How is it aiding and abetting if Donna was under no restrictions of leaving the country? Just as Rashbaum was able to discuss Donna leaving wasn’t a crime either because she had no indictment, arrest, or legal restrictions prior to her trying to fly to Vietnam. She was arrested at the airport after they decided to charge her to avoid her leaving but up until that point she had no lawful restrictions.

The Judge is one of your best guests. His perspective is very different from the lawyer guests. You can tell he’s “ruling” on evidentiary issues instead of just telling viewers what the legal arguments would be or what they would say. It’s a refreshing point of view.
He has a great way of speaking, and even acknowledged another's take and said....good point, in a very classy and intelligent way, even though the judge's point was likely more correct. He is a solid guy all around. No arrogance at all, and he provides valuable info and insights.
Just seems like Wendi has had the most to gain from all this. I totally agree with Jared regarding the "Now you're not guilty' line. The word 'now' is so important, and yeah, to me it was a dig claiming Wendi is, was, will always be guilty for taking part in planning Danny's death. I don't see Donna flipping on Wendi but when Donna is convicted, Charlie the mama's boy, will flip, hopefully, on Wendi. I took a break from STS because I didn't watch the Karen Reed trial. However I see the Donna Adelson trial is ramping up so I am back. I saw STS on Vinnie/ Court TV.....WTG! 🎉😊
The Karen Read case is the only case that surpassed the Markel case. Karen Read is innocent and the answers are out there. But you have to patiently go through the evidence, lack of evidence and the trial and the truth slowly reveals itself like a blooming flower. I was extremely skeptical of a conspiracy and then slowly and methodically the truth blooms. Fascinating , can't unsee it now.
These comments by Donna won’t be viewed alone. They’ll be viewed alongside her hateful emails where she clearly hates Dan and encourages her daughter to make his life miserable. It’s not just one thing that points to Donna,it’s a puzzle and the pieces all fit to spell guilty as hell.
If Wendi wasn’t involved, and if Harvey didn’t know, why did Harvey tell Donna not to report the bump to the police because that would scare Wendi and she would become distraught and on and on and on. Again in these same conversations between Donna and Charlie during the bump, Donna sings the usual refrain ‘we must protect Wendi’. Danny had been dead for 2 years at the time of the bump so what exactly were they protecting her from again at that point in time? Well, Charlie did ask Donna whether anybody had bothered Wendi yet. That was also during the bump.

I think all that the statement means is that it’s because your brother covered up for you all these years that you are free now, and he is guilty. And you are ignoring us… etc. That is the context, people. @@JuliaK-H These were in phone conversations between Charlie and Donna during the FBI bump in 2016. The prosecution has all of these so it's nothing new. If you go back to Charlie's trial and watch the testimonies of the 2 detectives (laughing at myself, I've forgotten their names), there were so many slides shown in the courtroom - mostly phone conversations. Some were played in the courtroom. For others, you could only get the details if you go slide by slide and do your own transcript. It's a lot of work. I was on some of them for about 3 weeks and I gave up. I may have some patches of them in my email. Will dig it out and post it here. I posted them a number of times late last year or beginning this year. To give you a head's up, you can check Lawyer Lee's youtube page where she had a daily night show during Charlie's trial. She brought up a bit of this particular transcript on her show titled Day 5 (if I remember correctly). She did good summaries of each day's accounts.

You know, in the weirdest way, that famous statement again, your brother protected you for years - now you are not guilty - almost comes across as if Donna was acknowledging that Charlie was indeed guilty and had he not covered up for Wendi, Wendi would have been in the same situation.
Wendi is acting totally out of self preservation. Limiting her contact with her family is the smart move. Their inability to keep quiet is a big part of why they were both arrested. Wendi doesn't trust their judgment.

