Another complete banger of a video and something I once again understand and appreciate on a personal level. My 'Crusher' moment so to speak happened quite a long time ago - back when I only had three six star operators on my account and had finally managed to pull Leonhardt who was one of the sole sources of arts damage for an aspiring maleknights account in a time before even Passenger's debuted. Even now, Splash Casters are spoken about as though they're all horrible, malformed operators not even worth spending any time on, but Leonhardt was so significant to me; his arts damage was significant compared to what my limited roster could put out, his s2 was fantastic and easily spammable, his lines and attitude were super fun and he was the other half to Ayerscarpe - a unit I tried desperately to get on his banner but couldn't quite manage to acquire. Even so, despite being surrounded by community opinions that Leonhardt was a 'bad' operator, I felt like that wasn't true at all so I persisted. And really, that's genuinely been my experience with Arknights. A lot of people talk a whole lot of shit about operators and mechanics that they don't even care about interacting with. A lot of people treat and interact with Arknights as though it's a normal gacha game and like, hey, there's no reason not to - gacha certainly is a major component of how Arknights' game model works - but more than gacha and so much more than being a game built around trying to ultimately make its players interact with that gacha element, Arknights is just an exceptionally well created and well loved single-player strategy game. Because of the inherent competitiveness of the gacha space, because it trains its players so well to look for and isolate the most effective and therefore most cost efficient characters to pull for thereby fundamentally forcing players to look at units in a gacha pool as competing with each other for limited resources (i.e a player's money/time) people have missed out on appreciating so many gems hidden in the operator spaces of AK. A lot of people simply don't know how to have fun with Arknights because they view it primarily as a Gacha Game rather than just A Game that's theirs to personalise and connect with. And that's just been further encouraged by the type of content creators that were very prominent in Arknights in its earliest days. I'm very grateful to content creators like you, Kukkikaze, Rewrite Kuma, Eha, Hikari Kyu, Toburuo -- content creators who, more than anything, just approach the game from the perspective of wanting to have fun and who recognise that Arknights doesn't just create characters and content for some imagined bottom line in order to drive up profit. I'm just as grateful to content creators like khant, Kokokbeluk, pard, Dr Silvergun, Xairathan, Pen God and Tamastraycat for emphasising that 'being strong' in Arknights means something so much more than just having the biggest guns or the fanciest, shiniest new units. That Arknights is a game that rewards individuality and creativity just as much as it rewards optimising out all of the wrinkles in a strat and just tackling a problem with the path of least resistance. At the end of the day, Arknights is a game that thrives on problem solving and focuses more on giving players more fun tools to solve problems with than paths to ignore said problems entirely and I for one am just very thankful that it's becoming more and more en vogue in the community to be open and passionate about all the strange, cool and ultimately unique ways different Doctors choose to solve the problems Arknights places before us. Keep rocking on Crusher Guy. Your videos are definitely meaningful to me
How you feel about Crushers is exactly how I feel about Abjurers. And what you said about all the Crushers having similar personalities and such is the same with Abjurers as well.
Yeah that's what I noticed as well while watching where all the arbjurers are very gentle and or caring people where they have some kind of past regret due to a disaster (tsukinogi not being able to save her family from a catastrophe/ nine Colored deer being chased out as the scapegoat for a catastrophe) or action (Quercus being a ex Victoria soldier and her feeling like she lead her troop to their deaths / Silence and her involvement with the ifrit project ) but because of /despite this they still try to help as many people as they can. And the damaging part as well as the healing part of their kits showcase that. (Idk if my reading of them is actually correct its just my thoughts from what I can remember from stories or the op records)
This makes more sense. Crushers are straight up strong units, just hard to use in general content. I specifically like Hoederer. But, Abjurers are a class that needs more thinking to make them work. You need to find where this balance works perfectly. So, Even though I dislike Abjurers, I like that someone's making them work.
