This is still epic and iconic even in 2024

Timeless masterpiece*
2025 and 2026 here!!
I'm glad to see Flashback FM still posting T2 videos after all these years. 👍
One of the few movies where the sequel was better than the original and the original was pretty damn good itself!
Absolutely
Original is better
I prefer the first one, but this one’s still amazing
One thing I love about this film is the cinematography and colour grading.
The blue tint, the atmospheric lighting, the contrast between cold shades and warm filters is immaculate. The colour grading encapsulates the dark, gritty, cold-steel tone whilst composition and blocking is expertly done.
The lighting and filters also compliment the aesthetic of skynet; the T-800 & T-1000. Enhancing the overall VFX. Each frame and sequence is well staged well executed.
The film is a majestic piece of cinema.
Sarah: Chopper's coming in!
T-800: It's him.
Get to da choppa!
Nice of that man to let the trio take his truck. Also, an underrated part of this movie is all the memorable minor characters that show up. Some of them only appear for maybe a minute at most, but the actors give it their all.
I think it would have been better if the T-1000 got its truck in the same way. And technically, it would have made more sense because it would have started driving sooner if it had just jumped in the truck.
Another thirty-plus years can pass and I'll STILL regard this as the greatest action movie ever 😊
Closest thing we have to a superhero in real life is Arnold ❤
The fact that almost all of this was practical effects just blows me away. They legit flew a helicopter under a bridge.
1:13 - 1:25 absolutely incredible camerawork, stunt work and filmmaking.
By this point of the movie the T800 was badly damaged and you knew he was going to be destroyed soon! Was sad to see him go downhill
@ 2:31 you can see the T-1000’s hand still in its liquidity metal form.
Don’t forget the T-1000 having a third middle hand controlling the chopper joystick. Not sure if it was the stunt sequence needing someone flying the chopper or that it’s an Easter egg showing him forming a third for driving.
@@thelastdragon5551In fact he had two extra hands. Two for reloading MP5 and two to fly the chopper.
Great catch! 👍
@@thelastdragon5551 true!
The greatest Action sci-fi of all time
The scene has good internal logic. T-800 doesn't do the risky rear-ending manoeuvre until it really has to be done. Sarah has an assault rifle and in theory has a good chance to outrange/outgun T-1000 who only has an MP5 submachine gun.
Once Sarah is shot, T-800 knows that he no longer has his rear gunner, and T-1000 can get very close and either kill John with his submachine gun or jump over and get to John. So he had to take the risk and ram the chopper, which temporarily slowed down T-1000, but also had the unintended consequence of the burst tyre, which leads them to truck, which leads to the steel mill.
As they evacuate, Sarah, although wounded, remembers about the shotgun which will in handy later. She realizes that (a) she's wounded and cannot aim as precisely and (b) from now on T-1000 will be at a very close range and a shotgun could be more effective at slowing him.
You should be hired by @cinemawins or @cinemasins, great observation
A legendary classic movie 🫡
1:53 That chase and Rollover is a nod to T1.
Serius.. I can't stop watching this movie, even though I've watched it thousands of times..
❤
#Terminator2..
It is a magnificent detail that t 1000 uses the helicopter by making a third arm for itself while changing the magazine of the weapon..
One of the best action movies ever... Super cool
Um dos melhores filmes de ficção científica de todos os tempos. Nota 10.
The greatest action movie of all time
Underrated still relevant epic after all these years there aren't movies like this 2024 still watching.
I watched this movie again last friday 😅
Glad they gave Rab C Nesbitt a cameo in the film 2:14
Upload truck tanker chase in Fullscreen
Easily the greatest action sequence in the history of cinema
