I live in Brooklyn where there are a lot of us from MPLS. When I lived in MPLS, I remember recording and doing some session work at Creation Studios and a few at Funky town too for John Fields. Great town with great music and arts in general! Good luck with the move.

Good for You, Andrew! You could maybe keep a small satellite studio/set-up in your basement for those times of spur-of-the-moment inspiration. For sure the pandemic, and oftentimes the lack of peers has led many people to somewhat isolated hobbies, and into social media to find buddies. Enjoy your new adventure!

Oh man, as a voice actor working from home I can SO relate to the isolation thing. It's actually really hard for me, because I can sometimes go all week without leaving the house. In fact, if it wasn't for church I don't know what I'd do! I used to dream of this lifestyle and now I realize the value of just interacting with people who are not my family -- it's weirdly crucial to being a good husband and father! Anyways, whatever happens at the new space I hope you can experience the healthiest version of this creative life we lead. Your videos are kind of a lifeline for me and I hope to live vicariously through you in your new season! All the best.
still digging through comments here and man that is so real. I go days too without talking to non-family humans and some weeks it wears on me for sure. Even after a week in the new space it's been so life-giving to have some interactions with fellow musicians peppered into the day. there are always trade-offs for folks living and breathing a career in the creative spaces. Hope you can find a healthy and good balance in your scenario!
