would’ve could’ve should’ve is literally the most incredible song ever. The constant religious mentions, the “give me back my girlhood” line sounding like a child, it being track 19, 13 years later, the fact that she doesn’t mention should’ve cause she already said the should haves in dear John I’m absolutely mind blown 🤯
Hits Different really feels like her Joe breakup song… I’m so excited for Poets so we can understand more about how she was feeling when everything happened.

One of my friends said bigger than the whole sky is about miscarriage, and now I can’t unhear it. You’re right that this song can probably apply to all types of grief - losing a friend, relationship, etc. - but listening to it with that lens just fits so well, especially since she says “I’m never gonna meet, what could have been, would’ve been what should’ve been you”
The way the vocals are modulated when she sings “never take advice from someone falling apart” sounds almost like it’s implying she’s drunk. Between the reverb and the modulation, it sounds like something she’d be saying to someone looking up to her when she’s too tired to hold her tongue
"give me back my girlhood it was mine first!" That line... Makes me break down and cry. Truly, this is one of her best bridges, and most emotional songs. Writing is ATW level of phenomenal
When I first heard The Great War, my immediate reaction was that lyrically, it was Cornelia Street 2.0. A few more listens and it actually samples it! People are noticing that songs about certain times in her life are sampling music from those eras.
Talking about 29 and Would've Could've Should've... when she says "I never would've danced with the devil" and Demis last album was called Dancing with the Devil. It may be a coincidence but it just feels ✨️ connected
Dear reader is my most precious baby from 3 am edition. She's basically telling me not to make her my role model and I'm like "Shut up bitch, You're my heroine" Lol.But all the songs are fire. She really went all out for this album. She's not holding back.
5:08 I've looked up the meaning of hairpin triggers and found out they're special triggers that make the gun go off by applying very little pressure. Truly, she is a mastermind
they're usually called "hair triggers" so saying "hair pin" is a play on words. I think it might still have a connection to "I swear you could hear a hair pin drop" in right where you left me
Oh my gosh that makes that line so much sadder 😭 Like Joe does something so small but it triggers a huge response in Taylor because of her trauma from past relationships 😭
Ally, I just want to give you a hug. It seemed to me by your response to Would’ve could’ve should’ve that you weren’t just emotional on behalf of Taylor but that part of what she was singing about spoke to your own experience. If that’s the case then your bright happy videos openly sharing your love for nostalgic media are even more special. Thank you for helping us reclaim our girlhood (or childhoods in general!) Sending love ❤️
Ugh I loved the way you described everything in Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve. My boyfriend has a hard time listening to lyrics & understanding whats going on & I think you’re explanation helped him understand it. It’s such a gut wrenching song.
i love the line "chart the constellations in his eyes," because it makes me think of "starry eyes sparking up my darkest night" from call it what you want
Coming back after ttpd, I feel like a lot of these songs from midnights make sense for me and I feel like midnights really was an amazing lead up to ttpd
I usually don’t care for hearing other people’s opinions on music early on after an album has dropped cause it can sometimes affect my judgment, but I am SO excited to hear what you have to say. While listening to the country/pop banger, Hits Different I was like oh, Ally’s gonna LOVE THIS
@@AllySheehan IM SORRY I REALLY DIDNT WANT TO REACH OUT TO YOU ON SOMEONE ELSES COMMENT BUT I JUST NEED TO SHARE THIS!! i really don’t like high infidelity 😭 i’m a massive tswizzle fan and i love her to death but it’s like…. if a man did this to her she would be like “screw that ugly horse man” (in poetic ways of course) BUT SHE DOES IT AND ITS JUST OK?😭 like i’m so so happy that she found someone better than whoever the “toxic” guy was that she cheated on but this has always baffled me. idk if you’ve watched hamilton or know history but it’s kinda the same with hamilton and burr. hamilton cheated and it was this big scandal, and burr was a willing part of cheating on someone and he gets away scott free? like this concept has always been super interesting to me low key. sorry to bother lmao lyy
A moment I will never forget: Waking up at 5:30 am(New York time) expecting the 3 am surprise to be a tour announcement and getting 7 additional songs instead. 🤪 Blondie's chaotic brain should be studied. As of now, 3 of my top 5 songs on Midnights are from the 3 am edition. I simply cannot imagine this album without those songs! They're so good!! The music videos are bound to be the end of us all! Bejeweled comes out TONIGHT! 💎
I came specifically to see your reaction to ‘Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve’! Your response thrilled me because I felt the same. Shreds me up every time. Love, one Swiftie to another 💗
This 3 am edition is something you find in your attic at 3 am, a box you’ve never opened before, and it’s full of magic spells, sadness, and joy. Its like a new world and you stay up all night listening to these and crying while laughing.
