- Week 96 in the ongoing Ⓢ series, which follows the construction of a new 13-story senior living building in San Francisco. This is a #construction #timelapse compilation with time lapses and various closeups at various speeds, from the one-week period of November 29 to December 4, 2021, condensing the week's activities into about 39 minutes.
This week is mostly longer, wider time-lapses, as opposed to closeups, although there are some. The work is almost entirely around the doors and the tile in-between. Hope you enjoy the episode!
I don't know yet when the next episode will be. This series has lasted longer than I ever expected, and is colliding with other commitments. It will definitely continue (looks like at least past Week 101 now), but in the new year the publishing schedule may be a little more erratic. From now on, I will just be announcing (via the Community Tab) a few days before an episode comes out, so if there's no announcement you can assume no new episode yet. I'll get them out as fast as I can!

Well, you’d think they’d want to wrap it up before week 104. Two years is a long time to build this structure. You know that COVID made a mess of their schedule but I’m sure both the customers and the contractors want this one done.
And for those of us here from the beginning….boy does time fly!

Yes indeed. And believe it or not (you probably will believe it!) there is actually fin work on into Week 101.
I have watched all of these since the start, might have skipped through them of late but still good, Will you do a walk through the building is finished?, would love to see the inside once its done...
Would love to. But it is a private building and I have no access. So probably not likely, unfortunately.
For a nice modern looking building the doorways, windows and tilework on the ground floor look so old fashioned it makes you wonder what they were thinking

Any update on next episode noticed nothing for over 2 weeks now?
There will be a post on the "Community Tab" shortly before the next one. Unfortunately, I can't say for sure at this time.
Is this a service entrance/guerney lift ? The floor inside is about 4 foot down. Electric lift? Sure look like automatic opening doors.
The whole side of the building we see here will be commercial space, not part of the senior residential operation. The pedestrian entrance to that in from the street on the right side.
The ground floor is commercial space, and I've heard rumors that it will be a restaurant and/or bar, but I don't know for sure. I assume there will be ramps and steps down from the doors, but I imagine they leave that up to the tenant(s) to configure after they lease the space.
