- Duelling Rabbits is delighted to unveil the newest addition to the stable - a 125 cm Ulla Cyrus combination drawloom. The loom is currently installed in Studio 340 at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA USA.

Ah, superb two minutes of action (give or take) for the experienced and knowledgeable cognoscenti, a long weekend for mere, feet on the ground, mortals. I guess it was anticipation of future work flow improvement that sped things up giving feet the spring and hands the flexibility.
As I recall, rifts in the space-time-continuum were involved - and of course that was BC (Before Cordage). But a long weekend is nothing to sneeze at - it takes that long to decipher the instructions, at least!
Overwhelming! i have been using my 10" RH loom for a few months, and an inkle loom. Working my way to tablet and baltic weaving... I do have an 8 shaft table loom...but have not used it yet. So this loom...enormous, impressive, awe-inspiring!
Maggie, it is a big loom - no doubt about it. We call it 'The Full Catastrophe'. But I started out on a rigid heddle loom too and it is not so far removed as you might think. And it just goes to show you never know where a passion will lead you!

Me too! I am busy designing a banner for the new studio that I hope will help me get acquainted with the UC. Not certain about the awesome part but it sure will be a challenge.

Y'all are speedy 😁 i would have never thought to put the draw cord console off to the side like that, but it seems really smart to open up all that front and center space!
Yup! We were motivated. The side-console is a pretty unique feature to this loom and you are absolutely right about it opening up the front of the loom for the single-unit pulls. I am looking forward to seeing how it works in practice - shouldn't be long now!
Oh i cant wait to see what you make on it. So envious. I would give a body part or 2 for a draw loom
I love drawloom weaving but am not sure it is worth such a drastic sacrifice ;-) Here's hoping there is one in your future soon.