you've made me reconsider a lot of my views on what makes an operator "good" even when I never really bought into meta anyway. I think subclasses like duelist defenders and merchants and the wide range of unhealable units are also good examples of arknights not being afraid to make units that are difficult but rewarding to use instead of just straightforwardly powerful and the fact that after all these years the game is still constantly experimenting with new subclasses and gamemodes shows its commitment to remaining a strategy game before it is a gacha game
A lot of what you said resonated with my experience as a player. I didnt start playing akrnights because its a gacha, i started playing it because its a tower defense game. And I didnt stay here, playing it for 5 years, because of the waifus, but because its a really fun game!
nice vid. started ak last year, searched up a tier list, and never bothered with crushers until i found your channel. tried quartz and realized that crushers are actually pretty good in a lot of situations. thank you for giving me a newfound appreciation for characters and classes that may not be considered the greatest. (any opinions on coldshot?)
(Sorry in advance, English isn't my first language, so sorry if there are any grammar issues) Not really related to the video?(I don't know), but i reason that i love arknights so much is the freedom, pushing your favorite operators to their limits, and clearing a stage that makes you proud of what you did, and also be shocked by the cleaver solutions that other people did... When i started playing arknights, i have a guideline of sorts, no borrowing operators and no watching guides before i clear the stage (that i actually still hold up to this day except that one time with cc7 where i have a exam coming up so i just borrow a chen alter and risk 18 it) and there is that one time when i played a stage from(i think its the "who is real" one) and after i cleared the stage(with most of my operators dying in the proces) i wonder how other people might clear it, so i search up a low op, and was shock to find that there is a one op with phantom, which in retrospect isnt really that impressive, and i think that when i started really loving arknights's gameplay and started driving into the so called try hards(I dont know if thats how you spelll that) oh by the way, i currently play a niche that i called "roberta knights" which is using operators with the same artist as roberta(roberta penance firewisle lubercub nine-colored-deer and shu) to beat a stage, im currently trying to get a d15 run in is4 with only these 5 operators(yes 5 because shu isn't out yet in the tw(taiwan) server) but ive been playing this game for 3 or 4 years now, and not once have i ever feel like the gameplay is boring, arknights really is a interesting game to me, its hits all the right things for me, the story, the operators, the gameplay...and I love every second of it.
Wind Chimes was my first crusher and I thought she was some centurion variant (I saw the attacks all blocked enemies trait) and immediately built her to see what this new subclass was all about. Imagine my surprise when I found she was one-shotting hounds and I found she was pushing 1600 atk. I looked at her e2 and found she did not gain an additional block like centurions and kind of wrote her off because I felt I had things that did the same but better (e.g. an e2 60 Blaze). You helped me realize that these subclasses are fundamentally different. I was already familiar with hp based defense, Darkest Dungeon taught me a few things, and I knew that Franka's module was effective against some enemies as opposed to others because of that fact. I just didn't realize how to use the crusher subclass. In terms of playstyle, I stopped using casters consistently since I got Franka's module. I kept running into enemies that had a B for both defensive stats and just said 70% true damage is far more effective than reduced Arts damage. I only bring in casters for trust purposes to clear levels without using all the high-level operators or because I need multiple lanes covered.
