@@TheLittleCraftHouse can I ask a quick question. I’ve just had my first attempt at earrings and had them in the oven at 130 for over an hour and they’re still a little flexible. Is that normal or should they be rigid and hard when done? I used the thickest setting on my pasta machine and I think it rolls out the clay a little too thin as well. I have so many questions haha 😅
Great tutorial - thanks! I just tried resining my first lot and got way too much spill over so this was helpful! I’m keen to find out how you use the acrylic toppers and what the colourful ones looked like when finished. Can you glue earring posts onto the acrylic toppers or just use hooks? Thanks.
Hi! Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful! I’ll pop some pictures up of the other pieces with the acrylic toppers over on my Insta page. (@) thelittlecrafthouseaus I just glue the backs onto them.
Great video! I had some overflowing issues (first timer). It was quite a big chunk. Are there any tools that I can use to remove this? Should I use a sander tool or something like that?
Oh that’s so frustrating! Sometimes if you can get to it before it’s fully set- you can snap/bend the chunks off. If not- I would use a sander to try to remove.
Hello, your video covered everything I had questions about even the honeycomb silicone mats and their advantages!! Thank you so much for this tutorial! Do you have a link of where I can buy the handheld dremel you have? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful! I don’t have a link for the Dremel- but I got it at the local hardware store. I did need to buy the small drill bit and the collet (I think that’s what it’s called) separately- as the one that came with the drill wasn’t small enough.
Hi. Do you do both sides of the pieces with resin? If so do you just wait for the front to be completely dry and hardened and then do the other side? Will this cause a gathering of excess resin on the sides of the piece or show some kind of join where the resin meets? Thanks x
Hi. I have a question, when I put the clay in the oven for 30 mins, it’s color change, the white obviously changes, and other in some way. Could you please guide? 😔
I bought 4 polymer clay cowboy colour from you guys the other day and when I tried conditioning it, it cracked no matter how long I tried conditioning it...

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy!
So happy to have found your channel. I’m new to polymer clay and have just placed an order on your website 😊

@@TheLittleCraftHouse ok thank you for that information! 😊
I have been looking for a video of the sanding and buffing process.
Oh my gosh! This is an amazing tutorial! May I ask where you buy your charms?
Hi! Thank you! We sell them in our store!

I only do one side :)
Can you use a paint brush?
How much working time do you have with this resin please

Check your temp. Oven thermometers are great to check the accuracy. If it’s too hot the white tends to go yellow/brown.
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!

Hi Kathleen. Yes we have replied to your email and are still awaiting the photos as required by our supplier.
I kept feeling like i had to resin coat both sided of my earing peices (im just starting out)
You can if you want- but I just do the front. Nobody sees the back 😊
