    How did you release the automatic handbrake….?
    Can you get away with starting the car, releasing the handbrake and then just turning the car off…?

    Hello, What size are the bolts for the caliper? The ones that need torqued to 45nm , I got pads but they didn’t supply the bolts

      13mm mate. You can get spare bolts from eurocarparts in the brake accessories section.

    Thank you, did the right side but struggling on the left side on taking away the caliper. Seems to be stuck on the bottom. Top would wiggle out fine but bottom, no chance.
    Any advice?

      Hello Riropower. Ensure the slide pins are removed. You’ll see in the video where I pinch/depress the rubber housing of the slide pins to allow space for the pads to sit.
      I’d advise on spraying some brake cleaner and maybe turn the wheel so you have more access to the calliper

      @@chiragbulsara Thank you, one of my mechanic friends took it on a lift to get a better look, turned out that the bottom slide pin was totally corroded that‘s why I didn‘t get it off 😄 Everything‘s changed now, thanks again!

    Do you have to change the sensor every time? Thanks

    • @chiragbulsara
      @chiragbulsara  Рік тому +2

      No you don’t have to change the sensor every time. But what you will find is due to the brake dust and rust it will be difficult to remove and you could possibly break it when trying to remove it. The sensor is less than £5 and very easy to install. It can also be removed and installed without having to remove the calliper assembly.

      I’m not sure about that. It definitely helps if you have vcds as that may be an option