I’ve seen a lot about people relating Bigger Than The Whole Sky to loss/miscarriage and whilst I think it definitely fits those themes and Taylor’s phenomenal writing makes it relatable in the context of so many situations, I can’t stop thinking that she’s written it singing to the version of herself that never dated John. Especially after hearing Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve, the lyrics “I miss who I used to be” and “Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first” (🤯). To me it makes the lyrics “I'm never gonna meet what could've been, would've been, what should've been you” fit so perfectly from the perspective of her singing to this unknown version of herself!
The SECOND I heard the album your line from the last midnights video where you were reprising your theories, "It'd be cool if she did really poppy stuff but we all know thats not gonna happen" could NOT stop running through my head. It's even more amazing than I expected.
would’ve, could’ve, should’ve and bigger than the whole sky absolutely broke me. especially her saying “give me back my girlhood, it was mine first” bc so many people can relate to that line. i’m so glad she released the 3am songs bc 3 of them are my new fave songs ever. i love taylor so much 💗
THANK YOU for celebrating Hits Different!!! i loved it in my reaction video too but i feel like hardly anyone is taking the time to find that song and give it the bop it deserves, love that song so much and your joy replaying the end of it was just incredible 🥰🥰🥰
I just want to say having found you AFTER you heard this for the first time, and getting to watch you hearing the song you put as your channel intro for the first time, it's delightful!!
The Great War is my fav on Midnights after YOYOK. It is the perfect child of Red & Folklore/Evermore and I'm a big fan of the sound of those than more pop ish Taylor. I'm convinced the song is an Evermore reject like it does not belong on Midnights except for the soft beat it has, however I'm super thankful for this one 🙇🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
I just came back to watch your video again because your reaction to Would've Could've Should've is so close to mine and it has easily become my number 1 Taylor Swift song (who would have thought ATWTMV could ever have gotten de-throned?). Not only is it one of Taylor's traumatic experiences, but as you said about the 'memories feel like weapons', even though I am lucky that I have never gotten into a relationship like that, I have struggled with disordered eating in the past and struggle with it until this very moment. So the fact that that happened exactly at 19 just gave this song a whole double meaning for me and how I cannot listen to this song without balling my eyes out. Wow, I never share this with anyone who I know but your channel feels like SUCH a comfortable place that I felt like sharing and getting it off my chest, so I hope you do not mind, because it is also the biggest compliment I can give someone because you and your channel are one of the biggest safe spaces in my life. Thank you, Ally, for sharing this reacting with us. I really needed someone to cry with. 💛
I finally have time to watch your video! Taylor came from “but if you wanna fight, baby, let’s go” to “survived the great war”. i’m so happy for her i cried every time for this songs in first few days, now i stopped. but watching your video made me cry again. I LOVE how she sings “midnights” in Paris just like in New Year’s Day (my literally fav moment from the whole album) would’ve, could’ve, should’ve is definitely a fan’s favorite. everyone loves it hits different it’s soooo fearless. i love this song p.s. i’m writing it while i watch your video, so i hope all this make sense) p.p.s. sorry for my english)
Never been this early. I love the album and can't wait for your reaction to the original 13 but this will tide me over. I went to bed Thursday night having listened to the album only to wake up to these 7 new tracks. Taylor is gonna be the death of me.
