Amazing that he could possibly finish, let alone win, with a one sided power meter! What about his left/right balance? I'm surprised he wasn't riding around in circles with a atrophied right leg to goose his power numbers.
In my mind, the only real advantage of disc brakes is that you can get more life out of your expensive carbon rims, but pros don't have to worry about that since they don't have to pay out of pocket for the rims that they race on.
So it was 6.8kg with pm and bike computer. That's interesting as he didn't have either of those in the tt. I am speculating of course because it wasn't weighed in front of the camera.
lead weights. Kind of ridiculous..... A few years ago the weights were very common, now with disc brakes and all the aero stuff their all way over 7kg no weights needed.
I'm a Campy guy from way back. I even replaced the parallelogram pin in an eighties Nuovo Record derailleur. And yes...the free hubs are noisy and robust. It doesn't get any better than a Colnago with Super Record. Over the years I've owned: a Benotto, Basso (2), Klein, Bianchi (2), and now a Pinarello with a Chorus 12 group set. Interestingly I bought the Benotto from Steve Hed. He had a small shop in a garage in the Minneapolis area. Later he had a regular shop in St. Paul, MN where I bought two Bassos and a Bianchi. I love GCN!
Have anyone noticed for bike tech videos, Campy always switches out the wheels to their heavier WTO wheel but the racers actually race on the Bora Ultra tubulars.
It's not only on tech videos that depend on the stage that they are riding. Flat stage: WTO (More aerodynamic) Climbing Stages: Bora Ultra 35 (lighter)
I don’t see anything what makes this bike different from any other grand tour bikes if you remove the label. The latest real Colnago is C64. Also, there is no such thing as tdf winning bike but there is Pogacar who coud win this race with any other faceless carbon frames.
Colnago says it's a 50 cm because it has a bit of a slope on the top tube. If it was perfectly horizontal, like with other manufacturers, it would be closer to a size 53
Frame size is done based on the length of the seat tube. So a sloping top tube reduces the indicated size. Although many manufacturers account for this and quote the effective seat tube, which is as though the top tube was horizontal.
What's so beautiful about it, it looks like the same design that Colnago have produced over the last 10 years or more. Not dissing the brand but not worthy of posting and making all these wonderful claims about it either. I own the M10 and it looks about the same as this.
The gearing is completely of for the time trial bike because he was using a single gearring on the front and I don't think that will have been a 50 because he wouln't have gone that fast with 50-14...
What do I think about the bike? Not much. You can give it to me and I would still be dead last. If you ask me what I think about Tadej Pogacar, then I can give you a meaningful answer.
What do you think of Tadej's machine? Let us know in the comments 👇
Ollie , did you say "tubeless" tyres?
It looks great in yellow.
Thumb sifters? Awesome smart.
Beautiful! Love those WTO hubs, and everything else about this bike!
The look of the rims brakes can not be beaten.
Long live Campagnolo!
Nice! Not to mention it was also Campagnolo’s first Tour-win in quite a few years.
Campy took the whole podium in 98. Hard to believe.
the last one was in 2014 not to bad
Finaly a proper bike! Love the campy.
I came listening to that freehub. Thanks, Colnago.

Isnt this the same video posted 6 months ago? But different commentary?
Yes.
Truly stunning machine
Ollie, Jeremy Clarkson called. He’s suing you for that introduction. 😁
Doug Demuro is also suing 😂
Rim brakes are always the real riders choice! 90% of the pro pelaton is forced to ride disc brakes but 50% of the top 10 ten are on rim brakes.
That is correct.

Aww.. A 50 cm, just my size.. I'll take it when he's done.. 👌🏼

Didn't you review this same bike in March as well? What's changed that it deserves a 2nd identical review?

Smart lad with that block, dont start me on ratios and how they're 'implented' on us mere mortals...lol
Stunning bike, pity italians don't make pedals so that there could be a clean sweep of Italian components.
They do. Assioma pedal power meters. Look it up
@@페퍼K it would be great for them to finish of that beautiful colnago with a pair then, are they a good pedal?
@@페퍼K they look like great pedals, thanks for sharing that 👍

At least the carbon Look pedals are European. Made in France.
I loved!
Ollie. I have a shimano free hub with a brand new 11-34 cassette. I CANNOT hear my hub at all spin. Is that good or bad?
Was this originally filmed with Jon?
What's with the locking nuts on the tube valves?
Tubeless - you need them.
Doesn't this belong to gcn tech? Though you're all the same xD

In what stage did Pogacar use disc brakes? Was it stage 7?
@@kezmanjarek damn must be paying him bonus, using disc for stage that doesnt matter and is pancake flat 😂

Pros always ride one frame size smaller than recommended. Is it so they can save weight, get the seat higher and more in an aero position?
It's because if they ride their 'ideal' size they cannot get the seat up so that's why they ride one size down to get the seat high af
is just that recommended size is incorrect, is that simple. In this colnago case, colnago is notorious for making larger than usual frame
What is that tire size?
25mm.Can sneak the look see at 1:43
