Oh my, these cards are just so pretty. The colors you chose and the bright white is stunning. I can hardly wait to try these techniques after church tomorrow. Thank you for sharing…
Hello Amy. These 2 cards are so beautiful. They turned out gorgeous. I wish you weren't so hard on yourself, you are an amazing artist and we love everything out do. Enjoy your journey. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us. I learn so much from you. ❤
The blue one, that looks so cool! It reminds me of sand on the beach that the wind blew it into perfect, I can't think now. Perfect lines I guess. Idk, I love it
Both cards are lovely, thanks for reminding me about this technique. I liked the edges and angles in the second background. I remember someone doing that ink blending with torn cardstock as a stencil…. You know back when stencils were rare and expensive 😂
What a great technique! I’ve watched Kristina do this before and even made a few cards with a faux dip background but your tips were super helpful and I loved the design with the snowflakes. I hope to try this sooooon! 😍
So pretty. I could probably do this watercoloring. I know everyone says to just practice and you get better at it. I loved your cards as they make you happy. Thanks.
These are so incredibly cute! I’ve not seen this technique before, but I’m definitely going to try it this weekend! Thank you so much for showing this.
Such a cool technique & these cards are beautiful. One of my favorite things I’ve learned from you is to decorate the inside of my cards. Love you & your channel so much.
Amy these cards are so pretty!! I used this technique in my holiday card series a few years ago and I loved it. Might have to add it back in this year. Love your color choices.
These are divine! Missed seeing these earlier, but SO want to try the faux dip dye. I've always loved Kristina's dip dye, but never actually tried it. On the New Year 'to do' list now. Thanks for the inspiration as always Amy xoxo
Such beautiful cards and the effects are amazing. I shall have to get out my watercolour paints too and just have an inky/painterly play. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing as always 🙂
They both turned out beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I am going to make some journaling cards/postcards using this technique for my Santa claus is coming to town junk journal I am working on. Thanks for the inspiration.
You are SO right about the red inks - I just (foolishly) tried an emboss resist, blending red ink over white embossing 🫣… And the spent ages going over all the embossing with a white paint pen. Still have slightly pink embossed lines on my red background. Have decided it‘s a look - and that I have to listen to Amy better in future 😂. Gorgeous cards, gorgeous snowflakes (share the mild addiction on these)!
ugh yessss red/pink is difficult lol. It's why I always say red is a bear in all it's forms to deal with - but for so many projects they're the best colors to use we just all have to find ways to make it work around their insanity LOL!!
I like both colors. They look great. The white snowflakes look really good. Love the cards.
I absolutely love both cards! It looks like someone is looking up a hill with the different colored layers, up to a night sky! Beautiful!!!
Oh my, these cards are just so pretty. The colors you chose and the bright white is stunning. I can hardly wait to try these techniques after church tomorrow. Thank you for sharing…