Your vibes are so comforting. Your vids always make me smile! It's so nice having someone else who loves Taylor Swift as much as I do :)) love from the US! ❤️
That girlhood line grabs every woman’s heart because we, the females, understand how fragile it is, and how hard it is to keep safe because too often it is stolen from us before we are ready to give it up. I am not necessarily just talking seggs/purity but the whole objectification thing of it. We read/see and even sadly experience it all the time; a child matures physically and suddenly there are predators everywhere - long before you have even had the time to process the changes inside yourself. Taylor is singing of her personal experience but every woman I know understands this on a visceral level.
I love all the different interpretations of Bigger than the Whole Sky, it’s really exemplary of her writing skills that she’s able to capture something that so many people have experienced. I personally think it’s her mourning her past self before her relationship with John Mayer - based on the religious language used in both and the inclusion of “would’ve could’ve should’ve” at the beginning of Bigger than the Whole Sky. Mourning the person you could’ve been had trauma not happened to you… it’s a heartbreaking experience.
Really great reaction. I can tell you are a true Taylor supporter. The way you talk about her is genuine. I know because I feel the same way as you about Taylor. I am an OG Supporter since 2006. I am here for the music and others complaining about the feature has a verse is not important to me, I always trust Taylor's vision. Thank you.
I love your energy in this video and tbh, I love your energy at all times 🫶🏼 Your videos are honestly just so comforting to watch! And is it bad that whenever an album drops I'm more excited for your reaction than the album itself?
2 years later and now im watching this and now i realize that the lyric “let the only flashing lights(paparazzi camera flashes) be the tower at midnight(effiel tower sparkling at night)” and damn she is very clever
Daddy Aaron is all over my deepest core delights and sorrows with his writing and collaboration. He is, for me, the source of taking Taylor forward to her adult "Speak Now/Red" depths. Their work together is my nook that I crawl into and recharge when I need to affirm what I know, what I want to learn, and how it shapes me. 3AM edition and Til Dawn, now we believe, leads into Tortured Poets, and I am on the edge of my swing above the trees screaming ferociously.
Totally agree. He leads her into stretching her talents beyond their previous limits. Prime example is Tolerate It. Aaron wrote it in 10/8 time. That is not easy to write or sing over. And yet she nails it and does it almost casually. She really is a savant.
I saw someone call Hits Different a Hilary Duff song a few days ago and you were the first person I thought of, and now you said the same thing. ❤ I'm so glad we got a reaction from you and so thankful that Taylor blessed us with these 3am tracks as I cannot imagine life without WCS as a Speak Now stan. I truly think it is the best song she's ever done. It's one thing to pour her heart out about a relationship while the wound is still fresh, but for her to reflect on that one thirteen years later and to write about it the way she did....I get full body chills every single time I listen to it, which has been nearly 20 times a day. Every single line is so powerful and devastating.
I really liked your reaction to would've, could've, should've and wish everyone had that same reaction because that song is gut wrenching and in my opinion along dear john the saddest song she's ever written. "Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first"? the most heart breaking line I've heard from her. It's the way she mourns her innocence that was stolen and how he got away with doing it without barely suffering the consequences. It's sad that so many us can relate to this song one way or another. Can't believe I watched a few reactions of people just complementing her vocals when she sang that fucking line.
"Hits different" is an ultimate all-time bop. Boy, it might be a blasphemy, but it seems to be even better than Cruel summer and You belong with me. It gives me the feeling of uncontrollable happiness and joy, tears and shivers all over. "And I don't know how it gets better than this". Love your reaction!