I watched a fairly recent video (within the past 3-4 weeks) that attorney Carl Steinbeck shared in which he is fully convinced that Wendy will be arrested by the end of the year. Thus far, according to the opinions & observations from other attorneys, Carl Steinbeck has been absolutely spot on with each step that Georgia Cappelman & State Attorney Jack Campbell has made. I also recommend another video that Carl Steinbeck shared in which he shared his 100 reasons proving that Wendi Adelson was absolutely involved and will be found guilty. @@JRoss1010 the content in tbe podcast was new evidence about donno’s messaging that included her messages complaining about all the factors that led to Charlie’s guilt. Donna and Charlie never complained that Katie lied on the witness stand about Charlie’s involvement. When I make that point you challenged it saying Katie was lying. The misunderstanding is all on your part. And it’s true they never said Katie was lying about Charlie’s involvement in all their complaints about the conviction. That’s a major factor because Katie is the only witness that puts Donna in the conspiracy prior to Charlie supposedly telling his mom it was double extortion. Her testimony that Donna and Harvey dropped off the money to Charlie puts both Donna and Harvey right in the middle.

I’m so sick of less than bright people saying Charlie is going to “flip on” Wendi. Or Wendi is going to “flip on” Donna. There’s no such thing as “flipping on” a single individual. That’s not how it works. If you want to make a deal the first thing you do is proffer a statement to the state. If you have useful and pertinent information- and they think you’re credibly telling the truth- then they may offer you a deal in exchange for your COOPERATION. That means cooperation in all things, during every trial, against everyone. You don’t get to pick and choose who you’re willing to testify against. You can’t say, “well, I’ll testify against my brother but not against my mother.” EH. NOPE. Not gonna work. Your agreement with the state will compel your testimony against mom, and dad, and Charlie, and Santa Claus for good measure. If you don’t show up for trial, or your trial testimony differs meaningfully from your proffer, the state will reneg on the agreement faster than you can say “krausverweitzenarbeitsberung”.
As a non-lawyer, I find this judge’s opinion about the value of the text messages from Donna and Wendi very interesting. How are they not of any use when there were a lot of much less incriminating text messages used in the Charlie Adelson trial? they would in mho still create a lot of context…

He was a playboy who enjoyed sex tourism and conspicuous consumption and pretended to be a smart insider trader. He was a low quality dentist who introduced himself as an “oral surgeon”. Calling himself a regular dentist was not enough. He had a huge but fragile ego. His family considered him an undisciplined man child, but a funny bad boy. They enjoyed that he could do and say the things they could not, because he did not have a fake image of virtue to protect. When Wendi’s marriage inevitably failed, she and Donna blamed Dan for all of their unhappiness. Once Donna and Wendi lost the ability to manipulate Dan, they hated him. Wendi and Donna loved to antagonize Dan and the boys were pawns they could use to aggravate him. Dan was the opposite of the Addelson’s. He was genuine, smart, hard working, and he was a capable defender of his boys from their grandmother and mother. When Donna and Wendi could not manipulate and destroy Dan’s life, they decided Dan needed to die. Charlie suddenly found himself in a position where he could gain the respect and approval of his mother and sister by solving their “Dan problem”. He could make himself useful and do something they could not. He could play the part of a rich and ruthless crime boss. Charlie was never competent. As a dentist he lost a massive law suit for his malpractice (185k) and was sanctioned by the dental board. He had coasted on his families corrupt connections and help. Now he had the opportunity to be the family hero. Fortunately Charlie is as arrogant and conceited as he is inept and incompetent. He planned a bungling and amateurish crime that has uncovered the evil of his family. That he will spend the rest of his life in prison is well deserved. That Donna is currently sitting in jail is delightful. Harvey is the next shoe to drop followed by Wendi . They just need her one last time to lie and bury herself deeper. Harvey and her will be found guilty of accessory to murder. Wendi’s lawyers are already prepping her for her arrest. They know it’s not an IF but WHEN. Wendi has a team of people, probably some on her defense team, that are deliberately spreading misinformation. Things like "the prosecution doesn't believe they have enough evidence to convict Wendi", or "Wendi's arrest is unlikely and she may not have known about Charlie and Donna's actions". Another lie that's being spread is that Wendi's derivative use immunity will prevent her from prosecution. The prosecution will charge her with perjury, and I would be shocked if they didn't, and this would effectively make all her testimony admissable against her. One thing I can guarantee is she watches every Fanci Fiction video that comes out to help her prep her defense.

