      Hi! clay brands have different temperatures and times to bake but in most cases, you can bake polymer clay at 275 degrees F for 30 minutes per ¼ inch of clay thickness.

    great videos!!! question how do you get your clay to be so easy to work with and not sticky. Mine will stay sticky and it drives me nuts, gets stuck in the cutters or on my mat so I get nervous Im gonna dent my piece. Thank you in advance

    • @heartboxclayworks
      @heartboxclayworks  2 роки тому +1

      Here’s some factors that my cause it
      type of clay - different brands have different firmness, I’m using sculpey premo it’s easy to work with. And when it always stuck in the cutters try dipping your clay cutters in flour or cornstarch before cutting.
      temperature - if its hot your clay will be sticky try to put it in a fridge or in a plastic bag then submerge in cold water for a minute before using them.
      I hope this helps. 😊

    • @lotanarga

      @@heartboxclayworks thank you so much for all your tips. Turns out I was using the most sticky clay ever (sculpey lll) I have since purchased some premo and it works amazing!!!