I love watching your reactions to Taylor's new music because you're such a genuine and true fan and it makes me happy to watch people who truly enjoy her music, enjoy it. I wish the reaction consisted more of you actually listening to the songs though cause I feel like pausing after every line to comment into such depth kinda takes the emotion out of it a little bit. I mean absolutely NO hate by this, I'm sure you prefer to do your reactions this way, I just had to express this cause I was excited to watch this reaction and see you actually listen to the full song (similar as you did with the karma remix, snow on the beach with more Lana and you're losing me, where you just listen to the songs start to finish and react along the way and the comments are made at the end, i.e. without interruptions.) Nonetheless, I enjoy all your videos and think you're the sweetest 💖I hope you take this as constructive, if you even stumble across this comment, and not anything negative! Xx
Aw thank you! I unfortunately had to pause it on this video otherwise UA-cam would have copyright claimed it 💔 if you play more than 5 or so seconds at a time they do that so I had to break it up a little :)
okay so im a new swiftie (of about 8 months) so please forgive me if this is totally off, but i really feel like high infidelity and ivy give off the exact same vibes like the lyrics "i bent the truth too far tonight, i was dancing around, dancing around it" or "do you really want to know where i was april 29th" from high infidelity and "spring breaks loose, the time is near, what would he do if he found us out?" from ivy are literally such lyric parallels and you cannot convince me that the two arent related
I absolutely agree how you felt with hits different, you listened to 10 seconds and instanstly realized it was going to be one of your favourites. Its amazing, i felt the same.
@@AllySheehan I bought the midnight target exclusive only for hits different!! I'm not from the us but I took advantage that i had a vacation last winter
Listening now in June 2023, I'm thinking they were broken up, or at the least on the way out during the production of these tracks. Taylor sounds like she's really reminiscing about her experiences with Joe as well as all the things that have led to where she currently is.
at 22:49-22:53 you bring up a good point! I've been seeing mixed reviews on midnights, many people miss the folklore and evermore lyricism. Personally, I really love the new album, it reminds me of 1989, rep, and lover!
The thing I don’t get is yes, Midnights is a mix of 1989 and Rep; but Midnights has BETTER lyricism and vulnerability than those two!!! What are people saying?! Folklore and Evermore have excellent lyricism, but Midnights absolutely does, as well. Moreso than past albums
@@BrunetteGiant oh i agree! I've seen some say how some it's her flop era, but the numbers say otherwise lmao. I really like all the production on this album, it just shows how much range she has!
The first time I listened I said that High Infidelity was if Tolerate It, Gorgeous, and Getaway Car had a baby. I LOVE your description of Bigger Than The Whole Sky and it has made it my favorite! Dear Reader sounds like she came into my brain and wrote the song. She truly is a mastermind! EDIT: ALSO I forgot to say! I know they're not about Taylor BUT the lyric "I never would've danced with the devil" made me think of John Mayer's song 'Dancing in a Burning Room' and he also sang the song 'Friend of the Devil' at a couple of his concerts.
Knowing you’d react to the entirety of this new album was just such an extra treat to look forward to. It makes listening to the album much more special! Definitely anticipated your reactions to this album just as much as the actual album like a lot of us here in the comments were. ♥️
I just want to say that I love your videos and how excited you get about things. It's so nice and refreshing to see someone just embrace their joy in such a positive and infectious way and I feel justified in my responses to a lot of these songs too after seeing your video. I adored this whole album and I think my favourite 3am tracks have to be would've could've should've and glitch. But from the main album I love karma, Bejeweled, lavender haze and midnight rain so much. Hope you had the best time at the listening party. Also his different slaps!!! X

@@AllySheehan I know I love how everyone who loves Taylor and her amazing music is so supportive of each other. Can you tell I'm a pop girly 😂
I just realized "loving him was red" and now Joe is portrayed as blue and red represents firey passion and anger, like a quick-tempered crazy love while blie represents calm and serenity. ILYSM TAYLOR 😢❤❤
I love the lines I hosted parties and starved my body and give me back my girlhood it was mine first I love them cause I relate to those and I miss who i used to be this album is so iconic
Loved every second of this! MIDNIGHTS IS TOO GOOD. Can't wait for the listening party video, so happy were able to experience that. Would've, Could've, Should've is unbelievable, so good but heart-wrenching 😭❤(I'm not ok too).
When her voice breaks on the the last “without” of the song, it just breaks me. The heartbreaking goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, followed by I’ve got a lot to pine about, I’ve got a lot to live “without” and her voice just breaks on that word and I tear up every single time.