The most damning line is “your lawyer took very good care of you.” Even alone or with the prior sentence “now you are not guilty” is sarcastic. Sarcastic because she knows Wendy is guilty. Then again, “your brother protected you for years” is maybe even more damning.
Wendy’s response to Donna’s text tells you clearly what Donna meant. Even Wendy thought her mom was saying she was guilty such that she had to defend herself as “not guilty.”

I think Donna needed to do her research on visas to Vietnam before she decided to go there. I travel to Vietnam at least annually and so have looked at visas every which way. To buy a one way ticket was the most stupid thing I have ever heard.

The judge was saying that the defense will work to keep it out as hearsay. Unless the prosecution can figure out a way to get around that it could be excluded. Of course…if Wendi testifies then she has the ability to be cross examined on it, so…😊
Tim Jenson has been saying the whole time he didn’t think that Wendi will be charged. It’s not an absolutely crazy thing to think. If the state doesn’t think they have enough to convict her they won’t. I am 50/50 but I really hope they find something and are able to arrest and convict her. She was pretty smart about the communication- remember she was in the legal field and has had an attorney for a while.

I would be willing to bet that Wendy is not charged. The case against her will be entirely circumstantial, and the defense will have plausible explanations for the most of telling pieces of evidence. I believe she was definitely involved but she has been very clever to separate herself from the killing except for her impulsive drive by the crime scene.

The Judge is one of your best guests. His perspective is very different from the lawyer guests. You can tell he’s “ruling” on evidentiary issues instead of just telling viewers what the legal arguments would be or what they would say. It’s a refreshing point of view.
He has a great way of speaking, and even acknowledged another's take and said....good point, in a very classy and intelligent way, even though the judge's point was likely more correct. He is a solid guy all around. No arrogance at all, and he provides valuable info and insights.
Just seems like Wendi has had the most to gain from all this. She got rid of her oppressive mother, the dipshit brother, the husband she no longer wanted, the in laws she despises, AND got to keep the kids. Detectives love to ask, "Who had the most to gain?" Woooooow Wendi. Just wow. How your chip fell was impressive. I just gotta have faith that Georgia is saving that one last ace up her sleeve.

The word 'now' is so important, and yeah, to me it was a dig claiming Wendi is, was, will always be guilty for taking part in planning Danny's death. I don't see Donna flipping on Wendi but when Donna is convicted, Charlie the mama's boy, will flip, hopefully, on Wendi. Donna's conviction will tear Charlie's heart to pieces and he will be pissed off and put some of the ownership on Wendi. Fingers crossed.

The Karen Read case is the only case that surpassed the Markel case. Karen Read is innocent and the answers are out there. But you have to patiently go through the evidence, lack of evidence and the trial and the truth slowly reveals itself like a blooming flower. I was extremely skeptical of a conspiracy and then slowly and methodically the truth blooms. Fascinating , can't unsee it now.

These comments by Donna won’t be viewed alone. They’ll be viewed alongside her hateful emails where she clearly hates Dan and encourages her daughter to make his life miserable. It’s not just one thing that points to Donna,it’s a puzzle and the pieces all fit to spell guilty as hell.
If Wendi wasn’t involved, and if Harvey didn’t know, why did Harvey tell Donna not to report the bump to the police because that would scare Wendi and she would become distraught and on and on and on. Again in these same conversations between Donna and Charlie during the bump, Donna sings the usual refrain ‘we must protect Wendi’. Danny had been dead for 2 years at the time of the bump so what exactly were they protecting her from again at that point in time? Well, Charlie did ask Donna whether anybody had bothered Wendi yet. That was also during the bump.

I think all that the statement means is that it’s because your brother covered up for you all these years that you are free now, and he is guilty. I feel the same. Donna’s influence on the family has been enormous. Charlie saw what happened to his brother and realised the safest way is to use girls, never marry them. @@JuliaK-H These were in phone conversations between Charlie and Donna during the FBI bump in 2016. The prosecution has all of these so it's nothing new. If you go back to Charlie's trial and watch the testimonies of the 2 detectives (laughing at myself, I've forgotten their names), there were so many slides shown in the courtroom - mostly phone conversations. Some were played in the courtroom. For others, you could only get the details if you go slide by slide and do your own transcript. It's a lot of work. I was on some of them for about 3 weeks and I gave up. I may have some patches of them in my email. Will dig it out and post it here. I posted them a number of times late last year or beginning this year. To give you a head's up, you can check Lawyer Lee's youtube page where she had a daily night show during Charlie's trial. She brought up a bit of this particular transcript on her show titled Day 5 (if I remember correctly). She did good summaries of each day's accounts.

