Thank you very much for this guide!! I just did the wifes 2018 A5 conv, front was easy to get the Piston back in, then I got to the rear and wasn't budging and remembered your video to remove the E break which was a true life saver!! Thanks!! 🙂.
Hi thanks for the video I did my rear brakes on my 2019 A5 prestige black optics. Very helpful. The part about the e brake motor was a life saver. Thanks again for the great video!!
@@erwinvanriel5843 you can't do it by "pushing/turning" - something will brake... There's a motor in the back that will spin and retract the piston. 1) I used an obd11 tool and did it with the phone. 2)You can also apply voltage to the 2 leads of the motor, or 3)-you can take the motor cap off, and spin the motor manually until the piston is retracted

did you push the piston back when before you installed the plastic cover?
Yes you have to push piston back before installing e brake