YAY Love this reaction. Something about Would've Could've Should've that's cool is I feel like it could apply to different things (even tho its 1000% about one specific thing 🤧) But as other people with mental illness will know (especially those with OCD and intrusive thoughts) there's usually a point where you can remember it getting bad and think how you could have done something differently to prevent it from getting worse. Also, wishing that you could go back to a point of innocence and take back the time you lost during all the suffering. So glad every Taylor song is super specific and yet also general enough to apply to different things!! Thanks for a great vid Ally ❤❤
for me, The Great War is like Call It What You Want and maybe Dress from Reputation, and Cruel Summer in Lover. It's about finding her true love during her worst times only on this one, she opened up about another factor that made the whole "I found true love during my worst times" so intense is that she was still traumatized by past relationships and he (Joe) held her hand and guided her out of the woods.
For me hits different is a combination of New Romantics, august, death by a thousand cuts, message in a bottle and tis the damn season. Wether it’s lyrically, sonically or in the melodies. And that shouldn’t work, but it does. And so damn well.
This album and these tracks are so iconic!! my favs are definitely hits different she's absolutely criminal for not including this!! Paris, dear reader and would've, could've should've made me ugly cry so much!!

@@laurenhansel6536 oof i completely forgot
Thank you!
THANK U
One of my friends said bigger than the whole sky is about miscarriage, and now I can’t unhear it. You’re right that this song can probably apply to all types of grief - losing a friend, relationship, etc. - but listening to it with that lens just fits so well, especially since she says “I’m never gonna meet, what could have been, would’ve been what should’ve been you”
WHAT. this changes everything now I’m crying🥲
omg 😭
Someone commented that this could reference her friend Claire who lost a pregnancy recently unfortunately
I read this comment 3 days ago and now I can't unhear it and now it's fully breaks me everytime I listen to it
@@tinamardt7734 I also saw someone say that Blake also had a miscarriage
Either way, it's just so sad
Ally: “I don’t want spoilers” Also Ally: “YOU GUYS SHOULDVE WARNED ME” 😂😂 I love it lol. Your reaction videos are everything to me ❤️
hahah i want the best of both worlds okay!!
@@AllySheehan chill it out take it slow, then you rock out the show 😂
The way the vocals are modulated when she sings “never take advice from someone falling apart” sounds almost like it’s implying she’s drunk. Between the reverb and the modulation, it sounds like something she’d be saying to someone looking up to her when she’s too tired to hold her tongue
"give me back my girlhood it was mine first!"
That line...
People are noticing that songs about certain times in her life are sampling music from those eras.
does it??? where?
@@heyjude6680 from 2:00 to 2:10 in The Great War, you can really hear it. The instrumental samples the one from the intro of Cornelia Street!
Talking about 29 and Would've Could've Should've... when she says "I never would've danced with the devil" and Demis last album was called Dancing with the Devil. It may be a coincidence but it just feels ✨️ connected
omg yes!!
AS A LOVATIC&SWIFTIE AT THE SAME TIME I REALLY REALLY LOVED YOUR COMMENT lol omg:')
Legit thought of Demi when I heard dancing with the devil.
JM also has a song called Slow Dancing In a Burning Room. Maybe the burning room is hell and he's the devil?
Dear reader is my most precious baby from 3 am edition. She's basically telling me not to make her my role model and I'm like "Shut up bitch, You're my heroine" Lol.But all the songs are fire. She really went all out for this album. She's not holding back.
5:08 I've looked up the meaning of hairpin triggers and found out they're special triggers that make the gun go off by applying very little pressure. Truly, she is a mastermind
WOW i love that, it makes perfect sense in this context
they're usually called "hair triggers" so saying "hair pin" is a play on words. I think it might still have a connection to "I swear you could hear a hair pin drop" in right where you left me
Oh my gosh that makes that line so much sadder 😭 Like Joe does something so small but it triggers a huge response in Taylor because of her trauma from past relationships 😭
thats what hair trigger means. hairpin has gay connotations. which she used twice, once in great war and the other in RWYLM
@@MJ-he1hf lol literally not about joe unless hes a woman
Ally: This whole album is just "I love Joe and Joe is the best"
You're Losing Me, staring from the vault: are you sure about that?
