    So helpful, thank you! What makes me happy is when letterers talk about how they have always loved writing letters and words. I have always filled any paper in front of me with letters and words or lyrics, etc. and now lettering makes so much sense to me.

    Hi five to the no uni train!! I dropped out three weeks in as I hates it... I worked in a pub and I'm now freelance and I'm super happy with what I do! This is a great Q&A, thanks for the insight into your life and process :D

    Also: keep going, even if you’re not making progress, because the act of doing it is advancing you, even if you can’t tell. I’m adding this video to my inspirational Pinterest quote board because it’s amazing!

    I loved what you said about working on projects that you're not 100% proud of. I've heard so many designers try to persuade their client into a totally foreign direction that may not be suitable for them (small business, low budget) bc it's not up to their standards. We work FOR our clients and help them achieve THEIR vision. Maybe it's not perfect, or what you would imagine an ideal case study to be but you can always elevate their ideas to the best of your ability.

    Stefan man, you're keeping it real and that's inspiring,
    don't doubt your skills 'cause they're worth sharing,
    you're killin' it and we're enjoying it,
    I wish one day we'll meet, until then stay lit!

    hahaha, a huge "YES!!!!" for the excitement on the stormy beach. feels like the wedding photographer searching for plan b while entertaining the couple to not get into panic. and yeah, guys filming themselves with professional gear are always a little awkward. I would really like to see more videos like this one.

    Thank you for the advice! Especially on giving my current job 110%, even if I do not want to be there. I’m currently struggling with not wanting to be at my job and want to do what I love, which is being creative expressing it through art.

    Looking forward to starting 30 days of Bible lettering! I haven't found my niche yet, but as time goes I know I will (but I hope it's sooner than later :P)

    I’m really enjoying all hour content! You truly shine and inspire me. I do have a question, is cool that u didn’t went to uni but u r truly skillful & very knowledgeable in a lot of things like the newsletter are amazing reflective and teaches something. So how did u learn to do the work you do now? The skills? & how to put out ur work out there to get clients? Well maybe is a few questions 😅it’s just I’m a bit lost in this journey. Thx in advance! Blessings~~

    Absolutely brilliant advice (I feel like you’re unintentionally being a self help guru for me) - do the job you’re getting paid for, even if you think it sucks, to the very best of your ability, and you will take that attitude with you, wherever you go.

    When you were still a beginner in your craft, how much time did it actually take to finish one project? (Like a chalk art, or just a handlettered bible verse on a journal) and how much time did it take NOW for you to finish one work? Btw i SO love your works!! I really am aspiring to be as good as you are soon! 💕🤗

    Not really a lettering question but, when you draw something in procreate, and you want to color inside, how do I keep from drawing over my outline? Love your videos!

    Which one is better for lettering and art in general: Wacom OR iPad Pro w/ 🍎 Pencil?

    • @StefanKunz
      @StefanKunz  6 років тому +3

      The best I've seen so far is the iPad Pro. And with Procreate its almost unbeatable
