- The sales are on fire right now! It's time to get your picking shoes on and go find some treasure, just don't forget the flash light. Here's a video showing my latest vintage tool haul, and this haul, like many others, is sure to motivate you to get out there. Every day vintage and antique tools and axes are pulled from they're resting place and adopted by a new Craftsman.
oh youre the dude who gets all the stuff i want before i get there and they raise the prices on the leftover junk.
The early bird gets the worm.
Awesome finds. I got to get out there and start looking. I travel for work, so it's nice to be able to see what different states have to offer.
Keep up the great vidz!
Yes sir, different regions hold different patterns for sure. Good luck out there.
The Bonney guy is likely Resto Rob. He is in Colorado now. I sent him a full set of those ratcheting wrenches less one size that I picked up a few years back. I just subscribed having read your comment on George's channel, @uwannawatch. Great guy. I gave him the three straight Kraeuter wrenches that I had found while early picking at the Jacktown engine show.
That punch lok hammer is used in conjunction with a punch lok tool from Dixon. They make a line of clamps (I used them on industrial hoses) that you crank a tool to tighten and then you whack the crap out of it to lock it in place with a built in pointy punch. The hammer is soft because harder hammers have a tendency to shatter, at least that's what the fools told me when learning about it back in the day lol. Awesome haul there chief, love the split head hammer, that thing's pretty cool!
Awesome pickups man and sounds like you got them for a smoking deal--Bravo!
Bro, been a minute, glad to see you back!!! Hitting some yard sales this weekend!!
Good luck out there man! I had pneumonia for a bit. It messed me up for 2.5 months, trying to get caught up is a pain.
@@old_iron_axe_and_tool glad you’re feeling better! Looking forward to seeing more vids, but take ya time, no rush, no stress is worth that!
Punch- lok is a banding company that makes SS banding for hose couplings.
Nice to see you again. Great finds. Looking forward to the restores
Hey Gerald, it's good to be back at it! Had pneumonia! Restores are on the way. Probably a giveaway soon to, those are fun.
Glad you are feeling good. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks again for the great content. Stay well!

The audio gets out of sync at the start of the shovel?
Nice grabs, great video!
Nice Haul 👍 old scarce shovel types are cool. Got a few
Plomb was based in LA, they canged their name to PROTO in the 40's.
there was a couple legal disputes with plumb going back to 1921 where it was ruled that they could keep their similar name if they stuck to making mechanics tools, then another lawsuit followed after they had started making hammers punched and cold chisels again.
that knife was made by Western out of Boulder colorado, the forked tang with H shaped handle wafers was a design patented by them.
It looks like a common L66 which might have the model number on the guard.
Hey Tyler. Glade you chimed in, you've always got some good imput. Thanks
"some proho" 🤣
Best Jab at the guy that built his channel on axes and tools!
World Ends! The least of your worries! None of us will be here in one piece! Two probably or more!🇨🇦😂
Hey bro. I emailed you on hanging some axes and haven’t heard back from you. Hope all the best.
When purchasing old hammers with decent handles I like to remind myself how much a new handle cost at the hardware store (20+$). Makes it easy to justify buying more hammers :)
What brands do you recommend for new but traditional style hatchets? Preferably american made.
Council tool.👍
Hey would it be alright for me to send you an axe or hatchet handle ?
That knife with leather ring handle is a case knife maybe?
Where does one buy that?
At 8:16 that’s a Buck knife