Ally, I just want to give you a hug. It seemed to me by your response to Would’ve could’ve should’ve that you weren’t just emotional on behalf of Taylor but that part of what she was singing about spoke to your own experience. If that’s the case then your bright happy videos openly sharing your love for nostalgic media are even more special. Thank you for helping us reclaim our girlhood (or childhoods in general!) Sending love ❤️
Thank you so much ❤️
Ugh I loved the way you described everything in Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve. My boyfriend has a hard time listening to lyrics & understanding whats going on & I think you’re explanation helped him understand it. It’s such a gut wrenching song.
oh god, i'm so glad i could connect with you and him in some way
"Do I really have to chart the constellations in his eyes?".....it's giving "starry eyes sparking up my darkest night"
"Give me back my girlhood it was mine first" awakened a part of me I forgot about. Would've could've should've felt like a therapy session
or like an entire year of therapy 😅
She broke Spotify with the album.
✨ICONIC✨
i love the line "chart the constellations in his eyes," because it makes me think of "starry eyes sparking up my darkest night" from call it what you want
Coming back after ttpd, I feel like a lot of these songs from midnights make sense for me and I feel like midnights really was an amazing lead up to ttpd
Hits Different hits SO different after TTPD
I usually don’t care for hearing other people’s opinions on music early on after an album has dropped cause it can sometimes affect my judgment, but I am SO excited to hear what you have to say. While listening to the country/pop banger, Hits Different I was like oh, Ally’s gonna LOVE THIS
that makes me so happy omg you KNOW me
@@AllySheehan IM SORRY I REALLY DIDNT WANT TO REACH OUT TO YOU ON SOMEONE ELSES COMMENT BUT I JUST NEED TO SHARE THIS!!
i really don’t like high infidelity 😭 i’m a massive tswizzle fan and i love her to death but it’s like…. if a man did this to her she would be like “screw that ugly horse man” (in poetic ways of course) BUT SHE DOES IT AND ITS JUST OK?😭 like i’m so so happy that she found someone better than whoever the “toxic” guy was that she cheated on but this has always baffled me.
idk if you’ve watched hamilton or know history but it’s kinda the same with hamilton and burr. hamilton cheated and it was this big scandal, and burr was a willing part of cheating on someone and he gets away scott free? like this concept has always been super interesting to me low key.
sorry to bother lmao lyy
Love, one Swiftie to another 💗
love right back!
Same. This is the best song on the album!
these songs had no business hurting me that much, but i love them so much
i love when she does this to us
YESSS Hits Different is such a 2000s coming of age girl anthem. Your brand coming to fruition 💖
yess!!
To me it makes the lyrics “I'm never gonna meet what could've been, would've been, what should've been you” fit so perfectly from the perspective of her singing to this unknown version of herself!
i completely agree - i can see it through such a lens of mourning who you might have been
I never thought of this but that makes so much sense! This is how I’m gonna look at this song from now on. I have no choice in the matter lol
The SECOND I heard the album your line from the last midnights video where you were reprising your theories, "It'd be cool if she did really poppy stuff but we all know thats not gonna happen" could NOT stop running through my head. It's even more amazing than I expected.
i cannot BELIEVE she blessed us with pop!!
would’ve, could’ve, should’ve and bigger than the whole sky absolutely broke me. especially her saying “give me back my girlhood, it was mine first” bc so many people can relate to that line. i’m so glad she released the 3am songs bc 3 of them are my new fave songs ever. i love taylor so much 💗
"Hits Different" sounds like vintage Taylor and I love it!! Wish it was on a vinyl 7" for the jukebox.
um bejeweled was announced as the mv coming out tonight and now this video >
“You know there's many different ways that you can kill the one you love
The slowest way is never loving them enough” 😭😭😭😭😭
Watching Ally from the past like "wait until she learns Hits Different is about Joe Alwyn" lol 😭
Taylor came from “but if you wanna fight, baby, let’s go” to “survived the great war”. i’m so happy for her
i cried every time for this songs in first few days, now i stopped. but watching your video made me cry again.
