You should work for Mamod and get rid of their crappy pop rivets and nylon bush bearings. Then their models would be better value. What a great job you did on the Roadster, thank you for showing, enjoyed watching that.
If you wanted to sell a few pre made versions id consider buying one! Great ideas to apply though, I have been meaning to do something similar to one of my Mamod traction engines, but lack the high pressure/heat copper braising skill, let alone on on such small scale
Hello! Wonderful modification so cleanly done. I was hoping you could tell me where you purchased the valve for the gas tank? I have been looking high and low and can not find a nice small flow valve like the one you used. THANKS!!!
Sir, I want to make one like this steam engine. Could you send me a diagram or map of this engine so that I can make one exactly like it please sir, I will be thankful to you
Hi Joshua, I designed and made the gas burner and tank used but a suitable ones might be available from: www.forest-classics.co.uk/ceramic-burners . Take care Tony.
Hi Tyler, Alas I only made two of these engines over four years ago and have gone on to do other things. I don't think a standard Mamod boiler and burner would make enough steam to power one of these engines. Regards Tony.
It's specifically for the roadster I would like to get an unsoldered boiler so I can silver solder but they don't offer one they do offer the gas kit for the roadster however which I find strage
@@tylerunderberg955 Hi Tyler, Both the Mamods I played with had hard soldered boilers so gas was OK. I don't know if all the Mamod steam vehicles are the same. The other conversion I did is at ua-cam.com/video/63KaN4WZK_8/v-deo.html Take care Tony.
This runs so much better than the stock mamod. You have done such a nice job
Pretty darned cool Tony.
Brilliant! Excellent job! I've always wanted to do the wagon in RC :)

Just wondering where you got the chain drive and gears ? I was thinking of doing something similar . More torque to the wheels .
Hi Michael, Both the gears, sprockets and chain are Mecanno products. Take care Tony.
Hi Tony, where can I find one of those gas conversion kits? I can't seen to find any on ebay.
