So great to see this dude back. Really enjoy his style of content. No gimmicks, no stupid overproduction. Just some very talented guy letting his work speak for itself. Bravo sir. Deadly!
You have a lot of followers that are paying attention to your videos We are all very very proud of you, you're work ethics, your drive to continue until it's right. Your morals and your ethics make you an outstanding person. Again we are all very proud of you.
I love seeing young folks active and living purposefully. I just grab one of your hoodies. Keep up the great work. I’m 55 grandma and am 90% complete with my off grid log cabin. I cut and moved every log myself. It was hard and backbreaking but the rewards are so sweet. My grandchildren should be here next summer to enjoy the cabin here in the Black Hills of SD.
You've gone from an interesting UA-cam creator to a bit of a phenomenon. The best part of it all is that you didn't start with these resources and knowledge. You thought big and worked big, and didn't give up, and you've become a master log home builder through sheer desire and effort. Keep it up, we'll be here with you.
been here since you built the first cabin and was living off grid some 5 or 6 years ago now i think, always improving content never just getting complacent. Hell of a job you’re doing up there. my fiancée doesn’t understand when she sees you’re cutting those beautiful straight lines with a chainsaw how much talent that takes. merry christmas and happy holidays!
Congrats on 100 k. Well deserved. Took too long in my opinion. You are an inspiration for all of us. Keep driving forward as the house is looking beautiful!!
Man, that's a big task for our fella to handle alone. I wish ya had some help, even if only for a week or so. Congrats to you, young fella . You deserve the recognition . 😊
You've come so far, brother, from the "inline" garage. Loved following your journey. From ignorant to knowledgeable and further to truly competent. As a 72 year old American Vietnam veteran, who wears the Canadian poppy, I appreciate you wearing one also. Respect for all veterans, thank you, son.
my trapper youtube friend ... most people would never go after the complications of your trusses. I will say you are a master log home builder !!! Congrads !!!!
I have to thank you 🙏. I came back from my house in Tennessee feeling down because I'm never there but twice a year as I have to keep working here in Wisconsin. Your commitment to your work and your genuine self brought my mind back to reality and away from self pity. You're my superhero and my inspiration. Thank you 🙏.
It has been a while since I stumbled across the video when you installed the 2 solar panels for the small trapper cabin. I about died laughing at the raw language and accent (I am from Missouri, U.S. by the way) . I have been following since and admire your growth and work ethic. You should indeed be very proud. Great job!
I cannot imagine one person taking on this build, learning so much and being able to learn so much, and you're so young! it's honestly mindblowing - hats off. those joints look like WOW. soo complicated I can't even get my head around it with you explaining. just fantastic.
Come on people let's get there. Tell your friends and family. This kid is one of the hardest workers on UA-cam and he deserves it. It's gonna be a long cold Saskatchewan winter.
As usual, outstanding work ethic and skills mate. Make sure you keep these videos as evidence, coz when this house is finished, nobody is gonna believe it’s your first ever build. Stay safe. 🇬🇧
Holy shit dude! It’s like you’ve been doing this your whole life! I remember when you bought the books and I thought to myself I wonder where this will go… I had no idea the level of craftsmanship you would take this to! Your grandchildren’s grandchildren will talk about this! Finish this and smile the rest of your life!
I am absolutely in awe watching you and your skill, determination and unwavering attitude. You probably know this and I am sure I am not the first to say you are a one of a kind young man. Anybody would be happy to know you and call you a friend or mentor. Thanks for sharing all your hard work with those of us who admire you.
you really should be proud of yourself! you still are the craziest dude in youtube in my opinion doing that all by yourself with no previous experience. and the perfection you execute things is unreal. i think a lot of people don't understand the amount of work going into building things like that. for example, how many days or hours did you actually put into this amazing piece of your future house that mad a 35 minute video?
Thank you my friend and yes you are exactly right. I worked many many days on the truss and what would probably surprise a lot of people is that I spend huge amounts of time filming and editing as well.
You amaze me, how you build totally by your self. I love watching your channel, I’ve been watching for a very long time. I will continue watching you no matter what..

