you add a Chromecast to it.

I have a portable monitor, and it has no Headphone jack, a USB C to auxiliary port adapter doesn't work, there is no Bluetooth, and when I plug in my Xbox and try connecting a speaker up to it while my monitor displays the picture doesn't work either. There's only 1 option that might work, and it's an HDMI to female HDMI and Auxiliary port out device I found on Amazon. I'm just asking myself if I want to go through the hassle of trying to figure out something that might work, only to be let down and disappointed again, or do I just send my monitor back and buy a cheaper one that doesn't have as good of display quality, but at least has a built in headphone jack.
Hello Ceesparxxx , I having the same problem. Dell 27inch monitor 1hdmi ( I used for Chromecast) and 1 usb c ( tried with a ctype to aux , doesn't work). What was your final solution with these morden monitors with no 3.5 mm jack ?
@@Splashkandy hdmi audio extractor plugged into an external speaker through headphone jack. Other than that, there is no solution unfortunately. At least none that I have been able to find.
