Great stuff and video for me the best buy must be the spiral screwdriver Thanks for sharing your time George 🍺🍺👍👍
Thanks Brian! Sorry I couldn't find any of those green screw drivers this week. The wife must be slacking.🤣🍺🍺🍻
My favourite is the ratcheting drill, simply because it is just like the one my Dad taught me to use as a child.
cool story....tHanks for commenting
That's cool.. I will do my best to bring it back to it's glory.
It it works like other soldering "guns", the gun will only heat up when you are pulling the trigger. 😀👍
Definitely a cool lawn mower.
Right?? Had to bring it home so it can run again.
The pistol iron is the best. I can't wait to see that mower restored. 👍
Hey Rob. I'm pretty excited about the mower myself!
Wow! Sweet Mower! Awesome haul! 😃👍
Thanks John!
The rack of hardware with missing drawers is OK because you can put taller or larger stuff in some trays if there is an empty spot above it. 😀👍
I got a plan for it
The mower will make a great resto video !
Thanks Jim.. I'm sure it will get tens of views!🤣
The old mower is cool!
Too cool not to be brought back to working order!
The rat rod mower is killer...I'll know you'll do it justice brother, as always!
Thanks Man! I'll give it my best shot.
Hi George, great finds there, think my favourite was the first alligator wrench.........until you bought the lawnmower out at the end!!! 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇬🇧✌️
Hey Phil, The alligator wrenches are always fun to find..but I couldn't walk away from that mower it's gonna be a fun restoration but..not until spring.
Looking forward to seeing that mower going!
Me too! It's just too cool not to see it running again.
The push drill is going to be sweet!
Thanks Brother! I'm curious to find out who made it.
Good job on the tappered screw find! I've been looking for four of those bolts to mount a fence onto a table saw. You are right....harder to find.
Ya I got lucky with that.
All kinds of good stuff in this haul... everything but that Jeff Gordan hat that is..😅 I am looking forward to seeing the grass cut with that awesome puch mower! Good stuff Mr. George
Thanks Big Brother! I guess I'll take that hat out of your box..🤣🤣 That mower is gonna need a lot of work but we'll get it done in the spring.
Nice haul Super George! That mower is epic! My dad had an old two stroke when i was a kid but it wasn't a Craftsman. We used it forever but i don't know what ever happened to it. I always liked the "teeth" on the front of the deck. Cool find brother
Thanks Captain Ivan! That mower is Sweet and those teeth bring it up a notch on the cool factor!
I see you need new vintage hat! Snap On racing is good! Thanks to the video... 🎅🏻👍🏻🇫🇮🔩🔧
Thanks my Friend.
I have to admit I like the handy Andy tools you got I also liked the soldering gun I really enjoyed that wooden box With all of the soldering in it and the Nickalson files I would make a new cardboard box and use the old box on it
Thanks..That's a good idea I might have to do that!
If you get that lawn mower running that will be sweet. The little pack of files are cool they should come in handy. It would be cool if you could complete the little toy tool kit and restore it. Good stuff. Take care.
Hey Mr. Dale! The Handy Andy set is going to get passed on to somebody else for their collection. I'll get that mower running in the Spring just needs a long soak before I can mess with it. Thank you again for that care package you sent me!
I like the ratchet screwdriver- I restored a Stanley in the past if you wanna know how its done 🤣 - I can't wait to see your version 👍
Oh my version will be something all right! 🤣
The mower is sweet! My son bought one VERY SIMILAR to that at an estate sale. I don't remember if it is a craftsman, but someday we will fix it up. 👍😀👍
I hope you guys have fun with it! These are just too cool to just sit around.
#1 craftsman mower
#2 bushing set
Thanks Man!
Nice deals. Three in one oil bottle , needle files, hardware , soldering gun, excellent finds. Handy Andy really takes me back. And that old classic Craftsman mower, awesome! That mower was my favorite. Gotta say the price on that bushing tool set was a steal! Great video brother!
Mike,Mike, Mike! The Handy Andy set was a big surprise to find. 3in1 bottle is cool the wife swooped it up before I even saw it! I'm pretty excited to do the mower it's cool factor is turned up to 11. I'll give it a nice soak over the winter and we'll get going on it in the spring! Ya that bushing set was for me a favorite ..been needing one for a while so finding one at that price was awesome! Take care.
Neat haul, love the mower can't wait to see it done. When you do the Rachet drill in case you don't know, watch out when you remove the screw on handle, there's a pretty hefty spring that will surprise you. Ask me how I know, lol. See you next time!
Thanks! I'm curious how do you know? 😁 Seriously thanks for the heads up!
Another great haul! That soldering gun is hilarious! Great 3in1 bottle! In love with that lawnmower, you MUST restore it!
Thanks Fred! I had to have that soldering gun I mean who wouldn't buy it? I'll be doing the mower in the spring.
