Her Majesty always had the right hat for the occasion. Royal hats would be a great topic, and not just British royals. Other European royals have lovely hats, as do the Japanese.
I had to watch this several times, as couldn't take my eyes off you, Ilona (Did you make you hat?)! Your hat, hair & make-up are absolute perfection. I thought the fascinators the queen wore were among the best looks for her, being such a tiny lady. They offered a more feminine, romantic touch to her normally chic but severe styles, & you could see her perfect complection. Thanks again
Hello Margaret! Thank you so much 😊 Yes, I did make the hat I am wearing - it's one of the first hats I ever made! It is a copy of a vintage one I picked up in a flee market. The original was falling apart and I wanted to preserve the design - so I made it new!
"A wedding I actually Remember...". Now I feel right old! I watched Diana and Charlles, Andrew and Sarah, Edward and Sophie....and the rest. I was only 10 at the 1981 wedding, but I stayed up late to watch it live. As for my favourite, the fascinator and Camillas headpiece was a show stopper...but the 1980's and 90's hats can stay there! Just watched season 3 and 4 of the Crown and drooling over the 60's headwear. As for next topic, funeral headwear, there are some very lovely creations to talk of!
Hello Roxann! The 60s hats of Her Late Majesty are also among my favorites! I am thinking of covering mourning millinery in general, but I don't think its appropriate so soon after the funeral. I might give it a couple of months, and then start researching.
@@falconeshield Imeant when she said "A wedding I actuallky remember..." it made me laugh as I remember watchiung Diana and Charles wedding...THATS what made me feel old..!
The Cream outfit and matching hat for Charles and Camilla's Church Blessing Stunning and the Wattle Brooch.. Perfect!! I Know this is about The Queens hats...and you mention Camilla's gold and diamond feather Phillip Tracy fascinator BUT The cream outfit and hat ( The wedding outfit) that Camilla wore for the Town Hall ...Was superb... It was the first time we'd seen Camilla dressed formally with a Hat...She scrubbed up well!! Camilla has worn some knock Out Hats...
Wonderful video, but I tell you that Elizabeth's BLUE dress at weddings gave misfortune omens as Anne's , Charles', and Andrew's marriages ended in divorce. Queen Liz got advised to wear different colors at William's & Harry's weddings as They are fine. Never wear BLUE in any shades at wedding.

Absolutely love your hat! You look gorgeous
The sea-foam hat at the end was chef’s kiss! 😍
Love your look in this video. Makeup, hair and the hat. The first wedding I remember was Charles and Diana. Now I feel old!
A bit of a fun fact at 6:37 the brooch the queen wore is the Australian wattle brooch that was a gift from Australia to her majesty

Loved seeing the late Queen's wedding hats. Your narration is excellent. Thank you for this is interesting look at the Queen's choices. 🙂
My favourite is the blue rose veiled number for Margarets wedding, just so pretty!

You look stunning in this video. And, I love your hat!
I adore the halo hat you are wear!
I really love your videos!😊
I wonder if you could get your hands on the Women's Weekly of the time...surely they would have all the details of the hats.
Will you also talk about the hats the Princess Diana has worn?
How do you do to hold your hats and don't fall from your head?
What kind of hat is she wearing? I really like that style.
