    Happy to see Campagnolo didn't design their new 12 speed in the same manner that Sram did with their AXS group. Come time to replace my etap group I'm going back to Campagnolo.

    The bike's manual says that you have to put a spacer over the stem of a dimension between 0.2 and 5 mm

    • @newttella1043
      @newttella1043 5 років тому

      Maybe Jon can do a feature on all the broken rules and guidelines recommended by the bike manufacturers. Along with removing the one spacer, these are just the ones I know: filing down lawyer tabs, choosing a much smaller frame size, leaving the brake pad quick release open, I think manufacturers even say reflectors are mandatory. Some mountain bikers run only 3 of the 6 bolts per disc rotor... what else are the pros doing to void their warranties?

    Seems like you still can go damn fast on a „classic“ roadbike with shallow rims, rim brakes, external cables and a round handlebar.. what about aero & disc everything? Don‘t get fooled by the industry, pro cyclists can go super fast over long distance on whatever bike is given to them, and so can you.

  • @micahmaresca9763

    I do believe that we have reached the limits of exotic changes frame manufacturing is beginning to reintroduce every couple years. Colnago being one of many frame builders that keep reaching the pinnacle of quality. Make a proven product.......Now all that is left to do to frames is too add cool paint scheme, its raw talent of the man or woman on the machine at this point that will make the difference.

    • @micahmaresca9763
      @micahmaresca9763 5 років тому

      Frame size is important but not an exact science, I am not a professional rider with access to help me dial in a perfect fit.....but it come down to a personal preference on size, if your a 56cm frame and feel better on a 54cm then ride the 54cm, if you like a larger frame go to a 58cm.. I like a larger head tube, I understand what the give and takes are riding all three sizes. Now I’m 51 yrs old and I prefer a larger frame, so that’s is what I ride. When I was a junior I rode a 55cm. If anyone played sports and was told to hold a bat a certain way, we know the weight of the bat and the way you swing and hold it is personal. I raced from the Atlantic to the pacific, if it works for you , use it!Keep the sport clean, please forgive the riders of the 90s who grew up in a drug culture. Putting the blame on Lance is east to do, but isn’t practical.

      Colnago knows how to design great performance bikes and doesn't need to copy what everybody else does. I had a Colnago M10 from 2014 which looks very much the same as this V2R and it was one of the best handling and lightest bikes I've ever ridden.
