A long time polymer clayer this is my first foray into resin use and I really appreciate your demo! Thank you!👍✌️🫶😊
You’re welcome, I glad it was helpful for you 😁
@sherbearsclay I was wondering, did you also find those little condiment cups on Amazon and what size are they?

Hi Sherri From Australia 🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺🐨🇦🇺💕💕💕Apparently If You Brush A Thin Coat Of Satin Glaze It’s Supposed To Help The Resin To Not Pull Away From The Sides 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
@@kerryhall7506 thats interesting I never heard that before. I might have to try that. Thank you ☺️
Thank you!! So happy for the great tips AND how to add glitter to the back :)

Great video, Sis 😘
Thank you sweetie 😘
I’m not sure why, but when I use a paintbrush it either doesn’t cure correctly or it takes over 7 minutes to dry. Just a hint, put your paint brush in 90+ alcohol and you can clean it. I then only use them for resin, whether UV or long cure projects.
That’s very strange that it would take that long to cure with such a thin layer, also thank you I will try the alcohol to clean brush. Thank you 😊
Very good video! Please can you tell me how you clean your brushes from the remains of UV resin? Thank you!
I just use a baby wipe and then wrap with saran wrap and put in a dark area on desk shelf
How do you clean the resin off your brush?
@@darlene6969 I don’t, I just wrap the top with cling wrap and put in dark area and reuse again later.
can i use this same method using polymer clay and UV resin to make flatware handles? is it water resistant? .. thank you
Polymer clay once baked is water resistant and does not have to be covered in resin or glazes. You can use any glaze compatible with polymer clay to seal mica powders, inks, paints etc. on the clay if used but if just using clay only no sealer is needed. I personally have never made flatware handles but in my opinion anything that may come in contact with food is a no no with uv resin.
@@sherbearsclay thank you so much for the tips!
You’re welcome just be careful with any resin and things dealing with food, make sure you do research and that they are food safe. 😃
What is that mat called that you're using

Can anyone tell me how to avoid the holes in my jewelery piece that i made for earrings. I cant drill through the resin afterwards. Dont have the tools
You really just have to move very slowly, and don’t go right up to the hole just next to it, by doing that you should not get resin in the holes
@sherbearsclay thanks but i tried that, and i suck at it. Lol
@@susanmartin870 oh no I’m sorry to hear that, the only thing I can say is practice which I’m sure you heard a million times since that’s what everyone usually says
clorox wipes clean resin of brushes. I do it all the time.
Good to know 😊 thank you so much

I clean up resin with alcohol. Rubbing alcohol 98%

Working slow is the KEY 🤦 and I'm always wayyy too impatient to see the finished product that i hurry the process up 🤦 and the edges pull in 🤦 baaaahahaaaaa 🥴
