Thanks for watching! Which product you want to try the most? If you already use Innersense which product is your favorite? I want to try more so looking for some recommendations!
I love the foam. I somethimes use it after the gel for extra strong hold. Or on a refresh day. Didn't like the I create finish, it made my hair feel a lot less soft. I do like the dry shampoo. Use it on my scalp after a few days and gives lots of extra volume. Big fan of this brand ;-)
Hi Gena, really appreciate all you do for us 🙏🏼 I was wondering if your planning to do an updated routine using the innersense products you didn’t show such as the I create volume foam etc. and maybe some other combinations you’ve tried to learn how to best use the products on my ultra fine low density curls. Thanks again for all you do 🙏🏼
I tried so many products for my high porosity hair, I saw good results with Jessicurl and bounce curl but I still had dry hair. Innersense has blown me away, silky curly gorgeous hair now ❤️
I know you probably won’t see this as I’m just seeing this video after searching Innersense. I’ve just bought some and was wondering how others use them. I’ve now watched this about 4 times. Thank you as always for a great video 😊
Yes please, I'd love to see you do a routine with the other products! I still haven't hit my groove with these products yet, but that's ok, I'll get there! xxoo
Thanks for your review. I have been looking at this product because it is one of the few products out there with no artificial fragrance. This is a great product for people like me who have allergies.
Hi Gena, your video doesn't show the use of I create Volume. I know that you mention that you use the cream but would you recommend using it in this same routine?
Nice demo. A few weeks ago I ordered the travel size I Create Waves spray and I Create Finish spray. I have 3a fine low density hair. I wanted to try a texture spray, which is what I Create Waves is. And I wanted to try their hairspray. The hairspray didn't have much hold for me. It also weighed my hair down a bit. I Create Waves has good hold. A little goes a long way. If I sprayed it into the lengths of my hair, my hair got a bit stringy as the day progressed and a little too stiff and texturized. This last week I tried spraying my fingertips (3 seperate times), rubbing them together, then gently rubbing the pruduct into my hair by the roots (the same rubbing you do when you fluff). Then I spray one spray on my crown with my head up and gently position my hair. This technique has helped me with volume without putting too much weight on the length of my hair. I'd like to try the products you tried. I would be curious to learn more about the foam. Thanks!
I have been using Innersense for about a year and love it! Expensive but so worth it. They are one of the few brands I can tolerate the fragrance since I am so sensitive to perfumes. I used to use the curl cream, volume, then gel. From another blogger, I learned to use the I Create Volume with a maximum hold mousse (I want to try Innersense foam but haven’t ordered it yet so I used what I had-Kendra 17 firm hold mousse). I Create Volume emulsified goes on first on extremely wet hair after shampoo & conditioner. I am fine without adding the curl cream because I have fine thick hair and it can get weighed down with too much moisture. Then I wrap in the Perfect Hair Care towel for about 15 min. Then add the mousse. This gives the best results for me consistently that I have ever had on my wavy hair. Thanks for the great review!
Thank you for sharing! I first tried the I Create Volume on my hair first and it gave me crazy flash drying and frizz. I should try it after the cream.
You are a blessing 😭🙏🏻 I've been wanting to get innersense but I didn't wanna waste money and I really appreciate the in-depth tutorial bc I don't know how to style my hair bc my mom is a hairstylist but treats my 2c-3a hair as if it's straight 😭 thank you so much❤️❤️❤️❤️
Two things I learned from stylists. If your hair is dull or stringy, use the detox mask to allow your hair to absorb and retain moisture when styled. This makes hair shiny. Second. Apply your products to dripping wet hair, right in the shower and pulse in the products to create curl clumps. Oh, and another to try, that I love is “milking” your curls rather than scrunching the crunch. 100% dry, of course. Leaves my fine hair shiny and curls springy.
Hi! Just wondering, why did you choose the curl cream instead of the leave in? What would most likely be better for fine hair? Have you tried both yet?
I love your videos! They are so helpful to me. I'm a newby. I've only stopped straightening my hair for 5 months. I'm going broke trying so many products. I feel I've narrowed it down to 2. I love Curlsmith and now I've just found Innersense. Can you do a Curlsmith vs Innersense video? I don't know which one to choose! Thank you for all your help!
Hi! I use the following Innersense styling products: first the Volumizing Foam, the I Create Volume lotion and finally I Create Hold. I use a leave in spray from any other brand and then I add some of the foam to my hair, I add the lotion, style with the Denman brush and then I put a little bit of the gel all over the top. I like them! 👍🏼 Thanks fot the video!!!
I forgot to say in the video that I actually shared my quick refresh routine using these products in my morning routine video here: ua-cam.com/video/28l5n7GqJAU/v-deo.html 😊
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for creating it! We have the same curl type. I get frustrated with the “undercurl”. I seem to have a fuller upper base of hair, and it gets thin at the bottom. A few curls sticking out by themselves. You have this, and it looks great. It gives me confidence. Do you get frustrated with this as well?
Nice video! Your hair turned out gorgeous. ~ I have tried a lot of Innersense products over the last two years. I enjoy their shampoos and conditioners, especially the hydrating hair bath and the color radiance conditioner. The natural essential oil scents are nice. They have good slip and provide hydration with protein. I don't care for the stylers very much, they are ok, but there are other brands with much better options for my money (My Soigne, Curlsmith, Bounce Curl).
