@@jainalmiraz5409 sbcs is literally the only thing i play this game for already. last year i was down to play up to fut birthday and then it became boring. this year im already bored asf. i already have a team that would be considered a god squad in fifa 22 in december and yet i still dont have fun because i cant make most of the players because i dont play press and perma through balls. i have rulebreakers ronaldo and i dont give him lengthy. i packed gold haaland and i sent him into an sbc. sorloth red pick and it went straight into alex telles sbc.

Exactly it pisses me off so much auto blocks etc constantly happen but when I manually try to block or read a pass it doesn‘t even fucking matter I dont get the ball

How do you even do constant pressure? Guessing it’s some tactics set up. I suck at the game and have fun with trivelas but never park the bus. Sometimes I spam outside box shots but when you have people just using Mbappe and CR7 or heroes/icons, screw it. It doesn’t bode well to try and play fair. If people are gonna play dirty, I’ll play dirty too.
Im always putting on constant pressure when the game is so fkkng slow in the last 30 minutes. But is the thing here that u can play those tactics “constant pressure” from the start without players getting tired ?

I have some bad news for you my G, him speaking out does fuck all. EA doesn't care why would they? They still rack up literally millions each year with the same broken game, we have the same bugs we had last year they just rewrite a bit of script from the last game and thats about it.
The worst part about my opponent turning on constant pressure is how it effects MY players. All of a sudden my passes aren’t accurate and my players can’t turn or dribble when I wasn’t even the one activating anything

It’s amazing how our players pass straight ro the opponent. The pass isn’t intercepted, it goes straight to their defender in that situation. It’s broken.
In a sense it is a little bit realistic bc rushes the players etc but it shouldnt heavily affect players with high passing/composure or whatever

I'm very happy that someone finally commented on exactly what I've been thinking for a long time. People started treating video games purely as a job, a sense of obligation. People no longer seem to care about the experience of that time invested, and this is not just about FIFA. Of course, a multiplayer game, in most cases, is about winning, but that doesn't mean people need to give up any sense of relaxation or any shred of fun to be able to play a game.

I think this has happened since fortnite blew. Since then people really treat games like a job
In game reward system destroyed fun. In cs:go or overwatch we have a ranking system that, after a while, doesnt really matter to most of us. I still want to win but i am not sacrificing fun. I play the hero i want, i use the gun i want and if i win its all good, if i lose, no biggie. In fifa you need those packs to improve your team and the only way to get them is by winning no matter the cost. You are forced in 2 scenarios if you want a to have a good team. Either be a rat and get those packs or spend your hard earned money to buy those packs. Its a flawed system and no matter what EA will do, players will always discover new toxic ways to get that win.

In my experience in this game the only way to defend is to use a press or atleast manual Team press sometimes. If you don’t use any press variation, your opponent will just hold the ball and push you back into your penalty box and then trivella, elastico or just lucky bounce though your team. Sometimes it feels like I can only win the ball back with team press, unless the opponent makes a stupid mistake in build up. I never used constant pressure or another press btw, just Team press with what I consider good timing

So the point at 26:00 reminded me of something some friends and I discussed. Not entirely on topic, but the reason that people rat out games in general to guarantee a result, in my opinion, has to do with the popularity of gaming on twitch and video-games having a growing competitive scene. People now associate success and enjoyment with WINNING. FUN = WINNING to so many people, especially in this FIFA community. It's no longer a matter of competitive nature when someone starts sweating against you and trying to have fun. People immediately do what they can to increase their odds of winning a game to guarantee the result so that they can mimic pros and these guys on twitch that are really good at the game. No one plays anymore to have "fun", it's now entirely just about being good at the game and trying to be as close to a professional level as possible, even if in reality 99% of these people will never reach a pro level and compete for money.
This same shift in mentality can be seen with a lot of youtube content creation. Games like COD, 2K, FIFA, etc are now plagued with the BEST formations, the BEST build, the BEST setup, 20-0 rewards, 100 game streak, 100kill game. I again, attribute this to the rise of competitive gameplay and the popularity of twitch. It gave people a way to easily platform their skills and makes everyone want to be the "next guy." Hell I'll put some blame on Fortnite's competitive scene for killing enjoyment, IMO that game made it mainstream to be a professional gamer and a professional sweat.
TLDR; Twitch and Professional Gaming killed creativity and enjoyment on games by creating a mentality shift on what's considered "fun" and everyone wants to mimic a pro now.

