    A 520d really leaves room for improvement in the engine bay. 😄

    That pipe snapped is really common, same car with newer B47 engine and mine snapped, but was the cheapest part i bought from BMW, they keep plenty in stock as apparently it breaks all the time while they work on the cars too.

    So your EGR and dpf were f ed ,,because of your oil consumption from the turbo. Otherwise no problem.

    Great real word repair work, laser do a tool for them exhaust clamps ( Laser Exhaust Clamp Spreader/Installer 4469 ) I've not got one but been looking at them, have you ever removed a turbo off a mk 4 2ltr Mondeo while the engine is still in the car without removing the cylinder head ? ... There's gonna be a part 2 on this yeah ? Showing the result of the DPF clean, I've been looking at that cleaning solution myself ... Take care , Regards Andy

    Hey Sandy, l have a quick question for you: i have issues with my dpf,520,2013. My mechanic said that he will cut the dpf c clean it and then weld it back. Is this normal, as l can t find the right answer. Great content.💯

    • @sandyande
      @sandyande  Рік тому +1

      I wouldn’t do that! The dpf is only a symptom of a problem further upstream

      Poti sa iti cureti dpf acas, e online o solutie de curatat dpf £30 ai nevoie de o galeata , bagi solutia aia in dpf , te asiguri ca nu uzi senzori si lasi dpf peste noapte cu solutia aia in el dp ziua urmatoare cu jet de apa, 15 min si dpf e ca nou , te costa £30 solutia si in cazul meu platit mecanic sal dea jos si sa mil puna la loc, eu fac taxi cu F10 si asa nu .ai dai £250-£350 pt tot acelasi lucuru fac si aia care til curata profesional!