That's some great finds George really like the soldering gun pretty unique and great find on the Nicholson files they are my favorite I finally got my tools back been really sick lately don't have my voice back yet hopefully I'll get some videos soon I enjoy watching but I also miss doing videos take care bro
No sh@@? I'm sick now too. Hope you feel better! Looking forward to seeing you back.@@Donthetoolman
@@Uwannawatch thanks bro hope you get to feeling better also hope I can get back on here soon too until then keep up the good work
Hope you give that mower some interesting pinstripes, thanks again
We'll see...
Looks good George!
Thank You!
My choice are the hardware, especially the vice jaw set screws and the mower. I would restore that too. I’m a sucker for hardware and have more than I could use in two lifetimes.
Those needle files are great. I have a couple of sets that get used constantly. They’re amazing for getting into tight spaces.
Great buys this week. Hope that mower frees up as I’m looking forward to seeing you work on it.
Thanks My Brother! Some of this hardware is getting really hard to find now. You know i like to hand file so those needle files will be put to work..Oh I'll get that mower freed up..I actually enjoy small engine work and It's gonna be a gem. Take care and tell the Missus make room on the couch I'm coming over for movie night.😅🍿🍻
Well gone with the clear coat George ,that bottle definitely needed saving ! Vice jaw replacement screws ??? That's like finding gold nuggets !! Like your $8 hardware buy . Move the Row of missing draws to the top and you can put oversized stuff in the next row .
Thanks Jim! I Had to save that label! Don't see those 3in1 bottles very often. I was so happy to find that hard ware! I got a plan for that hardware bin.
Another great haul, love that revolver soldering gun , and the oil bottle 😊
Hey Tony! That soldering gun is the greatest! I have absolutely no need for it but I had to have it😁. The little oil bottle is cool my wife was proud to find it!🍻
I sure like cheap hardware cases full of odds and ends pieces that sure come in handy for those odd repairs for friends and neighbors.
That is so true right.
Scoutcrafter has one or more Handy Andy sets.
I think I saw that silver spray painted alligator wrench at the Golden Nugget a couple weeks ago!
I picked it up at the Berlin Market. That vendor could have been up there. You know these guys travel like rusty gypsies.
5:00 What can be expected with old solder. I tend to save it but not sure if works well with age. I hear you are mentioning to get ride of the 50/50. I must have a dozen rolls floating around. When I go to sweat pipe I'm working off the new rolls. tHanks for the video
I like the oil bottle!!
Thanks Brother! That little relic is pretty sweet isn't it.
I remember seeing a couple of those in my Grandfathers tool shed back in the 60s! @@Uwannawatch
That lawnmower is fantastic can't wait to see the restoration and find out how old it is and the horsepower that motor is that thing is just cool
Thanks Michael! I will be getting to it in the spring. It's gonna need a long soak and a lot of love but we'll get it going and Ya I intend to use it.😁
george sorry i'm late but dealing with a touch of the flu, great haul you can buy replacement trays for storage box that ratchet driver would make a great resto love that craftsman mower man i remember seeing those square deck mowers when iwas a kid but this is new never saw a craftsman one another good resto a 2 part one sse ya next time brother
Hey Ronald! Sorry you ain't feeling good. I got that crap too and I think it's going through the rest of the house now... My poor wife she'll have 4 cases of man flu to deal with. LOL I got a plan for the hardware storage bin and we'll be doing the ratchet driver soon. The mower will have to wait until spring. Hope you feel better soon! Get some rest and we'll catch up soon.
will do and yea i know how she feels i had to cook thanksgiving day dinner with it@@Uwannawatch
Great video. You peaked my curiosity. I would like to see you make a tool roll. My wife collects sewing machines. I am sure she would help me out if she saw a how to video. Heck, I might even try myself if she coaches me.
I Have a friend with a shop. I drop them off to her to do. When I get them back I will show them completed.
The mower is the best
Right!!
Amazing what a person can accomplish for $5 if they know what they're doing.
Thanks Man
Hi George. I like the Nicholson needle files and the vintage mower. Is that mower deck aluminum? It kind of looks that way - that is going to be a fun restoration!
Hey Mr. Bill! Those files are really handy and for that price I'm happy to have them. Yes Sir the deck is aluminum.
New sub! Nice haul! Good luck on the hunt!
Thanks Man! I try to upload a flea market haul every Sunday and restorations every Wednesday.
I will be watching, tool videos never get old! I've only done hauls so far but plan to do some light restorations in the near future. @@Uwannawatch
I have a saw for the handy dandy set kicking about but it has a red handle
Cool Mr. Dale from Dale's workshop just found a piece from the red set.
Kilborne and Bishop alligator wrench...
Yep! Just cleaned it up this afternoon!
Nice haul. Didn’t the Handy Andy stuff come as a kit in a small to medium wooden box?
Thanks..Yes it did. I'll be sending these to a friend who collects them. He's got the original box.
It looks like a Yankee screwdriver
Ya, we'll find out when we restore it. But I think it might be North Brothers out of Philadelphia.
You find a ton of stuff my question is how big is your shop how about a outside picture
12x20 detached garage. Maybe I'll do a shop tour when I do my spring cleaning.
