I don't bother stealing games after ky teenage years. You get a wii, vita, nitendo 3DS or switch full of games and what ends up happening is Choice paralysis. "Hmm which of the 500 games do I want to start today? *scrolls for 40 minutes deciding which game to invest time into* ahh nevermind, I cant choose which game I want to start and stick with"
Where if I buy a game I'm actually inclined to start with that Today and see it through. I know Im not the only one - My sister bought an Etsy vita with every game loaded on SD card yet in 4 months the only vita game she tried was Persona 3 and it sits on a shelf.

I honestly believe it is wrong to mod systems that are still being continued (mainly if you are gonna pirating games that are still being sold by the official publisher), but I'm not gonna tell you what to do, you do what you want with your consoles, and I gotta be honest, that custom home menu has way more personality than the official one
(I have a modded New 3DS XL and I do not regret modding it, I'm actually glad I did since Nintendo discontinued the 3DS and it's eShop, and stop selling their games)

The reason why cost so much is because besides the mod chip I went with the hwfly mod chip and also got LEDs for inside my JoyCon and a custom back. Also went with metal clips and most likely have couple other modifications that I can't think of. I know I've done a bunch to it
