@TheCuddlesPunisher How do you know it ? I mean you're maybe right but on the studio recording the quality is not that good and with the speed the only fact I can tell is that he pull off on the E string. I think it's mostly downstroke but you may be right, sometime Tom recorded with alternate picking and played live with downstroke
@@tracy1210 If you watch the pursuit of tone (the tome delonge documentary) he starts playing m+ms around 13 minutes I believe. He does do alternate picking right up until the F#, G#, F#, E, that's where he uses down strokes and pull-offs. Both of you are right in your own case!

I'm looking to replace the neck on my Delonge Fender Strat because the truss rod is giving me issues. I looked at Warmoth for their necks, and was wondering if there are any "gotchas" I should keep in mind when spec'ing out a neck similar to the factory one. Rock on dude.
nothing to really worry about. consider their compound fretboard radius over the fenders typical 9.5" radius, its very comfortable. cheaper too. i will say the warmoth "standard thin" neck contour feels a bit thinner than most fenders i've played. so keep that in mind. other than that though warmoth is a great place to go for a new neck.
Tom really is an under rated guitarist....the whole cheshire cat album is impressive for a 18 year to play....let alone to even make it up....steps above billy joe or even Cobain...imho of course
