You mentioned not to use pre peeled garlic. I'm curious as to why? None of the ones I've ever purchased had anything added. plus they are recommended by ATK and others.
Hi Bret! I only like to use garlic from the US. There is no way to know the source of peeled garlic because the root is gone. Most of the garlic from China is grown in polluted water and sprayed to keep it from sprouting.
Amy, your sauce will not stick to your pasta if you put oil in the cooking water. I realize you do it so it won't stick together. If you stir it , there will be no sticking together. At a full boil, it shouldn't stick together anyway!
I sort of cringed when I saw that and no salt in the water .. Pasta sticks when you don't have enough water adn/or don't have a good rolling boil like you said

Yeah, garlic! It looks wonderful! It wouldn't need the cheese. On Amazon it says the set is induction. Can they be used on a gas stove?

I salted the water pretty well. I didn't really have to add much salt in the final dish because of it.
The sauce was olive oil so it didnt really make a difference.