You have the qualities of a great mentor instilling a positive honest atmosphere in your videos. Cool pictures of the partridge. And as I tuned in you reached 99.9 K subscribers, so congratulations - 100K come on! - Stay Safe my Friend
Dude, I'm only a few minutes into this video, but had to fire a comment. As simple as it seems, I hope people can appreciate how fucking good the McGivering you did on that old screwdriver to get that bolt out. Innovation second to none!
You are really doing an amazing job on this. That log working skill you have is incredible. You could make a lot of money building these log homes as a full time business after this.
I'll say it again... definitely some of my favorite and THE best content on youtube that exists. Thank you for posting all this genius work that you produce. Please stay safe and keep on truckin brother. Just tremendous.
When that joint popped right together and fit perfectly I had the biggest smile of my day. Deadly work and figuring there! One dude, wrestling giant logs and look at that precision, beautiful work there young man. Enjoying the journey, thanks for sharing it with us.
It makes me happy as well to see that it fits . Idk if anyone sees it but for me you are a kind of Genius in your field i dont think there is anyone at your age building that kind of quallity stuff. Keep on building brother. God bless you!
I'm SO glad your new video is up and perfect timing as I just drove from my house in Tennessee back to Wisconsin. I was worried that you hadn't had a video in a long while. I'm so excited to see what you've done. Thank you 🙏😊.
Every single time, every single time you look out the window, you will recall the pulling, measuring, adjusting, and feel that stretch across your back, and you know what that is? I'ts growing up. How beautiful it is.
I am truly impressed with your work ethic and your fearlessness to do things that you have never done before. You can accomplish anything you try because you have that attitude.
What you’re doing is not easy to learn. You have a talent and a vision that a lot of people work a lifetime to develop. Keep working hard and I believe that your life has no boundaries, sky’s the limit!!!.

Amazing work bro! You learned so fast. You are the SURGEON of timber..lol..You have a set of brass balls to undertake a job of this magnitude with no experience. WELL DONE!
Absolutely stunning work and results! That's a beauty for sure...🎉🎉 you make complicated seems so easy. But we can all see the extra steps you take just to get to your location and set up and get prepared. Nothing I have seen you do looked very easy. But you broke the job down into small parts and just got to it until you had success. Generations of pride and respect of workmanship to come and to surely pass down. Undeniably, constructed through one's own hard work, determination, perseverance , self-education, and an amazing natural ability. The intense learning and skill building, and practicing producing your own creations. Inspiring attitude. These amazing videos of your life and your Creations will be timeless for Generations.
I watched the video of you building the practice piece and was impressed by that... this brings it to a whole new level.. your parents must be very proud of the man that you've become... oh and thank you for wearing the poppy
For what its worth from a guy whose sled is picking up speed on the back side, there will be times in the future when you will fully appreciate this accomplishment. Well done young man!

I hear you about the solar, I live full time in my Sprinter in Northwest Montana. I spent a few thousand dollars that I really didn't have on all that eco flow products, oh don't get me wrong they work great, if they are charged. Like you, there is not many sunny days in winter, it's a constant struggle just to have power. The Eco Flo are not good at all. I did buy a flexible all powers 200 w solar panel, that I just leave on my windshield 24/7 , rain and snow and Frost has not bothered it a bit. The only time I take it off is when I run down the mountain to town once every couple weeks. Even on cloudy days the all powers 200 w flexible solar panel trickles in anywhere from 16 to 23 Watts. I'm sure thankful you make these videos, I truly enjoy watching them.
Well friend sure Is looking awesome. Hardest part your working on now, in my opinion. Determination is key and you got it. Super cool having that weasel running around camp. I really like them. I can’t wait to hear from ya in the future. Good luck with everything and stay safe out there friend👍👍
