Noli Me Tangere is one of the novel that was written by our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Maria Clara and Crisostomo Ibarra are the main lead on that novel.
Its one of the most selling novels even in Spanish colonization period
I hope Gma will upload the episodes on UA-cam too with English subtitles so People from other countries can watch it..

Barbie here is a student who is having a hard time learning about "Noli me Tangere" (Touch Me Not). A stressed student and with a not so happy family life like whatt you have seen here. While she was having a nap, she was taken back to the 1800's(?)(somebody correct me if I am wrong🙂) from 2022. She will then learn and experience the story of "Noli Me Tangere". You can just imagine a girl of the modern times going to experience a life way back 1800's. This is a good show actually for high students. At least they will not have a hard time learning the story. I hope there waS like this during my high school days. It would have been easier to do my reports then.🙂

OMG it's been 23 years Simula nung nanood kami ng stage play ng Noli Me Tangere. Ayaw ko pang manood Nyan kasi baka boring kaso requirement sa school hehe. Nung nanood ako. Ang gandaaaaa. Si Bianca Lapus pa ang gumanap na Maria Clara noon. Until now, kabisado ko pa rin sino sino ang mga characters. Excited ako dito. Brings back my childhood memories. Shoutout sa mga JASHS almamater n maligaw dito. Miss ko yung batch naten. Yey!

I am a sucker for fictional fantasy like this and this show might be the first closest show that we'll ever have to Noli Me Tangere, which is one of the most important piece of the Philippine literature. If I were Barbie's character, I would be depressed right there and then knowing that everything I've read will happen right before my eyes. Lol
But I think she's only read until Chapter 3. I still have no idea how the story's gonna go. Hopefully, the later episodes will still live up to the hype they've made from the first few episodes. 🤞🤞

@@queenberuthiel5469 yun nga eh. Sabi rin ng iba, high school dapat yan inaaral, not college. Kung sa college man, more on kay Rizal na dapat yun. I guess, 'plot hole' sa side nila writers. Siguro tinamad na mag-isip ng ibang paraan para papuntahin si Klay sa fantasy world.

Hindi naman sa nambabash ako hehe pero feeling ko nga eh parang nirush nila itong proyekto tapos naka ilang takes kaya sila per scene?.😂 Pakiramdam ko kasi hindi da best na takes yung mga ibang scene gaya nung sa eksena nina Padre Damaso at nung tinyente na iyon. Parang 1 take eh. 😅 Tapos tama ka...medyo 'tamad' nga yung way ng pagkakapasok niya sa libro. It seems like she spent the same amount of time sa libro at sa totoong buhay. Di ba nawala na siya noong umaga tapos kung saan saan na siya hinanap ng nanay niya. Sabi pa ng bestie ni Klay na hindi siya pumasok sa klase. Eh para namang mapipilitan siyang mahalin yung libro at the expense of bagsak na grades. Ang ginawa sana nila eh tuwing gabi sana siya papasok sa libro tas parang nananaginip lang haha. Ikompara natin sa ibang Isekai gaya nung Narnia. Sa Narnia ilang taon na sila doon pero pagbalik nila sa totoong mundo, ilang araw lang ata ang lumipas tapos wala naman silang lugi dun at maganda yung pagkakagamit ng "escapism."
To be fair rin naman, ayos lang naman si Klay haha. Mabilis siyang matuto at madiskarte pa. Mukha namang keri niya yung current situation nya. Grabe ang galing rin ni Barbie.

I'm in no position para i-judge kung ni-rush nila ang paggawa rito sa show or hindi kasi wala akong alam sa behind-the-scenes nila. Pero alam kong mahirap ang paggawa ng ganitong proyekto. Pero tama ka, may mga scenes na pwede sanang pagbutihin pa. Di pa naman siguro sila tapos mag-shoot. Kung gayon, pwede pa silang matuto at gawing mas maganda ang mga susunod na mga episodes. Yun ay kung gusto nga nilang mag-improve. Kaso nadala na ako sa mga shows dito sa Pinas eh. Kapag sikat, ine-extend, tapos pumapanget na.
Not sure kung same tayong iniisip na scene regarding kay Padre Damaso saka tinyente, pero kung oo, I'd say kudos to the team for taking a risk to do that scene. Mahirap kaso gumawa ng 1-take na ganun eh. Pero ayun nga rin, same thoughts, di nga polished yung pagkakagawa, and this is coming from a viewer na walang masyadong alam and experience with it comes to filming.
Yung real-time na pagkawala ni Klay, I think maganda siyang problem sa story. Yun nga lang, di ko alam kung paano nila iso-solve yung problemang yun ang kung maganda ba ang magiging execution duon. Tbh, underwhelming talaga yung scenes nila Mr. Torres(?), story-wise ah. Di ko alam kung anong mga tamang terms gamitin eh. Sayang, magaling na aktor pa naman si Lou Veloso.
maria clara at ibarra is the version of romeo and juliet in our philippine literature, it was taught to schools ... and since they added klay in the story ... we dont know now what will happen to ibarra and maria clara - because they will die at the end.... we dont also know if klay will be in love triangle with ibarra and maria clara....
In Noli, they assumed that crisostomo died...however, in El Fili it says otherwise. Spoiler Alert!

The way how the main character went back to the past reminds me of an ongoing Bxb and BxG Tagalog Story on Dreame. Haha 😂😂 Just by reading, I can really imagine how past people live. It's just a bit disappointing that the story don't have any update for almost a month I think. :(

Noli Me Tangere was written by our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. The Philippines has been colonized by Spain for almost 400 years and during the time of colonization, the Catholic Church governed the Filipinos wherein they imparted their culture, religion and government system. Even though Noli Me Tangere is a fiction story, it portrays the lives of Filipinos during the time Spaniards here in the Philippines. There are parts where it shows the cruelty of the priest. I think it's one of the reason why Rizal was executed.