I played arknights because of the pandemic, so I must say, thank you covid for recommending me this God loveable game (btw I like guardian and juggernaut defenders)
I started AK about a year ago and one of my first 5 stars was Wind Chimes. I lacked high-DPS guards in my early game team so I built her and she was very good. Ultimately, when I got to harder content, she ended up being too hard to keep alive with my relatively unbuilt squad and inexperience in the game, so I swapped her out for meta melee DPS units like Thorns and Mlynar when I got them. I think what makes Crushers such a joke in parts of the community is that there are so many other units who fill their role of doing big numbers of damage, but without being so susceptible to dying quickly and messing up the stage for you if you make a mistake. (I remember one time in my first time trying SSS where I deployed Wind Chimes to block a couple of enemies with low ATK but insanely fast ASPD. Cue instant regret.) Nevertheless I respect how you stand up for Crushers against the criticism, which I do think is unfair. From my perspective, their absurdly high ATK even when off-skill means they'll always have something to them that no other subclass has, and individual operator kits are very capable of making them as meta as any other class. Hoederer is a perfectly decent 6 star from what I've seen, while Ulpianus is busted even if you discount AH buffs and his self-healing talent. To bring my own Crusher story full circle, I pulled for Ulpianus and got him in 21 pulls, and he slotted immediately into my squad alongside plenty of meta units. I mostly use his S2 (S3 is better, of course, but needs the right use case to work) and often find that he's one-shotting enemies before they can damage him. And that makes sense, of course, given DPH is the Crusher's claim to fame. On the whole, I agree with you in that one's likes and dislikes in Arknights will ultimately depend on one's playstyle. I'm a completionist and so I've prioritised building units that can help me clear the hardest content I can manage (EX challenge modes, S stages, high risk CC) which has meant a meta focus. But now I'm able to do that, I will be starting to focus more on units/characters I enjoy, regardless of how strong or otherwise they are. The thing I like about Arknights is that any way of playing the game is perfectly valid; I don't think someone using Wis'adel to no-brain stages should be judged any more than someone challenging themselves with 'bad' or non-meta units. Let's not yuck someone else's yum and focus on enjoying the game the way we like it.
Wholesome video Bloops. I have a Nivmizzet commander deck buried in my closet somewhere that hasn't seen daylight in probably 6-8 years. Man of culture.
Great video! While watching it it made me think about why I like abjurers so much. My "Crushers" in a way, this unpopular subclass that people tend to dismiss outside of very select examples in very select scenarios IE: Quercus s2 and Silence alter s3. I feel like that a lot of people tend to dismiss them as a bad caster combined with a bad medic. I do like abjurers as the defensive buffing side to the Hexer's defense debuffs. Even the one people spout as the worst unit in Arknights (Tsukinogi) is useful in a lot ways people just fail to mention despite her bad uptimes. Her s1's mass invis reveal is really good when you need it (CC2 Underdawn/ that one icebreakers game )since her range is so big and her s2 while not the best burst healing tool is incredible on units that can't heal themselves, 36-41.6%(lvl 7-m3 without module, with lvl 3 mod its 44-50.6%) sanctuary + regen is nothing to scoff at even if its under 50% hp. It can very easily turn a clean 2 shot loosing battle into a clean 20 seconds of stall. They're a tool that allows for burst healing or support when you especially need it, since you're not always going to need or want a extra medic. However, because they're defensive focused and don't actively help with doing big damage people write them off as bad or irrelevant, and thus they're never even talked about outside of Tsukinogi bad jokes since nobody bothers to build them because they're the "bad" subclass with the bad abilities that don't work.
the crusher motto: big numbers go brrrrr now for the actual comment: You did definately open my eyes to this class. While I am relatively new to the game (about 3 months of playing) and have been blessed with the broken 6 stars since the start, I was told about this class being really underpowered, and I just went with it. However, the video of yours analyzing Hoederer and Ulpianus showed me that there was more to them than just being members of a bad subclass but rather a subclass that has huge potential with a non-ignorable drawback. Since then, I have been really insistant on using them myself, in the form of Ulpianus as a support unit. This guy is probably one of the most fun operators ive ever played with. He doesn't feel like a guard. He feels like an assassin, a mobility god, an unbreakable wall, and a boss deleter all in one. But you have to play him carefully and think about it. That's also why I like operators like Ela: Versatile, but they can only do one or two things at a time. Attempting to generalize their usage to everything at once won't get you far. But yeah, crushers can do what you want so long as you manage them well. Same goes for Hoederer, although I haven't been able to try him because no one puts him in support lol.
I think a sandbox game should have fun things to play with. When I started playing Arknights, they had an interest in hidden depths & experimenting. Refer to Myrrh and her, weapon thing. And yeah, Arknights has lots of better than random coincidences in how it evolved so far. As with Jaye, they do listen to community feedback.