Hollywood just doesn't make action scenes like this anymore. Don't get me wrong, I can understand why. There's like over a dozen moments throughout the film where someone or multiple people actually could have died if something went wrong. I can get the greenscreen and bluescreen CGI route Hollywood prefers because it's usually safer and much cheaper. That being said, there's not a single shot in this clip that makes me think, "Wow that looks fake. It's obviously computer generated." Instead I'm watching it and thinking to myself, "Wow that's real! They actually did that!" The fact that some modern movies, produced by big studios with big budgets, can't convince me that what I'm watching is actually real, despite all the technical achievements in special effects that have been made in the 30 years since Terminator 2: Judgment Day's release, says a lot about modern day filmmaking. Just compare your immersion in this scene to what you feel watching any of the action scenes from the subsequent Terminator movies. There's a noticeable difference.
Yeah. In this helicopter chase, they use an actual helicopter to fly it under the bridge controlled by a Vietnam veteran to make this realistic for the audience to believe it.
It also speaks to Cameron’s last Avatar movie. While the movie is jam packed actions, the usage of complete CGI kills it for me. Maybe because I was burnt out by 1.5 hrs of nonstop action. T2 seems like it had the right amount and hardly any CGI.
@@thelastdragon5551Avatar is supposed to be fantastical because it takes place on another world hence the elaborate CG environments. What did you expect? Indians jones 🤦🏿♂️
They don’t use practical effects anymore because it’s a logistical nightmare. Much easier and cost effective to use CG and VFX. I’d also like to add that mission impossible movies use a lot more practical effects similar to T2. Tom cruise used and flew in a real helicopter for MI:Fallout.
@1:15 to 1:25
To think Cameron filmed all that from an another helicopter without any camera drones
2:24 Fun Fact: CGI was ultimately used for this scene after 6 different stunt actors were tragically killed when being stabbed by an actual metal blade.
That's smart --'
Fun Fact: it's a puppet and a real (prop) blade.
Terminator 50 years later
Samurai Jack also 50 years later
Bro this and dark fate and genesis are my 3 favourite
The filming and the quality were tens of years ahead of its time.
An absolute classic 😮 😃
2:21 You will believe that a man made out of liquid metal just stabbed a man straight through his body with his blade hand.
Fun fact: The cameraman was scared of the risk of this scene so James Cameron himself got behind the camera and did it, what a madman!
-madman- *Genius !
The three arms was always crazy to see
0:56 god damn I didn't notice till now, T-1000 uses 3 hands while flying choper and shoot :O
She should've shot at the rotor. At that distance it's pretty easy to down a chopper. Also, the chopper was really flying under the viaduct. Normally they would never do such a stunt but the guy that flew it had balls of steel.
Anyone notice a stunt double holding the control to the chopper when T-1000 was reloading?
No thats just the T1000 forming a 3rd hand to use in that scenario.
Legendary clássic...my fave from the saga and One of the greatest Sy fy ever made....
I was so mesmerized, that at 3:42 I was surprised that the movie didn’t continue
Q o 7 filme seja tão bom quanto esse 🙏🇧🇷
Just curious the guy originally flying the helicopter, didn't look regular law enforcement, would he'd had been given an automatic weapon the t1000 obtained, to fire at Sarah Connor?
Или вообще надо просто в бак простейший вариант и все и ещё быстрее повредится жидкая машина

Really, "TRUE";..............."TECHNOLOGY" (Hi-Fi, Sci-Fi) 'FILM/CINEMA/MOVIE' Of the 1990's (30 Yrs Back/Ago). Now we have, Such an "ADVANCED TECNOLOGY" ('Special Effects') For All Our Latest/New, "MOVIES". Comparing, this Movie, to the Latest/New Releases, of 'TODAY', This Movie is Still an "Masterpiece/Epic". Some Other Movies, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE', TITANIC, INDEPENDENCE DAY (ID4), JURASSIC PARK (WORLD), THE MUMMY Etc❤
I wonder if the horns at 3.42 were to warn of the overhead bridge or that he heard fire shorts and warned that it was liquid Nitrogen. Attention to small details . Then the car driver who was waving, his car got stuck by truck loosing initial balance after collision and then just crossed vehicle with top limit before topping (which shows that it was driving slowly)
2:21
vous avez des blocages😁
They destroyed the terminater franchise. And predator.

Just a n1Ce film.😏
c'est bien on a tous nos névroses
Wow garbe talaga yog gawa ni la Terminator salvation
I always wondered if that is supposed to be blood on his left arm at 2:30. If not , what is it?
It's his arm still in liquid metal form.
Even spectacular!!
