I loved this tenor section. I liked the warm ups they did on the field right before the show. And, i thought they just had a smoothness about them. Even their drum solo in the show was smooth. However, there isn't a clip of that anywhere.
Colin is an OUTSTANDING tenor player. He was in the UMASS Tenor lune following the year of this but also did a LOT of writing of our charts as well as a great instructor for us. He is a phenomenal player, teacher, and all around great person. He could be intimidating when instructing but he always left you playing better than you thought you could.
@@williammurray6017 ...and got hired by Star and help propel the 93 star drumlin to new levels I was thrilled to audition for Thom and him that year didn't get cut wish I went back for more learn ton in 1 camp... I still have his Red Rhumba aka the black page of notes and still haven't seen its equal.
THANK YOU Myron Vazquez!!!!! This should have 3 million views. NEVER again will a tenor line be assembled that will rival this group. Simply amazing!
Forever and always a standing. Ovation for certain. My inspiration back then and still today no doubt.
I'm from the old skool era quad players ( 78&79North Star). Never saw this video and it is great!
Colin McNutt played tenors, wow!
Wow! Crystal clear and so much better than my 11th generation copy that made it to Florida in the mid 90s!
this is so awesome.

Anyone else watch the whole thing to see if He'd play any of his Specials.

I didn’t know Colin Mcnutt was part of this.
None better. Not prior nor since.
awesome tenor line. thanks for remastering this. Id say its a draw between 92 santa clara and 96 blue devils for best tenor line ever in DCI