Looks like it's a case of liking the same thing for different reasons. I enjoy Arknights's gameplay a lot, but the thing ive always liked about gachas is how the tools you get are randomized, making it that every player has a different way of tackling content. With a gameplay as interactive as Arknights it's even better, i love to see what strat some beginners come up with to tackle EX stages and such. For me the part where you struggle and have a lot to do are the best part in gacha. Where AK shined for me is that after this, you still have ways to have fun with experimental classes like Duelist Defenders, even after you acquired the big guns and achieved a good base setup, you still have the option to tackle content in weird ways and build these operators the community loves to clown on, until you realise they're pretty ok at worst, and very fun at best. But you can still blast through stages and not miss out on rewards if you're in a busy period of your life or just want to play something else. AK respects your time and your choices most of the time, and that's one of the many reasons why i stuck around. Also fuck off Gladiia is cool. Pick another operator if you want to make fun of coomers thank you. It's crazy how many content creators think they're original for hating on Abyssal Hunters while also mischaracterizing them as much as possible.
Crushers ended for me as a subclass with two 6stars within it. At this point all these words about having to understand crushers well to use them look very strange to me. They're the same unkillable guards with red buttons as plenty of other ops in the archetype, just with a few little quirks.
I'm thankful I found your videos because they inspired me to build and use units that I like despite not being meta, like Greyy alter, tuye, and underflow. Also now I always have ebenholz and I'm saving for hoederer lol.
I mean im still gonna use Wisadel. Watching her wipe the map is fun. Also she gets sent to the mines in RA2. Also Ulpanus is fun as hell with HP buffs in RA2. I can easily get him to 20k hp with his S2, food buff and CE S3 with her extra hp. Hes a big middle finger to Wandering fireboi shit boss.
Cheers to "no bad operators"! For me, it would definitely be the various casters that don't get as much love. Ebenholz has proven himself to some folks who understand how to use his nukes effectively, but I also still love ops like Carnelian, or Absinthe. It's very slow going for me as someone who is generally F2P, but I've been e2ing all my ops to experiment even more and to do fun things like the various IS modes with themed runs! Thanks for standing up for Crushers.
I got into Crushers in a funny way, during Reed Alters rerun i was somewhat new, and i really liked her story so i wanted to get her. A little bit before that i wrapped up Darknights memoir, i thought Hoederer was pretty cool in that event. I did a single pull, and got Hoederer. This made me really happy, and i liked his new design even more so since then he has never left my squad, i always use him.
I just wanted to say how refreshing it is to see someone that just posts their earnest thoughts on different operators. I remember searching for videos on crushers after learning about hoederer and since i found your video on it ive just enjoyed hearing someone discuss operators not a lot of others would. As much as i love this game, the meta side of the community is so prevalent when trying to research different units its frustrating, which only got worse after i had started building some 5 stars i always thought were cool but i was always too caught up my 6 stars to really focus on. I tried looking up wind chimes because i wanted to know how she could be used and got met with frostbyte immediately saying "Dont build this unit." and just a wall of comments flooded with ways to "fix" crushers that defeats the entire purpose of them. Obviously channels like Storn are always going to make people only care about the Brand New Boss Vaporiser for this bi monthly period and constantly make the same jokes about units who dare to not instantly kill everything and give you a million OP just for e2ing them, But i really appreciate having a channel to see discussion about operators like kirara and the crushers, especially since ive ended up loving hoederer so much that he hasnt left my squad since i got him.