While the statute of limitations will never run out, IMHO, that would be way too long to wait to go after her. I watched a fairly recent video (within the past 3-4 weeks) that attorney Carl Steinbeck shared in which he is fully convinced that Wendy will be arrested by the end of the year. Thus far, according to the opinions & observations from other attorneys, Carl Steinbeck has been absolutely spot on with each step that Georgia Cappelman & State Attorney Jack Campbell has made. I also recommend another video that Carl Steinbeck shared in which he shared his 100 reasons proving that Wendi Adelson was absolutely involved and will be found guilty. @@JRoss1010 the content in tbe podcast was new evidence about donno’s messaging that included her messages complaining about all the factors that led to Charlie’s guilt. Donna and Charlie never complained that Katie lied on the witness stand about Charlie’s involvement. When I make that point you challenged it saying Katie was lying. The misunderstanding is all on your part. And it’s true they never said Katie was lying about Charlie’s involvement in all their complaints about the conviction. That’s a major factor because Katie is the only witness that puts Donna in the conspiracy prior to Charlie supposedly telling his mom it was double extortion. Her testimony that Donna and Harvey dropped off the money to Charlie puts both Donna and Harvey right in the middle.

Like "probably involves the two of us," on the wiretap. Don’t you guys listen to the jailhouse calls. Donna wanted to give Wendi the info and power over their properties, finances,wills, trusts set up for the children. Of course, they thought Wendi would be the one to take over when they left. I’m sure their heads were spinning when Wendi couldn’t give them a hug, comfort, support, or help with finances. They sacrificed for years to take care of Wendi and she turned her back on them completely.
The bigger problem is that Dan Rashbaum represented Charlie and is now representing Donna. I’m surprised the judge allowed this.

Who wouldn’t think that a parent wouldn’t absolutely lose it when their son got that guilty verdict? Yes, Donna tried to illicit some humanity from her daughter but of course Harvey probably lost it.
I’m so sick of less than bright people saying Charlie is going to “flip on” Wendi. Or Wendi is going to “flip on” Donna.
There’s no such thing as “flipping on” a single individual. That’s not how it works. If you want to make a deal the first thing you do is proffer a statement to the state. If you have useful and pertinent information- and they think you’re credibly telling the truth- then they may offer you a deal in exchange for your COOPERATION. That means cooperation in all things, during every trial, against everyone.
You don’t get to pick and choose who you’re willing to testify against. You can’t say, “well, I’ll testify against my brother but not against my mother.” EH. NOPE. Not gonna work. Your agreement with the state will compel your testimony against mom, and dad, and Charlie, and Santa Claus for good measure. If you don’t show up for trial, or your trial testimony differs meaningfully from your proffer, the state will reneg on the agreement faster than you can say “krausverweitzenarbeitsberung”.
Rashbaun is below any standard for a lawyer. He should have advised charlie to take a plea.

As a non-lawyer, I find this judge’s opinion about the value of the text messages from Donna and Wendi very interesting. How are they not of any use when there were a lot of much less incriminating text messages used in the Charlie Adelson trial? they would in mho still create a lot of context…