I have a lot of issues with artificial fragrance due to sensitivity/eczema. I've been using the no added fragrance line from Jessiecurl and bliss - no allergic reaction/itchiness, but the gel really doesn't give me enough hold. I've been looking at the Innersense gel as it is supposed to be a much stronger hold than the spiralicious, without a ton of artificial fragrance. Do you think it would work for my thick/course/high porosity/highlighted/dry (often frizzy) hair? I looked at the ingredients and as it isn't going on my scalp the natural fragrance should be ok, but is it worth trying? Many people like the spiralicious, but my hair needs a lot more hold as I get no crunch/cast from it at all. It looks nice on washday, but even using a bonnet it needs a lot of help the next day. I get frizz as there just is no real hold as well. Price wise it's a little more for the Innersense, but that's fine if it will work well. Many thanks, be well and best wishes.
Thank you! That's a great question. I'm going to try a couple combos in my hand as a test, and then if I find a good match I may try and use some of them with my other favorites. I'll be sure to share on my Instagram or a video soon.
I was so surprised when you mentioned Molly at Botticelli, that's who cut my hair in February. I can't wait to see her again this summer. I'm disappointed that Innersense has Eucalyptus in their products, I'm very allergic to that.
I love this brand! This is what I use. There is definitely a learning curve and I’m not 100% sure I got the right stylers for my hair though (I usually use the leavin in, whipped cream texturizer, I create volume, and I create hold). But I also have the finishing spray and the I create waves spray. When I’m done using them up I want to try the I create lift and curl control.
This video has been so helpful I have recently started using innersense hair products and I love them they feel so nice on the hair. I'm going to buy the cream as I have the same hair type as you and feel my hair needs more moisture as well. I have the foam and it's a great product to use instead of the gel as it has a good hold and also great for volume.
@@GenaMarie I have the leave in spray it's really nice too. Can you recommend a protein mask for my fine hair? My second day hair is always frizzy any tips or products that can help?
Yes a lot of them do. However I read on their website that they're designed to be balanced with moisture. However I still needed the cream for a moisture layer because my high porosity hair gets dry. The shampoos and conditioners have protein, but the cream and the gel I used in this video do not.
@@GenaMarie thank you, I have the shampoo, but have held off on buying more because I do need some protein. Maybe I'll get the conditioner! Thanks again for doing these videos, they are so helpful !!
I'm just getting into using Curly Girl approved products. I've been wearing my hair "natural" for a while now & air drying or only diffusing part way. But I was using salon products recommended to me & bought through my stylist. The shampoo/conditioner was moisturizing & the styling products were curl enhancing or appropriate for color treated hair, but they definitely aren't CGM approved since they contain silicones & other taboo ingredients. I got a bad reaction after my stylist suggested I use Moroccan Oil on my scalp. I'd been having itching & flakiness & was experiencing drastic hair thinning. I was also having issues with the skin on my face. Turns out I had seb derm & using that oil made everything worse. I had to go to a dermatologist & could only use prescription medicated shampoo for about a year. No matter what store bought shampoo I used, the itching & inflammation returned. I thought it might be the fragrance which I am sensitive to but now I'm suspecting the surfactants. I found an all natural unscented shampoo at the local health food store & coincidentally, the ingredients are CGM approved. But finding conditioners without silicones & fragrance has been more difficult. I was wondering if you could comment on the smell/fragrance of this line of products & maybe start including that information in your future product reviews. It is very helpful to those of us who are fragrance sensitive. I'm not sure at this point if I'll be able to give up silicones in my styling products entirely since using oil on my skin or scalp is definitely a no-no & my understanding is that you need to seal in the moisture with something? Right now my hair either looks fuzzy & bushy, dry, or just kinda greasy & dirty. I feel like a chemist trying to figure this moisture protein balance all out. This is my first comment even though I've watched many of your videos 🥰 and enjoy your content very much. My hair is just S curve wavy, probaby 2b on average which I'm fine with. I just want it to be healthy & managable & not have to heat style it for it to look presentable. It's thick but fine & very porous right now. This line of products interests me if it's not strongly scented.
when you say a qarter size amount how much do you mean? like a quarter size of a coin or? :-) can you give an example of how much a quarter size amount is because i get a bit confused hihi :-)
I started using the innersense hydrating cream hairbath and conditioner , and I noticed my hair was really falling out in clumps, and my scalp would be tingly afterwards. I later decided to read the ingredients and saw there was sodium chloride in the hairbath, which is salt! Thinking maybe this is why my hair is falling out and scalp tingly?! ANyone have any issue like this with innersense?
I noticed that you don’t scrunch and pulse your styling products in w that squishing water sound. Does that not work for you ? I have been loving innersense but tonight I attempted to use a denman brush with their products and it was a total fail. Idk what happened. I have so much frizz that I didn’t have using the products without the brush. I’m stumped why the brush could have caused frizz. I used it vertically and took out every other row. Any clue why the brush would cause frizz ? I used the curl creme with hold gel like you did
Sometimes I pulse a few times but for the most part I just scrunch up and squeeze maybe once or twice. No rhyme or reason 😊 I can only use the Denman brush if I have pretty wet hair or else the gel starts to dry quickly and I can’t get the brush through it. I also can only use it when my hair is sectioned so the brush doesn’t accidentally pick up other hairs that have already molded into their shape with the gel. On the flip side, I also have had too much water in my hair before and got a ton of frizz because the gel was too diluted. It’s a fine line I feel like which makes it tough for sure!
Thanks for watching! Which product you want to try the most? If you already use Innersense which product is your favorite? I want to try more so looking for some recommendations!

Whats the difference between the curl memory and hold gels?
Hey, thank you for the video ! But I have a question, Isn't glycerin supposed to be bad for high porosity hair? Thank you !
Nope! There’s a lot of misinformation about glycerin.
When do you apply the "I create volume"?
What do you mean by sealing after using the cream? What product would you suggest?

can u do a video on how to prevent hair loss and how to grow hair thicker faster?