Honestly, this kinda thing is why I've been trying to get the phalanx casters since I got Beeswax. Turns out I love it when a class that, in a normally fragile archetype like casters, just refuses to dies or denies a mechanic simply because they don't attack while offskill. A bunch of oddballs that I love
Hi Bloop. I've been mostly lurking around your channel and your story about starting Arknights and your experience with Magic the Gathering has touched me. I share these passions and I can be a bit of an MTG Johnny too. My latest project in Arknights has been to touch up my dedicated going blind squad. My team used to compromise of Mountain, Mudrock, Shu, Myrtle, Ines, Mlynar, Logos, Ptilopsis, Warfarin, Typhon , Thorns, and Exusiai. Incredibly strong operators, but bland. I didn't necessarily find the game too easy (smol brain), but this team didn't feel good to play. It had no obvious synergy or great crowd control. Just raw killing power and worse, I felt Exusiai has a lot of trouble dealing with normal enemies without Warfarin. I also rolled W alter. So if I felt that Exu and warfarin weren't good enough anymore, I switched them out for W alter and some other medic right? Nope! I gutted half the squad to play operators that I thought would be more fun or liked more. I switched out Mountain, Exusiai, Shu, Logos, Mlynar and Warfarin for Bagpipe, Saria, Eyja(caster), Silverash mod 3, Virtuosa and Pinecone. I'm much happier playing these operators now. Virtuosa has been absolutely clutch and I love the tempo of repeatably dropping Eyja/Silverash/Bagpipe to thin a crowd or remove elite enemies. Pinecone has also impressed me putting out consistent big girl damage at critical choke points. TLDR I love this game too and optimizing the game for maximizing my fun has made me happier.
As I certified Timmy with both cosume 100 hp per second and throw an anchor built, I'll definitely say they are extremely fun and also one if my favourite subclasses Mainly because the way I like to play is support based I feel so accomplished if I can make an operator shine because of the help of others, it's with I love Quibai And the Crushers are the best class to do any shenanigans because you can either cover their weaknesses and give then defense or ASPD or bost their strength further with atk or max hp buffs or just pop a nightingale and watch Mandragora do frostleaf damage 😂
I can't wait for Der Hodenverstummerlung to be released when Earthspirit Alter's event comes out, he was so cool in 'Orchestra of Obeisance'. It's pretty clever for his tonal arts to use his enemy's screams as an instrument. I'm gonna M3 Forger of Eunuchs and put him with Wanqing and Pepe.
Medic amiya is good at healing crushers though, 2.5 to 3.5% of max hp per second everytime she activates her skill. Maybe you should consider building her to cover their weaknesses
I always considered crusher the spike archetype though. The only archetype more spike then crushers in my eyes is juggernaught defenders, so penance and mudrock. And surtr if your the type of person who surrounds your surtr with 8 healers. Extremely strong but “impractical” characters who become buildarounds. Characters that, if you enable them can make bosses look like mobs. To me that is the epitome of a spike archetype.
i wont judge because my fav class in arknights are snipers, and recently my favorites are the "hard to use" or considered bad subclasses, like hunters and heavy shooters. sure, arknights have better options with better attack range and you don't have to worry about ammo or that they will defeat heavy def enemies in a short attack range, but it just works for me.
I dont like favourite sub archetype like you have crushers, but I have that same feeling towards my favourite niche operators, like Flamebringer for example. I like working around my operators limitation like you do with crushers.
Of course you play Izzet storm. But yeah, I admire your attitude towards Arknights. It really is a good game first and foremost, and that kind of experementative approach is respectful of its quality as a game. Also, I did notice that all crushers have kind of similar personalities, but you can observe this with other subclasses too, especially smaller ones. It's kind of subtle, though.
Honestly, hated on how I got Hoederer. I got him twice when i was trying to get his wife. Still havent gotten his wife. But i leveled him up, and hes been pretty fun, and Ulpianus, i wanted him cause i found his kit pretty fun to play with. And it took like 80 pulls but it was worth it.