That constant pressure or press after possession loss tactic is absolutely true, the gameplay already so slow, passing is horrible, our player suddenly braindead don't make a run or space and stuck because they get pressed. Like honestly how u counter that tactic? Its disgusting.

The facts that I play like high on the pitch and take counter attack all the time with player that actually park the bus stay in their box and do long ball behind your back, it’s crazy. I get him for real. It’s been like that since Fifa 20.
There's not enough of a deterrent against rats using constant pressure for the whole game, it states in the description that it drains more stamina, but every time I look at my opponents stamina bars, they are either identical to mine, or only slightly worse off, by half time my opponents players should be exhausted, forcing them into a change of tactics, and then to top it off their defensive depth is always on no more than 20 with that god damn long ball chance creation tactic straight up to Haaland or IF Sorloth

It's funny Nick says he wants to play PES, when that is exactly what you do in PES. eFootball is a bit different (but also way worse in other regards) but PES 21 and before, this was exactly what happened. Geggenpress spam and then play 4 Centre Back and 3 CDM formation. The difference was it happened randomly, so sometimes your opponents tactic simply would'nt activate.

I don’t even play online and it’s even ruining my offline squad battle experience. I get pressured, can’t leave my half and my players forget how to kick the ball.
I've played FIFA since FIFA 2008 and I'm happy to say that I still don't understand and or care about custom tactics or player instructions. I just go to formation, choose 4-2-4 and put midfielders on the wing if I have to so that the formation works 😂🤣 I know like 5 skills that I merchant efficiently and I learnt how to do chip through balls in FIFA 2012😂 I'm glad to admit that I struggle to go into division 2 on ultimate team and that means I get to play matches where I sometimes win by huge margins or lose by huge margins and I enjoy all of them equally. I still have fun playing FIFA and I still don't plan on learning how to player lock or make the goalkeeper ChaCha slide across the goal line. It's sad people who do t play this game for a job (professionally), do so much to win just for that short boost of dopamine while they are stressed the entire match and don't even enjoy the process.

Check out the Italian Stallion, did a series in fifa 21 about different formations but for this year he’s playing every weekend league with a different formation and he plays proper authentic fifa, he’s a god
It would be boring as shit to watch. And you’d end up like inception, just hating the game even more. If you don’t like the game then don’t play. I stopped playing this year and i couldn’t be happier and last year I didn’t care about winning or losing because it’s a video game. I played how I wanted to play and had a lot of fun no matter the result

There were times when in fifa 16 and before there used to be different play style like if someone is a dribbler or someone likes possession or someone likes counter attack or someone who specialises at passing but now it’s all about the sweatiness and the hope that my opponent is not sweaty.

For the last couple of years I just accepted going for the 11 wins/rank V, because those are the only games I actually can use fun teams and play nice, beyond and in the elite division I try to avoid more games than necessary because it's just so boring/frustrating.

The point of your trivela is as soon as you put pressure to the guy shooting the trivella there should be a smaller chance of success. Now its just ball roll the defender even if he's pushing you. You green it goes in. If there is space i agree. Should be going in. Not if my defender is pushing and you ball roll trivela instantly. Because there is indeed need for a mechanic against people that drop back constantly.
I defend manually almost all the time. Trivellas are the only things people score against me. As soon as there is an angle. Ball roll trivela. Even the animation doesnt look natural. From a balance perspective it isnt even possible to perform irl

Been saying for years that all the pressure tactics need to go. At the moment one of the best ways of attacking is to lose the ball near your opponents box, have press on possession loss on, wait for the AI to pounce on your opponent, boom you’re through on goal. It’s so dumb.
This is exactly the reason i mainly play squad battle, buy different players, test players, test tactics, try all kind of skill moves, create beautiful goals… and simply PLAY THE GAME!
When i go in Rivals, all i see is parking the bus and counter from D10 to D5. I won many games there but no one is actually playing the game. Sad very sad!

It's not 'crying'. He's making perfectly reasonable points again, his frustration stems from not enough people bringing up these common issues. EA are practically releasing a faulty product each year with their server/connection issues but plenty of people with power just choose to ignore it.