Donna is a narcissistic mother and Wendi was the golden child and followed Mom. If Wendi was unhappy, Donna could not stand it. These two narcissists are co-dependent and bring out the worst in each other.
Older brother Rob recognized the danger of Donna and Wendi and pulled away. In spite of being the best member of his family they considered him the “black sheep” because he was the most difficult to manipulate. He traded his birth families support for pursuing becoming a good person and creating a happy family for his wife and children.
Charlie was the family clown. He was not despised like Rob by his malevolent mother and sister, but he was not respected a wannabe Fredo .Charlie’s narcissism presented itself as a spoiled frat boy who does not believe consequences are real. He lives in a delusional world. He was able to pursue a life of hedonism pedo lifestyle due to the success of the family business. He had desperate friends who he fed cocaine to and took on pedo vacations.
While Donna and Wendi took pride in their superficial facade of judgmental perfection, charlie used his narcissism to be “a bad boy” and “above the law”. He was a playboy who enjoyed sex tourism and conspicuous consumption and pretended to be a smart insider trader. He was a low quality dentist who introduced himself as an “oral surgeon”. Calling himself a regular dentist was not enough. He had a huge but fragile ego. His family considered him an undisciplined man child, but a funny bad boy. They enjoyed that he could do and say the things they could not, because he did not have a fake image of virtue to protect.
When Wendi’s marriage inevitably failed, she and Donna blamed Dan for all of their unhappiness. Once Donna and Wendi lost the ability to manipulate Dan, they hated him. Wendi and Donna loved to antagonize Dan and the boys were pawns they could use to aggravate him. Dan was the opposite of the Addelson’s. He was genuine, smart, hard working, and he was a capable defender of his boys from their grandmother and mother.
When Donna and Wendi could not manipulate and destroy Dan’s life, they decided Dan needed to die.
Charlie suddenly found himself in a position where he could gain the respect and approval of his mother and sister by solving their “Dan problem”. He could make himself useful and do something they could not. He could play the part of a rich and ruthless crime boss.
Charlie was never competent. As a dentist he lost a massive law suit for his malpractice (185k) and was sanctioned by the dental board. He had coasted on his families corrupt connections and help. Now he had the opportunity to be the family hero.
Fortunately Charlie is as arrogant and conceited as he is inept and incompetent. He planned a bungling and amateurish crime that has uncovered the evil of his family. That he will spend the rest of his life in prison is well deserved. That Donna is currently sitting in jail is delightful.
Harvey is the next shoe to drop followed by Wendi . They just need her one last time to lie and bury herself deeper. Harvey and her will be found guilty of accessory to murder.
Wendi’s lawyers are already prepping her for her arrest. They know it’s not an IF but WHEN.
Wendi has a team of people, probably some on her defense team, that are deliberately spreading misinformation. Things like "the prosecution doesn't believe they have enough evidence to convict Wendi", or "Wendi's arrest is unlikely and she may not have known about Charlie and Donna's actions".
Another lie that's being spread is that Wendi's derivative use immunity will prevent her from prosecution. The prosecution will charge her with perjury, and I would be shocked if they didn't, and this would effectively make all her testimony admissable against her.
One thing I can guarantee is she watches every Fanci Fiction video that comes out to help her prep her defense.
Donna normally would have expected her daughter to be there for them emotionally. She and Harvey would have expected comfort and support.

The most damning line is “your lawyer took very good care of you.” Even alone or with the prior sentence “now you are not guilty” is sarcastic. Sarcastic because she knows Wendy is guilty. Then again, “your brother protected you for years” is maybe even more damning.
Wendy’s response to Donna’s text tells you clearly what Donna meant. Even Wendy thought her mom was saying she was guilty such that she had to defend herself as “not guilty.”

Wendi's pathetic text is so scripted legally it's pitiful. .a crapload of BS.. jurors aren't stupid. The judge was saying that the defense will work to keep it out as hearsay. Unless the prosecution can figure out a way to get around that it could be excluded. Of course…if Wendi testifies then she has the ability to be cross examined on it, so…😊
Tim Jenson has been saying the whole time he didn’t think that Wendi will be charged. It’s not an absolutely crazy thing to think. If the state doesn’t think they have enough to convict her they won’t. I am 50/50 but I really hope they find something and are able to arrest and convict her. She was pretty smart about the communication- remember she was in the legal field and has had an attorney for a while.

I would be willing to bet that Wendy is not charged. The case against her will be entirely circumstantial, and the defense will have plausible explanations for the most of telling pieces of evidence. I believe she was definitely involved but she has been very clever to separate herself from the killing except for her impulsive drive by the crime scene.