I do agree that there are no bad operator, there are only right way to use them.(I'm bad that the game) I might not enjoy crusher that much but I really enjoy specialist, executor and doll keeper even though I only use Specter alter XD. My favorite operator is Surtr, I ended up creat a team of specialist and Surtr. Sorry for bad enough. Sorry
Ulpianuse wpuldnt to me fit as any other class and subclass, hes a force to be reckoned with and as a abyssal hunter hes near unstoppable but solo as hes been for a long time hes still increadibly powerful he doesnt need defense he just needs to be close. Hes cool.
Well i just like chongyue. I do have wisadel, mlynar, chen alter, tex alt pot 5(soon pot 6), and more top meta, tho not surtr. But i will and will always Will be using chongyue no matter what. my gege deserve the attention and the love
Can't wait for "Why Do I Love crushers part 3" in a year or so XD Jokes aside. I was hesitating to build Quartz for quite some time (even tho I'm a lupo enjoyer). Only after stumbling upon your channel I've been enlightened, now happily use her as well as A😂sta (and don't see his unblock requirements any bad) Texalter still a disgrace to the Lupoknights tho.
you inspired me to try ulpianus and all crushers in general i originally wanted hoederererer can you please do the exact same type of video for reaper guards i love them but i believe that most treat them poorly
Wouldn't be a bad idea. Thing is I don't have La Pluma. I would be fine making the video without having experience with Executor, but I don't think I would feel confident assessing La Pluma without having actually used her that much.
I'm a rather fresh player, but I've been finding myself liking the Crushers a lot as well, even if I've only just got Ulpianus by sheer luck from the event I joined the game just in time to be part of and still haven't found a good way to keep him alive before his S2 finally charges up. Maybe it's my brain doing its usual "huge fuckinf sord" thing, maybe it's the idea of perseverence through the 0 DEF, but I really just want to use them to the best of their ability, which is why I have a question for future reference because in my attempts to research it I've found wildly different opinions. Hoederer, how do I make him work as a line holder?
She's good, but there is definitely a big difference between her and the Crushers. I really only use her as a Dreadnought, as having that two block and high ATK during downtime is very important. They are very different functionally, but it is easy to see the similarities when they both have insane HP, insane ATK and no DEF. I'm sure Matoimaru was at least somewhat of an inspiration for the subclass.
i just don't like how crushers are similar to centurions, is kinda of lazy game design to just make a sub class that is identical to other one with only stats as diference, I'm a 5 star player and honestly, i never saw any reason to use windshimes instead of Specter, Fuze or Broca, wile these 3 have a unic thing going for then Windshimes is just a big ATK stat block with a big damage skill.
I don't believe Crushers are the worst Archetype. I'd say Chargers Dreadnaught Ritualist/Primal and Shifters would fit that mold well Crushers just have a very noticable flaw, that 2 Block. They mainly focus on High Damage low frequency attacks so why increase the frequency? there hasn't been a crusher that uses DMGT scaling
4:43 "storm Player" "Storm Scale" Exist and is name "Storm Scale" for a reason Is reason why I don't play magic Anymore 50% power creep Binary wind condition People who want to play "non game."solitaire Are you open Binary Wind condition Who ignore Playing Magic part of Playing Magic I can scoop or Or watching you playing solitaire In multiplayer game.Because And finally 10% Price of card and and 0 Format who are not Awful Standard Unplayable Modern You open "scan" or One ring yes or no ? Legacy is joke. But what about Commander You mean alternative format who play completely different? and is still power creep To oblivion Because All new set are now commander set now. sorry, but State of mtg is Just Making me angry.

Haven't watched the video, but it's probably Hoederer's backside. I respect that
How you feel about Crushers is exactly how I feel about Abjurers.

why bro keep yappin about the cringe guard subclass? doesn't bro know Earthshakers are literally better?
Nah, bro, since the start of the game, Lords have been the peak guards. Schwing Schwing
@@AquaticIdealisthere I was thinking someone would mention ayerscape
Funny thing is that people also call them bad.
Pepe fell off while us Chadpianus enjoyers can't stop getting Ws
Yeah Pepe isn't that great
A lot of what you said resonated with my experience as a player.