I LOVE how she sings “midnights” in Paris just like in New Year’s Day (my literally fav moment from the whole album)
would’ve, could’ve, should’ve is definitely a fan’s favorite. everyone loves it
hits different it’s soooo fearless. i love this song
p.s. i’m writing it while i watch your video, so i hope all this make sense)
p.p.s. sorry for my english)
Never been this early. I love the album and can't wait for your reaction to the original 13 but this will tide me over. I went to bed Thursday night having listened to the album only to wake up to these 7 new tracks. Taylor is gonna be the death of me.
Always LOVE seeing your reactions. Makes me appreciate the songs even more! And feels like having a friend to share this masterpiece with ❤️✨️
that means so much to me!
yeah would’ve could’ve should’ve is my favorite too and i scream “ give me back my girlhood it was mine first” everytime
SAME whilst crying
Your vibes are so comforting. Your vids always make me smile! It's so nice having someone else who loves Taylor Swift as much as I do :)) love from the US! ❤️
aww love right back to you!
Thank you.
I love your energy in this video and tbh, I love your energy at all times 🫶🏼
Your videos are honestly just so comforting to watch!
@@chrismcmurry8508 Tolerate It is so incredible.
I saw someone call Hits Different a Hilary Duff song a few days ago and you were the first person I thought of, and now you said the same thing. ❤
I'm so glad we got a reaction from you and so thankful that Taylor blessed us with these 3am tracks as I cannot imagine life without WCS as a Speak Now stan.
I hadn't heard Hits Different before this...OMFG why are more people not raving about this song it's unbelievable!!! I need it all day every day.
IT'S SO GOOD
somebody has uploaded a leak of the song on spotify as an episode and everybody is listening to it....
Paris gives me Message In A Bottle vibes, and I _love_ it.
I genuinely can’t imagine midnights without these songs - i will dance to Paris and hits different for the rest of my life 💃🏻
i was just about to go to bed but guess what i’m not gonna do now you’ve posted this 🥹 I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
"Hits different" is an ultimate all-time bop.
Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE your outfit, makeup, jewelry, you look so sparkly and gorgeous!
thank you so much!!
okay so im a new swiftie (of about 8 months) so please forgive me if this is totally off, but i really feel like high infidelity and ivy give off the exact same vibes like the lyrics "i bent the truth too far tonight, i was dancing around, dancing around it" or "do you really want to know where i was april 29th" from high infidelity and "spring breaks loose, the time is near, what would he do if he found us out?" from ivy are literally such lyric parallels and you cannot convince me that the two arent related
I absolutely agree how you felt with hits different, you listened to 10 seconds and instanstly realized it was going to be one of your favourites.
Its amazing, i felt the same.
ITS SO PERFECT

EDIT:
ALSO I forgot to say! I know they're not about Taylor BUT the lyric "I never would've danced with the devil" made me think of John Mayer's song 'Dancing in a Burning Room' and he also sang the song 'Friend of the Devil' at a couple of his concerts.
I really appreciate your analysis and how you don't hide your emotional reaction. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Also… the shade under where a tree has grown?? As in a willow!!!!!! I screamed when I made the connection
OMG!

My favourites (there's actually too many 😂), but if I had to pick an overall to 5 then probably would've could've should've, karma, hits different, glitch and Paris maybe. Can you tell I'm a pop girly 😂
40:50 "or have they come to take me away" and TTPD starts "I was supposed to be sent away"......love it!
I know you’re a speak now girlie so I’m excited for you to hear would’ve could’ve should’ve
ohhhhH AM I EVER
"The slowest way is never loving them enough" WHOA - same reaction girl, same reaction!
Your reaction to would've could've should've is exactly the same as mine. Favorite song ever.
For me hits different is a combination of
New Romantics, august, death by a thousand cuts, message in a bottle and tis the damn season.
The way you started with “your in for a shit storm honey” lol could’ve would’ve should’ve. I adore you I need another video. My energy has fastened myself to you like a stitch hahaha your vibe is chill your such a bright light💜✌🏻