I didnt start playing akrnights because its a gacha, i started playing it because its a tower defense game.
And I didnt stay here, playing it for 5 years, because of the waifus, but because its a really fun game!
My favorite melee class is Monst3r.
My favourite is monst2r

Coldshot is totally getting a future video. She's REALLY good.
I don't like Crushers because they powercreep Dreadnoughts.
Name a dreadnaught that was relevant beforehand(apart from nearl(she has her own niches))… not much to powercreep tbh
Not a very high bar to clear.
My brother in christ a bunch of specialist archetypes and a couple of defenders powercreep dreadnoughts
Idk... Dreadnaughts are usually helidrops while Crushers are usually laneholders
I don't like Cdushers cause they powercreep Duelists
(Sorry in advance, English isn't my first language, so sorry if there are any grammar issues)
Not really related to the video?(I don't know), but i reason that i love arknights so much is the freedom, pushing your favorite operators to their limits, and clearing a stage that makes you proud of what you did, and also be shocked by the cleaver solutions that other people did...
Crushers are great because I love healers and I can bring so many healers for the crushers
For healing of max hp you can use Warfarin s1 and gladia (talent 1)
@@Ammar-nn8onGladiia talent is limited to Ulpipi only
I played arknights because of the pandemic, so I must say, thank you covid for recommending me this God loveable game
(btw I like guardian and juggernaut defenders)
A friend of mine loves defenders like I love Crushers, so I'm sure you two would get along lmao
Listening to Bloop ranting about his love for crushers a 3rd time.
Cause HIMderer is in that archetype. That's the only reason you need.
Who up losing they 100 hp per second. Enemies that have attacked and been attacked by Hoederer recieve 200 true damage every second 🔥
Cue instant regret.)
Nevertheless I respect how you stand up for Crushers against the criticism, which I do think is unfair.
Ngl i ended up pulling ulpianus and benching walter bc of ur videos and I'm having a lot more fun
I love the animation and sound of the swing of the crusher weapons. It just looks and feels heavy and i love it
the crusher motto: big numbers go brrrrr
now for the actual comment: You did definately open my eyes to this class.
Your pfp and name are Lavoss
That is probably the most Crusher Battle Cats unit
raw stats remain supreme
I have hoederer, unfortunately I haven't e2 him yet cause I'm short 100k lmd for promotion 😢
Obviously channels like Storn are always going to make people only care about the Brand New Boss Vaporiser for this bi monthly period and constantly make the same jokes about units who dare to not instantly kill everything and give you a million OP just for e2ing them,
But i really appreciate having a channel to see discussion about operators like kirara and the crushers, especially since ive ended up loving hoederer so much that he hasnt left my squad since i got him.
Honestly, this kinda thing is why I've been trying to get the phalanx casters since I got Beeswax.
Turns out I love it when a class that, in a normally fragile archetype like casters, just refuses to dies or denies a mechanic simply because they don't attack while offskill.
A bunch of oddballs that I love
understandable.
i like trap master, because aspd goes brrrrtt!
You’re never gonna let the beef with Ulpianus’s talent die, Huh?
Before crushers even exist I use specter alter as meat shield with damage, now that I got Ulpianus on my maleknights account I'm delighted
something about "hard to use" OPs i just adore to no end. Can't wait for thorns alter
Wake up babe, the best AK channel posted again!
I feel like I just heard the glasses copypasta but for crushers.
As I certified Timmy with both cosume 100 hp per second and throw an anchor built, I'll definitely say they are extremely fun and also one if my favourite subclasses
Mainly because the way I like to play is support based I feel so accomplished if I can make an operator shine because of the help of others, it's with I love Quibai
And the Crushers are the best class to do any shenanigans because you can either cover their weaknesses and give then defense or ASPD or bost their strength further with atk or max hp buffs or just pop a nightingale and watch Mandragora do frostleaf damage 😂
For me it’s support guards and sentry defenders they aren’t always good but making them work is satisfying
Bro really got emotional speaking abt an arknights subclass
arknights isn't a game...it's a representation of who we are!! XD
but what an inspiring video, keep doing and playing what you love, bloop :) ❤
Medic amiya is good at healing crushers though, 2.5 to 3.5% of max hp per second everytime she activates her skill. Maybe you should consider building her to cover their weaknesses
she is built and I do very much use her with Crushers.
haven't unlocked her mod tho, saving my mod blocks for the crusher mods
I always considered crusher the spike archetype though. The only archetype more spike then crushers in my eyes is juggernaught defenders, so penance and mudrock. And surtr if your the type of person who surrounds your surtr with 8 healers.
Extremely strong but “impractical” characters who become buildarounds. Characters that, if you enable them can make bosses look like mobs. To me that is the epitome of a spike archetype.
Still waiting on a 6 star arts protector
i wont judge because my fav class in arknights are snipers, and recently my favorites are the "hard to use" or considered bad subclasses, like hunters and heavy shooters.
sure, arknights have better options with better attack range and you don't have to worry about ammo or that they will defeat heavy def enemies in a short attack range, but it just works for me.
I see beeg sword = Im happy
Can't wait for "Why Do I Love crushers part 3" in a year or so XD
Jokes aside. I was hesitating to build Quartz for quite some time (even tho I'm a lupo enjoyer).
Only after stumbling upon your channel I've been enlightened, now happily use her as well as A😂sta (and don't see his unblock requirements any bad)
Texalter still a disgrace to the Lupoknights tho.
I must say that outside of Quartz I don't really have a dog amongst crushers, just clearing that out.
you inspired me to try ulpianus and all crushers in general i originally wanted hoederererer can you please do the exact same type of video for reaper guards i love them but i believe that most treat them poorly
Wouldn't be a bad idea. Thing is I don't have La Pluma. I would be fine making the video without having experience with Executor, but I don't think I would feel confident assessing La Pluma without having actually used her that much.
I love crushers bc they have hot six star men
I'm a rather fresh player, but I've been finding myself liking the Crushers a lot as well, even if I've only just got Ulpianus by sheer luck from the event I joined the game just in time to be part of and still haven't found a good way to keep him alive before his S2 finally charges up.
Wait did he made this same video before?....
That'll be a Christmas tradition for every year now XD
What's your thoughts on Matoimaru? She was basically a crusher before the crusher class.
Ah yes, more crusher propaganda for me to consume
i just don't like how crushers are similar to centurions, is kinda of lazy game design to just make a sub class that is identical to other one with only stats as diference, I'm a 5 star player and honestly, i never saw any reason to use windshimes instead of Specter, Fuze or Broca, wile these 3 have a unic thing going for then Windshimes is just a big ATK stat block with a big damage skill.
I don't believe Crushers are the worst Archetype. I'd say Chargers Dreadnaught Ritualist/Primal and Shifters would fit that mold well
Crushers just have a very noticable flaw, that 2 Block. They mainly focus on High Damage low frequency attacks so why increase the frequency? there hasn't been a crusher that uses DMGT scaling
💪👍
Ayyy
Ladies, gents, nonbinaries. May I ask we sing once more, the vows to defend her, we made long ago?
how about we settle into ash for the song
4:43 "storm Player"
"Storm Scale" Exist and is name "Storm Scale" for a reason Is reason why I don't play magic Anymore 50% power creep
Binary wind condition People who want to play "non game."solitaire Are you open Binary Wind condition Who ignore Playing Magic part of Playing Magic I can scoop or Or watching you playing solitaire In multiplayer game.Because And finally 10% Price of card and and 0 Format who are not

sorry, but State of mtg is Just Making me angry.
1 minute with no view? Bro fell off
watching too much of your videos makes me unconsciously raise wind chimes😭 (it was worth it I love her bonkers🥸)
Mr crusher guy where do I use Ulpian S1 over S2/3? 🥸
